Meh after a little more research, i've heard their gas cylinders are absolute shit. Slam firing, inconsistent, generally break easily. [editline]18th December 2013[/editline] Sounds like if I want to make an HPA rig for a sniper rifle, a Tanaka M700 or KJW M700 is my best bet.
IM SORRY I HAVENT GOTTEN BACK TO YOU YET My friend has a KJW M700 that is HPA tapped, what exactly do you want to know? AFAIK it's not tapped through the bolt.
Any negatives about the Cyma full length M14s? Considering getting one as an easy way out for my Nam' kit.
It is all pot metal. Other than that it is good.
The op rod WILL break.
Reassembling the KWA USP is a pain in the ass. specifically the decocker arms, if anyone has done this how did you manage to fit them back in? every guide Ive found online is a "field strip" which is useless. the guide I have up is literally "put decocker arms back in and make sure the holes are aligned." time to order a new safety sleeve. apparently the metal is made out of butter

yeah I think I did something wrong and when taking it apart again I snapped the sleeve. shame all these holidays are coming up so getting new parts is going to be a pain.
Haha yeah I stripped a piece my first time too, I need to order the sleeve so it'll fire properly again. It just takes a lot of patience and gentle wiggling.
Help! I just put a new spring in my gun and now it won't shoot. its a M90 spring and now it won't fire it's a king arms ultra grade m4 with ris
Have you tried turning the spring around. The tight part of the spring is supposed to be around the spring guide. Been plenty of times that I was switching springs in my and my friends M4, got the spring the wrong way in, because you could barely see the tighter coil part, but as soon as it got switched around, it worked fine! Try that out!
I don't see how that would cause the rifle to stop firing completely
Also if the spring is indeed facing the right way, don't turn it around.
i somehow doubt that the spring is the root of the problem probably you just fucked up somewhere putting the rest of the parts in
Anyone know any decent UK websites for getting WW2 gear, I found a few but they can be pretty pricey so I want to make sure I have a handful I can compare, I'm looking to sort out a British WW2 Kit.
Soldier Of Fortune has a pretty good catalogue of stuff for re-enactors, including british gear. Aside from that, only other thing i could suggest is ebay or second-hand sales from people who already airsoft or do re-enacting

So I remember Herf or someone replaced their WE Glocks barrel with a plastic TM one and said it was a very good upgrade. Well I wanted to do that but remembered TM doesn't make a Glock 19. Can I just buy a Glock 17 barrel and file it down to the right length? Also retoast:
KA AUG midcaps or MAG AUG midcaps?

What's the upcoming blacksheep op that gets you discounts on all future events?
could I have done something to the rubber thing that shrouds the barrel or the hop up?
"it won't shoot" is the most general description you could have possibly given us so nobody has any real idea what the problem is
is a load balancer / charger supposed to fluctuate with its voltage level while balancing, i set the device to 7.4v as my lipo's have that but it says it's balancing at 7.98v, is that normal
max charge for a cell is 4.23v so at full charge you should be in the 8.4 range
right now it's 8.34, would that be kind of an indicator that it's nearly done?
ye what charger do you have?
imax b6, heard from a retired rc hobbyist that those were pretty rad [editline]21st December 2013[/editline] right now it says its got 0.3a, is that the current amperage of the lipo's cells?
you'll know when it's full by the BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

Also retoast:
i replied to this in post your guns before i checked this thread. you've got it right though. also need to wrap some electrical tape around your inner as a kind of shim to make it more accurate. you want it to have as much tape as possible without effecting cycling.
Catbarf, how did you do the flat metal look on the loch n load? WE puts orange painted metal flash hiders on their guns, so i dyed it black, but it is still unbelievably shiny.
Catbarf, how did you do the flat metal look on the loch n load? I sprayed flat black using barbecue paint (for durability) and gave it a day or two to dry. Then I took a stick of graphite for a mechanical pencil, and rubbed it into a piece of sandpaper held over the gun. Then I used a tissue to spread the powdered graphite around the gun surface and buff it in. Repeat until the whole thing has even coverage, and it gives a lovely gunmetal look. Once done, I sprayed it with Testor's Dullcote, my preferred matte varnish, which toned down the metallic shine to a very flat gunmetal grey. On a small surface, the Dullcote is optional, it won't make a huge difference. Experiment and see what you like.
Does anyone have a guide to dissembling WE glock firing mechanisms? I don't want to go in there blind.
1. prepare your anus 2. watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g80BWlcDtLs 3. regret taking it apart
Can WE p226s take propane?
