in the meantime, here's another quick question- will KWA M11A1 magazines (http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=5472 these ones) fit in Condor Outdoor MOLLE Dual Pistol Magazine Pouches (http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=3529 these ones)
I'm thinking not a chance. Way too tall.

Find some SMG oriented mag pouches.

yea that's what i was worried about. phooey, i don't want to buy new pouches.
Just use M4 pouches, they easily fit 2 9x19mm magazines, and they take up less space than dedicated SMG pouches.
Where can I get an HPA tank filled up?
Where can I get an HPA tank filled up?
Sports Chalet, Paintball stores, Paintball fields are some places that come to mind
What about Sports Authority/Big 5?
[editline]5th December 2013[/editline]
I assume they're pretty much the same thing as sports chalet
Generally sporting goods stores only do CO2. HPA is going to be tricky to find, your best bet is a paintball shop or possibly anyplace that does SCUBA tank refills.
Speaking of which, is it kinda awkward to get an HPA tank filled by scuba/paintball people when it's for airsoft?
Or going to a tailor to get your bdu/uniform fixed
Or going to a gunsmith to get your... airsoft gun engraved or something else
Imean like, obvioisly if they don't comment on it it's fine but if they ask and they're like, "OOH, AIRSOFT AHUEHUEH"
Mostly a question to any Canadians present, where do you guys source your batteries?
I am aware of Hobbyking but have heard of some funny stuff happening with shipping.
CYMA M14 + 2 mags for $70. Y/n?
CYMA M14 + 2 mags for $70. Y/n?
Do it. I've got 2 now and I like them. Accuracy leaves a bit to be desired but after fiddling with the compression, dropping a Lonex cylinder head in, G&G Piston head, 6.02mm Stainless Barrel, G&G Green Bucking Flathopped, I measured it out to about 275ft and I don't know where it went after that because my eyesight is shit. King Arms plastic Midcaps are good2go for mags, as well.
I've been googling for days and came to the conclusion that I'd either need a full stock reciever or custom job it. I was wanting one that bolts right up and wanted to see if you guys knew anything before I bought anything.
This one has a folding stock reciver with a buffer tube on it.(note the button)

So I've done some more research and turns out there is a bolt on (kinda)buffer tube for a folding stock receiver AK. It's a real steel part called the CAA AKSFSA. It requires some slight modding but it is the genuine way to do it.

I've answered my own question but I'm just posting here to help anyone else who might be wondering.
Looking at boots and need a recommendation. I want something that's comfortable, waterproof, and good for rocky terrain.
I don't want Merrels. I don't want Solomans. I don't want a hiking shoe. I want a boot.
I was looking ast the Belleville 615 but I feel Sage Green wouldn't look good with DCU or Olive Green (IDf fatigues)

Serpas are pretty nice. They don't have mag pouches on them, but I'm not sure why you'd want that anyway.

is wd-40 pure silicone oil ok to use with aeg's?
i have solved the mystery of the screeching motor, but it's still rather loud and smells of burning rubber. any ideas on how to quiet it?
My AKMS was pretty loud before I opened it up and fixed the shims which were way too tight.
Maybe?
Is there a quality Serpa Holster that isn't bank-breaking for the KWA USP.45 Full-Size?

What's a really nice acog replica that lights up and is magnified?
What's a really nice acog replica that lights up and is magnified?
I personally haven't seen any ACOG's that are magnified. Everyone seems to just make shitty red dot ones... Even the ones that are like, 60$+.
Well G&P makes a magnified one but it doesn't light up, it's merely a scope.
