I have a question, if anyone knows.
What would the penalties be in New Jersey for getting caught with the intent to sell? (Marijuana)

you have to pay for chris christy's dinner. new jersey is so cruel
Do you have anything specifics? I've been considering doing it for the cash, I just want to know what I'm in for if I'm caught.
I'm not sure on their weed laws. Just google it. I'm sure it's harsh tho
prolly not that bad depending on the amount
If you're caught with intent to sell:
Under an ounce: 1.5 years incarceration, $25,000 max fine.
1oz - 5lbs: 3-5 years, $25,000 max fine.
5lbs - 25lbs: 5-10 years, $150,000 max fine.
25+lbs: 10-20 years, $300,000 max fine.
Also, if you're under 17, you're license is suspended for 6 months - 2 years.
Thanks, Jerz.

that's fucking harsh, no wonder weed's expensive in the states.

each state is different and so are their prices
Where I live, weed is decriminalized up to an ounce, though I don't know about intent to distribute.

For where I am its up to 10 grams; they just confiscate it and get you to do one of those scare programs. Anything above is like automatic "Intent to Sell".
what the fuck

They are talking about increasing it, lol. Something insane, too, like a few ounces I think. My city is surprisingly liberal and accepting of pot. To be fair, pretty much everyone smokes pot. It's the only thing we have to do.
I so wish I could just deal with the local compassion clubs. I've got two different guys, but they're both flaky to varying degrees, such that I sometimes have to wait up to two days.
One guy's just plain hard as fuck to get ahold of and nailed down long enough for me to get down there and handle the transaction. Other guy delivers, but he does it on the side and has a job and life and gf, and his guys who supply need to have some on hand if he doesn't.
Medicating for anxiety and depression is a lot harder when difficulties in access and availability crank up the anxiety (in trying to get shit worked out) and depression (involuntarily going dry with cash in hand).
P.S. Fuck you, Health Canada. I blame you and the Federal government, ultimately, for this entire arrangement.
Yeah, fuck Health Canada. Health Authority my fucking ass.
They are not to be trusted, like the others.
So my plants have got a bunch (20-30) fungus gnats flying around them... How should I deal with this problem?

Why can't you deal with dispensaries? You just need to get your diagnosis from your doctor/doctors office, you don't even need to tell them it's related to weed. and yeah fuck Health Canada.

Let the dirt dry out so they can't multiply as easy. They only lay eggs in wet conditions like the wet soil. Once they're in the soil they will eat away at any roots close by etc.
They are generally really hard to get rid of once you have the infestation if you want to keep your plants healthy as well. Get those fly papers etc and try to kill off every single one you can see and let the soil dry out so they can't multiply is your best bet at getting rid of them, else just keeping the population low is good enough.

Are you really bitching about Canada? Come to America and then complain...
We suck all kinds of fuck
i haven't been smoking MJ for two days now, since every day for the past year, and i have already been asked if i was on speed or something by different people.
So one of my smaller plants stems is kind of broken. It bends easily and falls when not supported. Can water still get to the top? Or should I just cut it down and try to smoke the bud on top?

dry it , smoke it
How do I hide weed in way that makes it impossible to smell it?
How do I hide weed in way that makes it impossible to smell it?
Go to a head shop and buy a smell-proof kit.

If you wanna pay out the ass for something specially designed for it (kinda gimmicky to me) just anything air tight- mason jars have been a favorite of stoners for years.

Health Canada sent letters to all of its registered medical marijuana license holders and told them they had until April 30th to send back a form confirming they had destroyed any and all plants they may have been growing, and if they didn't get a form back, they'd inform the RCMP. Health Canada knows exactly where its patients live. For context, April 1st was the end of the old medical marijuana license program, MMAR, which allowed you to grow your own. The regime in place now is MMPR, pretty much the same thing but you have to purchase from federally-authorized places by mail-order only.
Best part is, they clearly stated that there would not be any compliance inspections to check if you did destroy your grow op if you send the form in saying you did. So, either fill in this symbolic piece of paperwork, or we'll tell the RCMP you're running a grow op.
Meanwhile, I live immediately north of Washington state, which has fucking legalized the commercial sale of weed. In the context of MMJ, you're damn right I'm bitching about Canada.
yep, mason jar, possibly in a freezer bag
you'll be fine

Eh I didn't tell them I destroyed my medicine and nothing has happened but that's probably because of the injunction, whole lotta stress for nothing. I have faith in our court case that personal production and extracts will become/remain legal. Trial starts early next year.

Also the Privacy Commissioner of Canada is looking into Health Canada's privacy problems relating to the mmar. Apparently I'll get mail when/if they do something about it.

Yeah, the injunction did happen, but I didn't want to complicate my post even further with local events; the injunction was forced on Health Canada by the court, so it's not a point in their favour except to say they didn't openly defy a judge.
Maybe I'll try again with getting documentation the compassion club will accept. I called the office of the only pot doc in the area (back under MMAR), because he had a local office in town as well as his main practice (and drug rehab clinic) a few towns south.
Local clinic said they only handled people who actually had him as their GP, all medical marijuana matters were handled by the south practice. Called them, they asked if I was category A or B. I said B, they blew me off by telling me to go get my form filled out and signed by a specialist.
It's like, fucker, I can't, why do you think I called this office? Discouraged me from even trying to work with the system.

thank you

Most dispensaries only require a confirmation of diagnosis, so if you have been diagnosed it's simple as asking the doctor/their office for a copy of it. The other required stuff is personal info, government id, and if you're mail order, photo id. At-least it was this simple when I first registered at a dispensary, even easier with an mmar. The "pot doc" you're referring to, is it by chance? http://www.mcrci.com/ Just curious, heard a lot about them. The categories are gone now with the mmpr so maybe you will have an easier time.

If things end up going your way and you have access to dispensaries and want to find a good one that may have what you need then you can PM me if you want. I've bought a lot from different Vancouver dispensaries and found the few that seem to stand out to me. Pricing and respect are the main qualities I look for in a dispensary and it's surprising how many fail.
