Stronger recoil spring. Weaker spring means that there's less to pull your slide back to battery, so it will be sluggish, whereas a stronger spring pulls you back into place faster.
so what % spring should I be looking at?
also was thinking about getting a new slide since the finishe of kjw slides are shite. Who makes slides that dont suck?

Although I'd [I]highly[/I] recommend a PGC, Airsoft Surgeon, or Shooters Design over the Guarder.
also hicapa sights can be had 4cheep. Like $8 for fiberoptic front sight
Another thing. The hammer sticks up higher than I feel like is should and it makes contact with the back end of my slide and sometimes can grab the bbu and keep it from sliding all the way back with the rest of the slide. is this normal or is it a spring issue or something. I feel like its messing with my gas consumption
it's normal for the hammer to slide along the bottom of the slide, but if it's catching it means either the sear notch on the hammer, or the sear are off spec or not engaging properly.
The easy solution would be to file the part of the hammer that's catching so it won't catch anymore, but don't file too much or it won't reset
I've got an A&K SVD, but I'd really like a scope for it. Is my only option to dish out about $150 for a PSOP scope?
You can buy a scope mount then put any other scope that mounts onto rails on it.
