so taking an ssri and doing dxm is bad. if i go one day without taking it can i dose the day after? or should i wait two weeks?
Two weeks, especially if you've been using the ssri daily for a while, not worth risking it really, you can get dxm anytime you want, not like it's from a dealer or something, and you only have one brain so I mean take that into consideration if it wasn't obvious already. Gotta wait til those blood serum levels go down.

Sorry! but it is what it is :\
You also have to weigh the facts, if your SSRIs actually work for you then you need to consider the risk of going off of it for two weeks for one night of DXM.
I haven't done weed much but I'm thinking of getting a marijuana card. I've read it can help with asthma so I want to give that a shot. Anyways, I live in California, how much should weed cost in a medical dispensary? Does your primary physician know if you have a card? I just want to keep this as discreet as possible since my parents are hugely against this.

I have asthma but I use adavair for a long term solution
you should look into edibles, if you've got asthma.
they have edibles at the dispensaries? do they have just as good effect as smoking? [editline]23rd April 2014[/editline] I use advair too but I just wanted to see how much better weed makes it seeing how it's like a miracle drug
better effects unless you just want to peak really fast the come up takes longer but holy shit the high is that much more amazing and it sticks around longer and yeah they should have loads of options, depends on the dispensary, but they might even have thc lolipops and sodas if you're lucky :)
The dispensaries near me also have like, capsules I have no idea how those work tho
holy shit this is expensive. I just checked out the menu of a dispensary near here and one treat is like 60 dollars
hello, i've been searching for molly. do you know where molly is? [sp]it's an okay song, but rly i am looking for molly[/sp] in other news! i'm not longer banned! and my dance performance went great. only three days of school left. not really excited for anything past may 1st... i have court for a driving fine or whatever. DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE KIDS! i didn't do anything illegal really and i got pulled over anyways. i luckily didn't get a dui. but that can fuck up your life.
holy shit this is expensive. I just checked out the menu of a dispensary near here and one treat is like 60 dollars
yea but a $60 edible is going to last you at least a few days, you take one bite and you're good.
holy shit this is expensive. I just checked out the menu of a dispensary near here and one treat is like 60 dollars
Truthfully I wouldn't go for edibles if you're having trouble breathing. They won't help your breathing because it isn't absorbed into your lungs. Think of the smoke/vapor as an inhaler, you use it and it opens up the tiny little bronchiol tubes in your upper airways. I'd suggest vaping your weed because you still get it in your lungs but it isn't a bunch of burning plant matter, and with some vaporizers you can actually set the temperature so it does its job instead of actually just burning the weed like a regular lighter would. I've had no luck with edibles, drinks, capsules, or any other form of using weed to help with my asthma. Take it from me that most times it will really not help that much, it can and will stop a full blown asthma attack provided you can actually hit something between gasps. This better explains the pros and cons of treatment with Cannabis for asthma patients. http://www.leafly.com/news/medical/can-cannabis-help-asthma-patients-27df Like it says in the article, it can cause your lungs to inflame, or swell and your throat to hurt, which is kind of counter productive towards asthma. I'm not saying don't give it a shot but if you do go this route ask the person at your dispensary for something exceptionally smooth so you don't tear up your lungs even more.
The dispensaries near me also have like, capsules I have no idea how those work tho
It's like an edible but you just swallow a capsule. I take cbd capsules(2mg thc, 20mg cbd, 1mg cbn)(No high).
holy shit this is expensive. I just checked out the menu of a dispensary near here and one treat is like 60 dollars
It's probably a pretty potent edible. The $60 edible my dispensary sells would last me like 8 highs and I have a pretty high tolerance. Medical marijuana isn't cheap either.
It depends on the clinic really. You gotta scope around for the ones with the best deals and/or widest selections
Wasn't there a report about how some edible brands lie about their THC content? I'd look into that before buying considering how early we are in the legal cannabis business it must be very easy to get away with shit like that.
It's like an edible but you just swallow a capsule. I take cbd capsules(2mg thc, 20mg cbd, 1mg cbn)(No high).
So does that work like a pain killer/anti-inflammatory?

