That M3 Illuminator light that you guys recommended to me a few (Maybe ten, idk) pages ago is pretty disappointing. I got it stuck on the rail mount for my USP, so now instead of having a tac-light, I have a Snap on USP Only tac-light. also the switch on it is pretty flimsy.
I'm so conflicted
I love M16s with M203s and heatshields and I love chucking grenades at anything that moves
But I love machine gunning with a raging passion
I can't decide
obviously you should just mount an M203 to your M60
did you mount it directly to the USP?
or did you get the USP -> Picatinny rail adapter like we said to?
I got the adapter. put the light on the adapter. now the light won't come off the adapter. so I get to snap it on and off whenever I want to deal with it.

You obviously need a belt-fed M16A2 with the heatshield and M203

I came
Well, I just came back from the dentist to get my tooth fixed.
I can recommend everyone to get a mesh mask, it'll save you a lot of stress.
I bet when the anestesia's ran out, it'll start hurting like a motherfucker.
obviously you should just mount an M203 to your M60
hrrrgh
no
The pig doesn't need any additional weight, and there's no rail space for an M203 anyways.

I have an A3. I could build some sort of weird pseudo-Shrike kit using the M203 and angular heatshield, get a box mag and then mount a scope and use it as a support gun. Trying to picture how that would look.
Edit: Looks like Shrikes have been equipped with 203s so might not be the dumbest thing in the world.

Edit again: Or I could ditch the 203 and actually build a Colt LMG.
IFAP's resident TM Desert Eagle owner here. The TM's plastic certainly isn't metal
I said a TM Desert eagle with a metal KIT. I was implying that if one wants a full metal Desert Eagle then they would have to buy a third party metal body.
He was trying to say that while it doesn't FEEL like metal it still feels good in your hand.
Correction - TM plastic even feels like metal, just doesn't sound. I once fondled a chrome plated TM Sig P226. It was even cold to the touch.

Masive AR boner right there. Also, dat sight setup. Wouldn't have ever thought of that.
chrome plated plastic?
wat
Not to distract from the current conversation but I think Toronto airsoft should be on the Canadian retailers list,
I recently purchased a fairly large order from them and it was smooth as silk.
Stuff is in stock most of the time and they have a pretty nice selection of guns.
Edit: Just realized that Velocity arms is Toronto airsoft, That kindof through me for a loop.
Whats a good mask that will fit glasses and won't fog? and preferably full face
get ess land ops goggles and a lower mesh mask
where can I find replica Eotechs?
everywhere
yeah, literally every airsoft related store should carry some.
Are Advancer v12's good googles ?
yeah, literally every airsoft related store should carry some.
See, I thought that too, but I guess I missed something because ASGI and Evike dont have any, nor does AS Megastore (I know, I know)
There's one on Airsplat but it's NC Star and very odd looking, not to mention Airsplat tends to say they have something in stock when they dont...
L3 cracked down on ACM EOtechs. You'll have to order from china. Boomarms has a good number of eotechs iirc.

Thanks!
Edit: All they've got is a 551 replica, I'm looking for a 553

Looks like I was on the wrong page, found exactly what I wanted, for pretty cheap too (even with shipping)
Thanks bro!
I'm new to all this and am going to a modestly sized game on saturday. It's a field game, what sort of optics are best for mid range engagements? I can't decide if I want to go with simple red dot or something with magnification. Should I just use irons? Preferably under 50-60$ if Im gonna order something.

a lot of times, optics will be primarily for looks if using a standard aeg in a field environment. In close quarters, they can help to speed target acquisition, and in longer ranges, they can help to provide precise and accurate fire. In a moderate range though, a red dot will only be about as functional as irons, and a scope MAY help you walk your bb's on to target. If i were playing mid range engagements though, I would personally get what looks nicest for my gun.

Pretty much what Herf said. At close range a non-magnified red dot or holo sight is useful for snap shooting, at long range a magnified scope is useful for walking fire and spotting targets.
Thanks. I'm just playing with friends this time so getting a scope just for looks would make me an asshole. I think I'll go to the game with just the irons. I can decide after that if I need new stuff.
