I know you guys pimp these all the time, but has anyone even bought any
Was just wondering before purchasing a BB gun, will my gun have to be painted or anything modified before buying in the UK?
It's been a long while but was thinking of getting back into airsoft to give me a reason to get off my lazy arse and go outside even if it is just shooting up a few boxes/cans - I'm asking also because my old bb guns have needed to be replaced for a while due to jamming and various age issues causing the plastic to become a little fragile.
Someone offered me a choice of the ICS GSG 522 with the retractable stock or an ICS MGL with 3 working grenades for my hicapa plus 4 magazines. Opinions yo

If you don't have a UKARA license, you will have to buy clear or painted guns from official retailers until you do. Proof of age may allow you to purchase from reputable private sellers, though.
I'd suggest holding off, hiring for a few games, and getting a license, then buying a new gun. Saves you a lot of possible trouble.

Yeah.
We'd sell more but we're lazy and don't advertise as nearly much as we should in other places.

I SURE LOVE PAYING $100 FOR ONE SHELL AND THEN ANOTHER $100 TO GET 10 SINGLE USE PROJECTILES
[editline]21st October 2013[/editline]
but yeah get the mgl because the gsg 522 is a sportline replica of a .22lr clone of the actual mp5 and therefore not worth it
Ok so after reading around I think my XM177 and M14 are suffering from compression hang. This is when there's a BB jam and the piston can't return to battery in time, and the sector gear engages it somewhere in the middle, which causes all kinds of problems. I'm not with my guns right now, otherwise I'd be cracking them open, but I'm wondering why they would jam pretty much after 1 shot every time(the hopup is always all the way off, I've checked the barrel for blockage multiple times). Any ideas?
can ship external parts into canada legally?
if you can, where can i find a VFC-style ak74 front end?
I shipped venom the entire upper off my M4, so I assume so.

You can ship all external parts to Canada except whatever part has the serial number on the real gun or barrels with fake rifling.
OCPC or Banshee? The OCPC is slightly cheaper and they're pretty much the same 6094esqe style.
Didn't DWT have one?
OCPC. It's from a company which has a long standing in the real gear market.
How easy would it be to make a G&P Long Entry RAS style shotgun out of an 870 that's [I]actually[/I] skirmishable?
Anyone that knows the best way to put these parts back together without having to buy a new lower receiver gets 5 cookies straight out of the oven

Otherwise, it looks like I'll be getting a new AEG
Don't think there's any point, that's a big stress point right there and would most likely break as soon as you tried to lean against the stock. Your best bet if you want to continue using it is to sand it down and make a funky AR pistol.
Or, instead of buying a whole new gun just get a new lower receiver
I figured that the price of buying a new body along with internal repair/replacement + labor (I don't have the tools or experience) would add up to a new gun.
Replacing the lower isn't hard at all to do. It's actually probably a good learning experience.

But I can see that you already removed the gearbox. That's all there's to it.
How to gas efficiency and cycle rate on a hicapa? Already put steel spacers on the spring guide to shorten the cycling, got it tuned to be as short as possible. The second pic is the slide fully back, so I can't shorten it any more.

Plastic/Hella lightweight slide
[editline]25th October 2013[/editline]
Lightweight BBU, good parts, good tuning.
Does anyone have any tips on removing "slide in" rails?
Basically the rail that I have on is tighter than a nun's asshole therefore it's difficult to get off.
wd40/hammer
Be sure to wrap cloth around the parts you hit to prevent scratches and shit
