Got a question about Glock parts compatibility
I got my TM glock 18c and I want to get a guarder aluminum FSB slide for it
Guarder doesn't make the vented outer barrel for the 18c except in steel, so that's a no-go since that'll chew up my aluminum slide to pieces
I was looking at the shooters design brand 18c aluminum slide
Yay or nay?
Combining any sort of slide and barrel from different manufacturers throws you into the danger zone pretty immediately, but I'm not sure if it'll be better or worse than a steel barrel in an aluminum slide. My Guarder G34 kit has that setup, and while there's definitely been wear going on, its still doing just fine, but you may have a different experience. I'd probably use the Guarder steel for now, until you feel its doing more damage than you find acceptable, and then switch over to an aluminum from another manufacturer.
Just be aware that almost all Guarder slides require a solid amount of fitment before they work, so be ready.

Otherwise I'm going to get the guarder aluminum Glock 17 outer barrel and end up looking like a retarded glock 18 without the compensator slits
look and see if there are any PGC G18 kits.

Full kits won't be any good, he wants the Russian FSS Glock slide.
calling all rus-fap
what murikan/NATO camouflage would be ok to use with an AK?
i mean something that "fits in" with the russian style
preferably something easy to find please
Rossia has an M81 clone called "Les"
so theres that.

Ok, so I made a to-buy list based on priority (aka shit that's sold out everywhere gets high priority) and bundle buy convenience - tell me if my list is good-to-go

Sights: Undecided - will be using the glock alongside a giant 55lbs shield so I probably won't be using sights but moreso lazerz. Maybe this one? Recommend me one from the sites above
Accessories: Lazer as mentioned above. Recommend me a decent one from the sites above
Internals: tktwist? Loading nozzel? Idk, it's gonna be a cqb bbhosegbb so point me towards... a good balance between durability and accuracy I guess? Again, if I can nab something from the sites above, please chime in so I don't pay craptastic shipping fees
If the recoil spring doesn't come with an upgraded hammer spring you'll need one of those too. Also invest in some cheap metal sights like the guarded steel night sights, the plAstic TM ones will liberate themselves from the gun at some point
Rusfap help!!!!
What are some of the simplest Russian loadouts one can make, especially from a Flora or Partizan base? Let's pretend money isn't an object.
Partizan:
-Partizan Suit in either SS summer or SS autumn
-Smersh
-Mockbas (Russian Adidas)
-Beanie or something
Flora:
-Flora M88
-Russian Officer's Belt
-4-cell canvas AK pouch
-Flora kepi
-USGI boots
One more question, what goes best with an AKS-74U besides some sort of tank crew or HIND pilot sort of deal?
Second line infantry works (rear guard, etc) - basically all the people who got issued shit things
Not sure what else though (besides FSB and their tacticool AKS74Us), since AKS74U users reportedly hate their gun
Are chicoms used by modern units at all, despite being Chinese?
No, they swapped to the lifchik, and the last time I saw a photo of one in use was the second chechen war since the lifchik was rendered obsolete pretty much afterwards
I need help. I want to get a new gun. I have three options in my head and need some assistance in rationalizing one of them as my purchase. I can get an okay performing AEG w/ 5 mids that I've had a bbwarzboner for since forever but it won't fit my kit and it's a bit long for cqb, I can get a subpar AEG that will help me come closer to finishing my CAG kit and is shorter than the other one, or I can get a high end pistol that I will have a lot of fun with in cqb while being at my peak of effectiveness.
ps, i avoided names of guns intentionally because i don't want people to show bias on brand.

I'd probably get either the gun that fits your impression or the pistol, but "high end pistol" is really a horrible concept to vote for, there's simply too much variety.
If you'd give some sort of clarification on that you'd be doing yourself a massive favor.

Option 1: Echo 1 AMD65 w/ 5 King Arms mids
Option 2: AGM or other chinese 416, +extras depending on how much I have left
Option 3: TM Pistol of some variety, +a couple mags, or if I got a glock, then some extra parts since i have mags.
[editline]1st October 2013[/editline]
I'm honestly thinking pistol at this point. I already have a good pistol, but I could have another one that is even better. I'd rather wait to have a steady income and then get a quality 416, perhaps even trade my G&P for one, and my endgame of bbwarz collecting will be an LCT AMD-63.
definitely not chinkanese 416
an AMD's only 3 inches longer than a 10" barrel 416 but if you've got your heart set on an lct
The AMD63 is just my dream gun, so I'd rather splurge on it and get the best there is, instead of getting the E1 AMD65 and either leaving it stock and mediocre or slowly converting it to a still not as nice AMD63 with it costing the same as an entirely LCT one. I think I'm gonna go with a TM pistol of some kind.

I can directly vouch for a Guarder slide with a SD outer-barrel because that's what I run. Probably getting close to 3000 rounds through it and it's still smooth as fuck. Here's the outer-barrel I have.
Don't get the Guarder extended slide catch - many have said it fits like shit. This thread is pretty accurate on what upgrades to get.
As soon as you buy that new frame and a Guarder slide, be prepared to file down a couple of parts in the hammer assembly otherwise the slide sticks. I'll try to find the guide I used.
All the loading nozzles are pretty shit par the airsoft surgeon one (if you can find it). I'm still waiting on my TK Twist barrel, so can't comment on that.
So how is King Arms on build quality? Heard their externals are pretty great.
I'm really interested in their SIG 516 but it's pretty costly.
I had the KA Oberland M8, and it was easily the most solid gun I've ever had my hands on, externals wise. The gearbox was okay, and it had a metal hop up unit with o-rings everywhere on it. Fish also fielded it one time, and he may be able to say something for the build quality as well.
[editline]2nd October 2013[/editline]
Also, recommend pistol flashlights?
That thing was pretty darn good. Probably the only non retro / tactical AR that i have liked.

On a budget, the G&P M3 lights are pretty awesome, especially the ones with CREE LED's.
Fish and Felix should both remember how bright it was.
http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?cPath=33_188&products_id=31327
This one? or is the higher lumen a must? My only problem with it is that it is slightly longer than a real one so something just looks kind of off.
[editline]2nd October 2013[/editline]
Nevermind, I'm dumb. The higher lumen is the CREE bulb.
http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?cPath=33_188&products_id=31327

I'd definitely pay more for the higher lumens, but I haven't used the lower lumen bulb so I'm not sure how they compare.
Also, the reviews reminded me that the locking part is way too snug, so on mine I simply popped it out and the light friction fits very nicely on my glock. If that doesn't work you'd most likely need to file down the locking bar for a proper fit.
What's most important about this light in particular is the controls, which are extremely easy to use while shooting.
Thanks for the advice. I'll wait to save up the little bit I need to afford the higher one with my purchase. What sights would you recommend for a TM Glock? I like the long fiber optic kind if that helps.

My G34 takes real steel sights (sort of), so I've got nothing for you specifically. Just use the much loved Glock building guide on airsoftcanada which is posted a bit higher up the page for most of these sort of questions.

I'm surprised you can still see well enough to read that post :V.
Does anyone here know the width of the Army Armaments L85a1's rail?
any opinions on the full metal ICS Galil? a guy I know is willing to trade me his newish Galil for my old laptop and I'm not sure if it's a decent gun or not.
handled one, the handguard was really wobbly. dont know if a screw as just loose or what, but besides that it felt solid. didnt test fire it though