Seems like the best way to go is smoke-free. I'm like the sound of the capsules and edibles. Anyone suggest a brand, if any of the capsules and stuff? I've checked some dispensaries here and they seem to have like brands of chocolate edibles and stuff. As for the asthma, I guess that's sort of an excuse to get the marijuana card. I just know it doesn't harm as much as help. Also, is generally the first time of weed terrifying? This chick gave me this edible brownie in class and i couldn't even drive home for 3 hours, it was like slow-mo and it felt like I had to use energy to move my mouth and shit. It wasn't very pleasant overall. [editline]23rd April 2014[/editline] What do you guys prefer, seems like theres sativa and indica
i think the rule of thumb is that indica is more likely to make you pass out, while sativa is more likely to make you trip out
Sativa gives more of a mind high where you get more energized. Great for with friends or doing an activity like playing games, walking around outside, what have you. Indica aka (in da couch) is more of a body high, way relaxing, but you can get way tired and couch locked. Good for those with anxiety since the mind high of sativa can be a little overwhelming for some. Have you ever smoked or vaped considering you had that shitty time with edibles it was probably too much for your first time im assuming. Smoking gives a different high than vaping so try those out before you invest in a expensive vape or bong.
I don't plan on smoking. I believe the smoke will fuck with my asthma.
You'll just have to try around see what products you like, pastries, cookies, tinctures, drinks, candies, chocolate bars, butter, oils, lots to choose from. You just gotta keep in mind that edibles can be super concentrated and would be important to read the serving size on anything you buy. Like mentioned before some of them can last you a good few days even if it is one brownie or whatever. [editline]23rd April 2014[/editline] Also if you have the opportunity you could just buy the weed then cook it into whatever you like, that is unless your parents are against it/you live with em.
oh god, the cooking smell of it will definitely be strong and noticeable. I will, I guess one bite of the chocolate bar is one serving? Also, just how confidential are the cards? I am pursuing a career for criminal justice and I don't want it to pop up in any of my future jobs or anything since it's linked to your drivers license

The way they validate the card is by verifying the number in the California database of weedcards and you prove it's indeed your name on the paper with a photo ID. iirc the state of California made the cards pretty anonymous. You can also buy a marijuana ID card which is like a driver's license so your photo ID and prescription are bundled into one plastic card I'd double check my info though if I were you just in case I'm fucking something up It's all on the .gov website http://www.cdph.ca.gov/programs/MMP/Pages/default.aspx As far as edible brands would go I'd recommend bhang bars because they're easily dosed, reasonably priced, and the strain blend is nice. Look around the dispensaries in your area for different THC/CBD ratio edibles. It might be worth getting a vaporizer for concentrates since there's probably a much wider variety of THC/CBD ratios in that scene than in the edible scene Lastly as an FYI (I'm oversimplifying here though): THC is mainly what gets you high and loopy and possibly anxious, CBD is what knocks you out on the couch but is also more useful for medical purposes. Indica has a high CBD:THC ratio which is why it is more mellow than sativa. Then of course you can get into indica-sativa hybrids and all that jazz. But yeah long story short just try out some different strains and see what you like Good luck! P.S. As far as edible dosages go, make sure you check how many milligrams of THC you're consuming if you don't want to get too stoned. For a first time dose I'd recommend somewhere about like 10-15mgs.
I wonder how good it would be to teach people the different strains of cannabis. Like by making the comparison of how cannabis can be this tasteful consumable like alcohol. Alcohol you have different drinks like wines, beers, and liquors well with weed you have your sativa, indica, and hybrids, you also have your different ways of consuming through elaborate bongs, pieces, papers, edibles, oil rigs, etc. There really is a willy wonka-ness to how many ways there are about consuming cannabis it really should be marketed as such. Sure you have your beer piss to just get you drunk like mexican brick shit to just get high but cannabis can be so much more than that, and I feel like people forget that. I remember reading about how a ex microsoft executive wanted to make ultra quality weed, like super expensive quality weed meant for super rich consumers like how they have super expensive luxury champagnes and wines.
So does that work like a pain killer/anti-inflammatory?
I use cbd for anxiety. Pretty sure cbd works as an anti inflammatory and shit too but idk I don't have physical pain.

My local shop's got 12 for $30, seems a bit pricy And holy shit, you can get medicated Taco Mix. This truly is the future.

The way they verify your status as a patient is actually by contacting your doctor, not the state, as the state doesnt keep records unless you voluntarily join their program
