i just remember some thing on an ASGI livestream where they were discussing some GBB that couldnt powerstroke
I can't do it with my WE High Capa 5.1 Dragon.
It's not that big of a deal to me, though.
I can powerstroke my CZ and my glock so not THATS KWA
my kjw 5.1 hicapa doesnt powerstroke
What's a good battery to get for my G&G M16A3?
I have a 9.6V 1600 mah battery (NiMh) and it serves me pretty well but only lasts me about 4 hours out of a 6 hour game day.
I've done a tiny bit of reading and found that LiPos are really delicate n shit so that's probably a bad choice.
Should I stick to NiMh batteries?
Are LiFe/LiFePO4 batteries any good?
I'm really tempted to buy a stand-alone grenade launcher, and I like the GL-06 a lot, though from what I can see the only GL-06 on the market is made by Ares, and I have little to no information on the build quality of their guns. If anyone has any experience with Ares I'm glad to know.

Personally I think the GL06 is crazy ugly compared to the M320 or MK13 standalone, especially since the GL06 is generally used by LE and Riot police instead of actual military units, but I would trust Ares with that enough since single shot grenade launchers are hard enough to fuck up.
also 6 shot grenade launchers low speed hi fag amirite lel 9chan jokes

i can powerstroke my USP

Well, that's just a matter of preferance. I've heard that Ares are quite sloppy with their gearboxes, so I imagined that wouldn't be a problem with their grenade launcher.
hello yes
I acquired this thing

I don't even know what brand it is, everything is in japanese or chinese or something
it doesn't shoot, after taking it apart (because fuck asking people who know before taking it apart like an idiot) it seems a bit that feeds the BBs to the barrel (chamber? i dunno) and is supposed to move a little bit doesn't move a little bit, doesn't load the BB, and doesn't shoot. I'm pretty sure it's the only faulty part because if I muzzleload the BB it shoots just fine
any way to fix that?
I really don't want to be pushy but I've had the thing disassembled on a tray for a couple days and it'd be nice to get a response about it
No offense, but most of the time guns that cheap aren't worth repairing when you can replace the entire thing for the price of one part to fix a normal gun, so not much is actually known about repairing them. Most broken spring guns stay broken and are either wallhangers and props or thrown away.

Lipos are really not that delicate. As long as you're not retarded they will be just fine.

Yeah, I don't trust anything by Ares either.
What kind of shells are you looking to shoot? If its anything other than nerf rockets, you might be best off with one of the tiny pistol launchers. Although they might not fit the look you want, they offer the same performance in a tenth of the weight and size of a regular launcher, and it means you won't really have to change your loadout to accommodate one.
I've never heard the term 'powerstroke' (usually it's called slingshotting), but most any functioning airsoft pistol should be able to do it. Follower locks the slide back on empty, drop the mag, slide is still locked, new mag in, pull slide so it unlocks and release to chamber the round.

Just ordinary 40mm mosquito shells. Even though have heard mixed things about Ares, I can't quite see how anything should go wrong with such a simple construction as a grenade launcher. Other than structure failure of course.

What do Lipos have over NiMh batteries?
What do Lipos have over NiMh batteries?
size, weight, charge time, sustained RoF, higher RoF, and price. I'm sure theres more.
LiPo batteries are typically more expensive and higher maintenance, in that they require better chargers and usually that thinger that makes sure the voltage doesn't get too low, but everything else makes a LiPo a better battery.
edit: lipos are now affordable

nigga
WHAT
Lipos cost $5-8 dollars a piece, its worth spending $40 on a charger when its like that.

Well considering that Ares consistently fucks up on most everything, I wouldn't put it past them. Take that with a grain of salt though, as I boycott ares because of some of their shitty business practices.
If you don't care for looks and are using mosquito shells, those pistol launchers will definitely be better than the fullsize varieties.
Oh sorry, LiPos were more expensive for airsoft guns back in the day. I haven't been shopping for one in years, clearly out of the loop in that regard. My bad.
Yeah, at this point, there is literally no point to using a Nimh or NiCad battery. Especially because you're supposed to store lipos charged, which means you don't even have to recharge all of your stuff the night before gameday.
From my experience they also retain charge better, and perform better in cold
Lipos cost $5-8 dollars a piece
Uh, for a piece of shit RC battery with nowhere near the capacity or current needed for airsoft, sure, but a quality LiPo starts at $20-40. I have never seen a battery usable in airsoft for $5.
yo mine were $9 a piece and they are 1200mah 7.4 20c.
its literally the same thing as the g&p ones that are $30 but in a different label
The lipos taped to my MP5K's were like $8 or so, and have lasted many thousands of rounds without issue.
-snip-
Who sells good AK-74 midcaps for my CYMA AK in box sets at a fair price? Evike and Airsoftgi both have thin pickings for AK's (I prefer black mags)
would I need a stronger spring or a weaker spring to make my hicapa's recoil crisper? as it is its a bit sluggish, and thats the only thing I miss about the ATP. as shit as it was, it had snappy recoil (probably because the slide weighed nothing though)
