That's actually pretty funky looking. I'd like to see that with an SP89 handguard. Do those fit on Galaxy MP5Ks?

[editline]17th December 2013[/editline]
I do have a small trishot and a small assault rifle. Problem is that they're not compact enough (ok the trishot is as compact as it gets but it lacks a stock). I got to fondle a guy's KWA MP9 and oh my god it was so neat to hold and take aim with. It really made me fall in love with SMG's.
Keep in mind that the MP9 is a machine pistol, and that most SMG's with stocks are the size of a small assault rifle. Machine pistols in airsoft really only come in AEP's, which I don't recommend for the most part, and GBB's which probably won't work in your cold country except in the warmest weather.
So, I tooked a close look at the threads on the selector switch screw, it doesn't look stripped AND when i put just the spacer thing in, it will stay. But when i put the actual selector switch on, it won't screw in. Basically i am putting the grey spacer thing in, then the brass tube inside that, then the selector switch on. Am i doing anything wrong? It is a dboys by the way.
Someone is locally selling a CYMA AKM (CM036 to be precise) for $80, comes with three mags. Used but apparently works fine. This is good deal y/n especially since I tech my own guns nowadays if they break.
That is a damn shame, because with you price limit you could have it maxed out and probably in a metal body, and its gonna be far lighter than most any other SMG. If that won't work, the UMP isn't terrible but it has really expensive magazines, the G&G MP5 is excellent once you work on its limited range, and JG P90's seem to be decent for their cost. Alternatively, have you considered a small trishot or small assault rifle or are you set on SMG's?
They make metal bodies for MP5Ks? Can you link me or something?
I do have a small trishot and a small assault rifle. Problem is that they're not compact enough (ok the trishot is as compact as it gets but it lacks a stock). I got to fondle a guy's KWA MP9 and oh my god it was so neat to hold and take aim with. It really made me fall in love with SMG's. I could consider the MP5K if it would be possible to put a retractable stock on it because my biggest problem with it is the fact that it lacks a stock, and I heard somewhere that it isn't possible to put a stock on the Galaxy MP5K Something like this. The UMP's expensive mags do not bother me but when you say it "isn't terrible" it makes me think it's sub-par compared to other SMG's. And P90's really aren't my cup of tea to be honest. I'm sorry if I'm picky, I just want the best I can get :v:
You can get the MP5K PDW which comes with a stock
They make metal bodies for MP5Ks? Can you link me or something?
Not quite. Classic Army makes a metal MP5K, which being CA is not very good, but it might be better than the stock plastic. Unfortunately the only way to get the body is to purchase the gun, which is why you never see it done.
CYMA also has a metal mp5k
Oh right, forgot about that, and while I'm not positive I imagine it should fit a Galaxy.
So after some research, the mystery rifle I picked up is a Classic Army M24, I've toyed with the idea of setting up an HPA rig to it. After looking around, I noticed classic army actually made drop in gas cylinders for their M24. How possible would it be to stick a connection for a hose on that?

Meh after a little more research, i've heard their gas cylinders are absolute shit. Slam firing, inconsistent, generally break easily. [editline]18th December 2013[/editline] Sounds like if I want to make an HPA rig for a sniper rifle, a Tanaka M700 or KJW M700 is my best bet.
From what I've heard about people HPA tapping the KJW M700s, they're scary good if you do it well.
Only got $60 (after buying a scope) and I need the scope mount. What can I do with the ~$30 I have left? I have no way of carrying M14 mags (other than pockets really). A battle belt + H harness + M14 mag pouch (for the 2 regular M14 mags I have right now) puts me over the limit. [editline]17th December 2013[/editline] I'd imagine this would look weird with just a double M14 mag pouch in the middle. or M14 mags would probably fit in these? ??? This is quite the predicament.

This is quite the predicament.
I did some math for you: If you get a cheaper mount and use the 50OFFGROUND coupon code you can get your battle belt and h harness with mag pouches and it'll all come out to under $60. OR If you want that G&P mount, you do not need the h harness to keep a battle belt on your waist. That mount, the belt and thw mag pouches along with the 50off shipping code comes out to under $60.
I want the G&P mount since the Matrix/whatever mount rises quite a bit more apparently. Also, I don't think Evike does ground shipping to Hawaii. Couple more years until we get that interstate trans-Pacific highway. Thanks though. [editline]17th December 2013[/editline] I need an inner belt for the battlebelt and Evike doesn't even have one with a quick detach buckle in the middle. :I

Personally I have a condor MCR4 and if you aren't worried about two pouches in the middle looking weird, the MCR4 would work great.
Shipping to Hawaii is literally the worst. Apparently no coupon code applies to my order. Looks like I'm just buying a single scope mount and saving $30. [editline]17th December 2013[/editline] I can just stick the mags in my pockets I guess.

And so its not possible to put a stock on the mp5k? Thats too bad because the pdw stock looks really off to me. I guess I'll settle for a G&G ump or mp5 then. Probably the ump because of the V3 gb and because its so different.
I recommend the mp5 The gearbox really isn't too bad to work on. Plus mags are dirt cheap
That's actually pretty funky looking. I'd like to see that with an SP89 handguard. Do those fit on Galaxy MP5Ks?
I like this
What kind of upgrades could I do to my Combat Machine M4 and CM048 to make them better withstand the stress of using an 11.1 lipo through them all the time?
I like this
I'd love to see that with a short mag
meh
Speaking of small SMGs, my buddy bought a JG AEP Skorpion for hella cheap and he rocked it in Davai Hard 2 with a drum mag It was pretty stupid, but stupid in a fun kind of way
What's the upcoming blacksheep op that gets you discounts on all future events?
KA AUG midcaps or MAG AUG midcaps?
I got this as my first airsoft purchase today, good for 150$?
Yes.
I have a few questions: What's so different between indoor CQB and field play? If I buy a new spring, and my gun turns out to not have a quick-change system, like the dude who sold it to me tells me it has, how hard is it to change the spring on an Echo1/VFC MP5? When I change said spring, will I need to adjust my hop-up?
CQB tends to be a lot faster paced, more movement involved, need to be more aware of your cover and sightlines and things like that. Springs arent that difficult to change. as long as you canopen up the gearbox and not have anything pop out, its as simple as pulling out the old spring and putting in the new one (protip, use a screwdriver to hold down the spring guide so the whole gear box doesnt explode) and yes, you probably will need to change the hopup. the faster/slower the bb is traveling the less/more time it has making contact with the bucking and thus giving it less/more spin. it shouldnt be that much though
