The Official Questions Thread Version: "Charlies in the trees, what do I need to get rid of them?"
Hey lads. I've got a simple problem here. About two days ago I picked up some king arms m4 mid cap mags so I could use them in a game. (I have A colt m4 cqb. The high cap that comes with it works fine btw) Unfortunately, not one of them feeds. At all. If I put pressure on the front and bottom they feed in hiccups, but other than that no good. First idea was to wrap them in tape to tighten the fit, but it does no good. I know this is a stupid question but I'm new and I don't want to spend money on stuff I don't need.
Tl;dr my mags don't work.
spray some silicone in to the magazine, and then load and unload it a couple times. Be sure to wash your bb's in warm soapy water afterwards. Silicone on the bb's will mess with your hopup. This will break in your mags and help them feed. If they still dont feed and its due to mag wobble, a single layer of adhesive backed velcro, the fabric side, stuck inside of the magwell will fix it. Your mags won't drop out any more, but they wont wobble either.

I'll try it and see what happens
Can you put a Hi-Capa 3.8 Slide on a 5.1 Frame?

Either little on no noticed difference. Any other ideas? (Haven't tried the Velcro thing yet, that might work)

I believe the portion of the slide where the spring guide goes is shaped a little differently, so I doubt it.

Stick a couple layers of tape inside the magwell and see if it helps. Try it on different sides of the magwell until you figure out what works best, and that's where you should put the Velcro. It's pretty cheap at Walmart.
WE P226 is fine, despite one of the mags I ordered BLOWING THE FUCK UP

How well do these things fit on VFC scars?
I want a 1911. give me options.
TM or bust
from someone with experience, truly how bad are WE 1911s? Im not sure I want to dole out the dosh for a TM, but I still want to get a 1911.

Timebomb has a gold-plated one that is pretty kickass. Wouldn't have guessed it's a WE by how it performs.

I've had a "Socom Gear" aka WE single stack. I've had it for 5 years and it performs amazingly. Sure they are a little heavy on the gas usage, but since you live in FL it shouldn't be as bad as up here.
this is happening. Black and railed or tan and not.

black and railed it is

The Elite Force 1911 Tac is pretty fun to use. I borrowed a buddy's during a game two days ago and had a lot of fun with it.
KWC 1911 if you want a really solid gun with crisp blowback.
Its CO2 powered though so its more expensive to run also little to none aftermarket support.
Hate to crash the WE 1911 party but mine was god-awful.

Alternatively I have a couple WAs that I'd be willing to part with
I mean both of mine lasted less than 500 rounds COMBINED before suffering critical existence failure, can't be that bad.
Can anyone find a lipo, 11.1 or 7.4, that will fit in a peq15 and have tamiya connectors? I'm looking on hobbyking but I dont see any with tamiya.

The quick and ghetto way (still effective) is to cut the tamiya connector with about an inch of wire still attached to it, then cut the deans connector of the battery and strip some rubber off the wire. Then twist the exposed wires together and wrap electrical tape around it. Just make sure that the neg and pos wires of the battery do not come in contact ever.
The best way to do it is to solder the battery wires onto the pins of the connector then heatshrink it and put them into the connector.
do I really need to solder the wires or could I just crimp the pins on there.
do I really need to solder the wires or could I just crimp the pins on there.
I'm pretty sure you only need to crimp them, but I always solder just because I like to.
for those who have ordered from RSOV, how long would an order take to get to me? I need an mp5k grip and the best I could find is a rs one for $30. If someone has one that they would like to part with I would appreciate it.

I don't think that real steel parts fit on any Marui-Spec guns. I could be wrong though.
can someone with an mp5k take a picture of the grip so we can compare?
