This is all stuff that I need/want.
I'm not going to spend more than about 80 bucks.
The Propane adapter and Tamiya Large-small connecter are going to get ordered regardless.
Would it be a good idea to go for the sling and the spare mag or something to get that up to the 80 dollar limit that I'm setting for myself, or should I go for one of the lights first? (The reason I seem so obsessed over lights is because I'm going to a night op in November)
The KJW propane adapter is a cheaper alternative. While ugly, you can zip-tie a flashlight to a rifle in a pinch.
For face protection I just use a Shemagh or a rag, unless you are required to use a brassguard.
Go find the flashlights on ebay or DealExtreme, they're cheaper.
It's going to all get ordered eventually, I was just wondering what you guys think I should go for first. since it's likely that the first game I go to in October will be too close to my next paycheck to get another shipment of gear ordered and received by game time.
I'll skip the Facemask and get a shemagh.
I also threw that Plastic Propane adapter into the list and took out that metal one.
I think the gloves are the most optional thing on the current list, so I'll probably skip those entirely for now as well.
dont get a metal propane adapter, get a plastic one. Its easier on your fill valves.
Just curious, why's that?
Because most fill valves are made of aluminum which is brittle in small pieces like fill valves, and jamming another metal piece into that can damage it or even break it, plus the "increased durability" is negligible because I've been using an AI propane adapter for about 3 years and it's still in great shape, plus if it gets too messed up you can just put the nozzle extension on it and it's like new again.
My XM177 and M14 are having a similar issue. With the M14 it's constant, but it only happens the the XM at higher rates of fire(about 20+ I'd say). So they'll both fire the first shot or two normally, but then around the third shot it won't fire, and the gearbox will sounds muffled and make a horrible grinding noise. If you keep pulling the trigger(because that's not bad or anything:tinfoil:) it'll fire after 2-3 pulls, and then it'll repeat the cycle. I think the fact that it only happens to the XM at higher fire rates is significant. Anyone know what's wrong?
Are thunder bs a common usage on fields? just want to know incase i get one
I'd say so, I probably hear 5-6 go off a day that I play.

They seem to be used by the people who spend tons of money on airsoft, while they do offer the tactical advantage of being able to be thrown. It seems like the cost to deploy one would be about $1.75, and that's if you already have the grenade assembly.
You need to buy the grenade assembly ($20), Grenade Shell ($1.50), and a Co2 Cartridge ($.50). The high cost of using them makes it something I never bother to use.

Depends entirely on your field, I think I've only seen 2-3 go off in over a decade of playing airsoft, but my field doesn't allow them and normally the outdoor places I'm going to have bigger booms in use.

Honestly, when you have the you may use IF 2-3 a day, that's only $5-$6 a day on Thunder B's. I mean, you can save that by not being someone who uses field BBs and spends $20 a bag.
I mean if you don't want to spend that, that's your business but, they're really that expensive..
What is the best camouflage to use in this terrain?

Kryptek would go well with that top photo, while ATACS-AU and FG would go well with the next two if you ask me.

Eh, any current generation camo (ATACs, MULTICAM, MARPAT) is too out of reach for my budget. Anything that is last generation USGI (OD, DCU) or common (RealTree, MossyOak) that would work that is better than US Woodland?
stick with M81 yo or maybe get DCUs or 6 color to mix it up.
SURPAT would be good
good luck finding it though

Not only is SURPAT too expensive it's also one of the easiest Russian camo patterns to find which makes the entire post irrelevant.
$116 isn't THAT expensive for a BDU set in a new pattern..

I can get a set of Medium DCUs for $20 and Woodlands for $10.
you asked for woodland camo recommendation, saying you already used m81, and then restricted your choices to m81, od, and dcu. Which do you think is best for woodland? Stick with m81.

neither of those are new at all though
SURPAT isn't that new either it's been around for almost as long as Multicam.
Has anybody ever heard anything about this thing?

Somebody's selling this one for super cheap and i'm interested since i've not seen many airsoft S&W pistols and it's like $20 posted. It looks like it's Co2 though.
It's spring.
oh
well fuck that
i was wondering why it was so cheap, didn't say anything in the thread and i couldn't see anything on the box.

except it's actually like $150-170 because russia and if he can't afford to buy gaytacs
I'm looking to get a PDW, I just can't decide which one i want to get, I would like it to be GBB but I'm open to other options, any recommendations ? Also my budget is roughly around the 200 to 300 range if that helps any.
I would not recommend your first gun to be a GBB for anything more than plinking. They require a lot of maintenance to keep running smoothly compared to an AEG. Also, AEG magazines are cheaper and more accessible. This is coming from someone who runs a GBB as their primary.
Oh, I have been in Airsoft a long time I owned several KWA rifles and have even built a systema m4 from the ground up, sorry I should have been more specific.
This will be my first GBB rifle though.
