Also, are the Umarex G-36's any good?
If they're the rebranded ares ones then they're not bad, just expect to be fucked if anything ever breaks due to proprietary ares parts. I'm currently having issues with mine just because the trigger mechanism seems to have been poorly designed or poorly made on my gun in specific, nobody else seems to have had the problem i've got.
[t]http://meta.filesmelt.com/downloader.php?file=IMG_56764.jpg[/t] i literally googled "facepunch felix the cat fnc" and found this lol
that picture is also floating around on tumblr all the time. Not sure why, because I, nor anyone I know ever posted it there.
that picture is also floating around on tumblr all the time. Not sure why, because I, nor anyone I know ever posted it there.
I'm pretty sure the last time I saw it on Tumblr people were convinced it's a real steel semi auto FNC.
While that does look really hot, I think im just going to go with the ported muzzle break type. I just really like the look. [editline]19th November 2013[/editline] the paintjob/weather on that is hot as fuck though. Shame you sold it =<

JG M4 sopmod (agree) or G&G CM18? (disagree) JG : http://www.evike.com/products/44670/ CM18: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=15829
I got my AK chicom in, only problem is it smells like a mixture of chemicals and stank. How should I clean it?
Throw it in the mud.
so with my 11.1 in the FAL, I'm getting overspin which is basically making it to where the gun isnt feeding. The nozzle is forward and bb's arent feeding into the chamber. This should fix that, yes?
Not necessarily. What spring are you using?
no idea. probably a m120 though.
All I can say is that with an M110, 13:1 gearset, and Lonex A2, my 11.1V lipos were consistently producing overspin. Easiest fix is to go with a 7.4V.
I've tried it with my 7.4, and while yes it doesnt overspin, the trigger response is nowhere near as good. I've been spoiled by my GBBR to the point where I find it hard to use an AEG unless the trigger response is near instant.
Solution: Lonex A2 and 13:1 gearset. Great trigger response with a 7.4V and no overspin.
purchased, thanks.
Anyone have some experience with RedWolf? I've been eyeballing a KWC Desert Eagle for a while now and they finally have them in stock :v:
It is reliable, might be a bit high priced at some points but they can be trusted.
I've never really had the chance to investigate gas and gas guns properly, so how do I prevent gas leaks? Is there anything I should know about 'properly' filling a Co2 canister and how to prevent it from damaging? Are the valves you can buy on (for example) Redwolf just replacement parts like gears, if they're even relevant to pistols?

Are the valves you can buy on (for example) Redwolf just replacement parts like gears, if they're even relevant to pistols?
You don't fill CO2 tanks, you buy them and replace them when they empty out. as far as I know, there are no gears in GBB Pistols. Preventing gasleaks will depend on where the leak is, you can replace a messed up O-Ring or soak them in Silicone oil for most of them.
Also I can't find co2 bottles on their site anywhere but maybe I'm just looking at the wrong place [editline]22nd November 2013[/editline] Thanks for the clarification, guess that's why I can't find any Co2 bottles anywhere then :downs: [editline]22nd November 2013[/editline] I know there are no gears in GBB pistols, but I was using them as a way of expression, if that makes any sense, like I know you can buy gears for your gearbox if they're broken. But a magazine is a necessary component, like is a valve a necessary component? Or will I be good to go once I put the Co2 canister in the magazine?
These are the kind of CO2 cartridges you use in airsoft guns. They cost about a dollar a piece and will last you around 2 - 3 magazines worth of bb's. They can be bought in pretty much any airsoft store and in many hardware stores. They are also used for some air rifles (the metal BB kind) so you could look in stores that sell air rifles too.
95% of blowback gas guns that are weak enough to be usable in airsoft and 6mm are propane powered, not CO2 powered. For a CO2 gun you fit a 12g CO2 cartridge in the magazine, but for a propane (AKA 'green gas' powered gun you use a tank of the gas with a fill nozzle to fill the magazine's integral reservoir.
According to this exploded view of KWC's desert eagle, the Co2 cartridge can be placed within the magazine, I think by inserting it slightly slanted and then tighening it by screwing it on the bottom. These magazines that come flush with the grip once inserted are actually a somewhat "new" thing, before that every Co2 magazine had that ugly bulge sticking out from the bottom to contain the Co2 cartridge, because apparently airsoft companies just couldn't figure out how to get it further forward.

Hi I live in washington state and I was wondering if it's alright to target shoot with a airsoft gun in my backyard? is there anything I need to do?
Hi I live in washington state and I was wondering if it's alright to target shoot with a airsoft gun in my backyard? is there anything I need to do?
Backyard/private property plinking should be fine. Just make sure you're not really openly visible where someone might see you and get scared. Also might want to look up any Washington specific laws but I don't think it would be any problem.
