Which of these should I get? Still want one though [/SP]

Still want one though [/SP]
-The gas mask one will not be suitable as the lenses aren't nearly strong enough to withstand a hit from a bb (From what I heard) -The last one has mesh that looks way too far apart and personally I would never trust mesh goggles in case of fragments. Everybody says "Oh it never happens. mesh is fine" but there is always that possibility that it might. Personally I think you should get goggles/brassguard. For dirt cheap($10-$30 USD) you can find ESS Profiles and Land OPS on ebay and the brassguard is only $10-$15 USD. Much safer and way more comfortable.
Can anybody suggest a decent sling for an M4 that isn't overtly fancy and wouldn't look out of place if used with an 80s/90s US infantry loadout?

Notrabies and I both use them extensively in CQB and have never had issues with paint spalling, bending mesh, or fragmenting BBs.
Well hold on, I've had plenty of bb fragments and paint spalling, but I still think the mask does a good job.
Oh. Huh. To be fair yours is rusted as hell. Worst case you can wear safety glasses underneath.
Oh. Huh. To be fair yours is rusted as hell. Worst case you can wear safety glasses underneath.
Yeah, but the paint spalling is what caused sections to be allowed to rust. Its also important to keep in mind that this mask has probably taken more hits at under 25 feet in 2 years than a lot of the people in this forum have taken in total.
Does anybody know the dimensions for a M249 gearbox?
Would take mine out and give you all measures you'd want, but I've never taken it out before and don't really have enough time to learn how. Maybe somewhere in the weekend if no one else comes up with an answer.

Such a wonderful design. 249's are a dream to work on.

Well, obviously there's something else to it, because my gearbox still won't budge. It moves maybe an inch back (when holding the trigger, otherwise it doesn't move at all) and won't do anything else. Can't move it up, it's like it's stuck on a rail or something. I've seen a video of somebody just taking these two screws out and the gearbox pretty much popped right out, what the hell. [editline]bfasf[/editline] Might have been the charging handle, even though I removed the spring and the guide off mine so it stays in place and doesnt piss me off when closing the feed tray. Whatever, gotta go sleep now, it's been a rough day and I only have 6 hours of sleep now. Dammit.
I've got a good AEG, a reliable sidearm, and I'm satisfied with my gear. What do I buy now? Another AEG or gear in different colors/patterns?
I've got a good AEG, a reliable sidearm, and I'm satisfied with my gear. What do I buy now? Another AEG or gear in different colors/patterns?
If you're playing outdoors it won't hurt to get a set of Three Color Desert.

Buy something else or save the monies until something interests you. [editline]derp[/editline] or buy me a new piston and gears
Does anyone know if the Army Armament's L85's rail is your standard 20mm rail?
are the AK hop up units different on the TM version and VFC version?
Alright people, got a discount thing going for limited time (talking about an hour or so). Which one of these; CYMA 031 AK74M for 136$ or CYMA 048 AK74 for 227$? Agree for AK74M, Disagree for AK74?
are the AK hop up units different on the TM version and VFC version?
I don't think so
Does anyone know if the Army Armament's L85's rail is your standard 20mm rail?
it will fit a SUSAT, but for any other optic you'll need an adapter. like http://www.evike.com/products/31861/
Is spray-lube suitable for cleaning pistols with? My USP's slide is filthy and i'd like to clean ViralHatred's CZ75 before i give it to him at the end of the month. The can my brother gave me is 'Kickass gun lube', according to the label. I shit you not, that's what it's called.
Depends on the ingredients. A lot of lubes have ingredients that can eat plastic and ruin hop-up rubber, so, it really depends.
Make sure it's 100% silicone
I can't find any ingredients printed on the can, but it doesn't mention silicone anywhere. It's specifically airsoft lube, though. I doubt it's got anything harmful inside if its purpose is to spray into the internals of a gun. I meant more for using on the metal parts than anything else, I tried some out on the magazine floorplate (after removing it from the mag) and it cleaned it up nicely, so it seems like it could work.
Is the Echo1 Sa58 OSW thing any good?
I've been wanting that for ages but the only thing holding me back is Midcaps are non existant for FAL's sans the King Arms, which are incompatible with all other formats.
as far as i know the lancer, jg, and echo 1 are all pretty much the same gun [editline]9th November 2013[/editline] scratch that, the lancer and e1 are the same gun, the jg is different lancer E1 JG
but the only thing holding me back is Midcaps are non existant for FAL's
oh.. really? :c
as far as i know the lancer, jg, and echo 1 are all pretty much the same gun [editline]9th November 2013[/editline] scratch that, the lancer and e1 are the same gun, the jg is different
so i assume the e1/lancer is better than the JG one?
