Well aware of that, though thanks for the link. Would like to find a used one though.
Where do you buy decent boxed sets of black AK-74 mags? I can't find any decent ones anywhere that are not stupidly expensive
Is facepaint practical for airsofting in the woods?

AirsoftGI sells boxed Mag Midcap sets in black and brown. Evike also sells the same thing, in addition they sell RPK-74 mags which are cool. I have brown and black 30 rounders and a RPK 45 rounder in brown, and I'd recommend them all. Mag midcaps are the best midcap I've used without any issues, also they are tits in my M16.

Thanks. Do they work in Cyma AK's? The mag that came with it is super wobbly

You know, when people ask me if this mag fits in that gun, I've owned numerous examples of both and I have varied results. I've had a CYMA AK take a mag midcap extremely tightly and unable to use it (CYMA AKS-74UN) and another take it a little loose, fixed with E-Tape in the mag well (CYMA AKS-74). So I would say go for it, because I think I just got bad luck with the former. Wobble in AK's are really easily fixed. I put the tape vertically starting on the external dimple in the receiver, folded into the magwell, then a cm or two into the magwell. One or two layers on each side does the trick perfectly, and never needs another adjustment. Mine fit like a glove in the AK that worked after the tape mod. Another handy mod for STANAG guns is the hooked side (The non-fuzzy piece) of velcro on the inside of the magwell, centered in the middle about halfway up makes mine fit very snug, and helped with the feeding issues from vertical movement.
I like my mag wells loose for easy mag extraction
I'm thinking about getting some goggles since my paintball mask is annoying and fogs like hell. Right now my price range for goggles is around 50 not including a lower half-mask. I'm thinking about some ESS goggles or buy from a surplus store and get new lenses online. I wear fairly thin glasses (and no, contacts/lasik is not an option for me) so I probably can't get low-profile goggles. Any ideas on where I should look?
EDIT: Evike is now overpricing flackjacks and I don't like the way they look.
I got my Revision DLs on ebay for $30 new. You should start there.

I have ESS goggles that I have used since I first started airsofting. I would definitely recommend them, and I would try to pick up some used ones from Ebay first, since they have a big selection of used goggles. They are really fog resistant once you rip the foam out, but the remaining perforations in the top of the goggles are still small enough to stop a bb, if you follow me, so if you don't have a full seal with your eye pro and a helmet or something, the bb's still can't get through the top of the goggles.

Also the ESS model I bought came with the nice little sleeve you put over the goggles when you aren't using them.

Wow, I stand corrected. To be fair, the XT-60s on two of those aren't very useful for our purposes and having to re-wire batteries is a pain. Now that I think about it, the last LiPo I bought was an 11.1V with a capacity of 3300mAh, so that's definitely more expensive than a battery with two-thirds the cells and a third the capacity.
yo mine were $9 a piece and they are 1200mah 7.4 20c.
Just a heads-up, that means a max discharge of 24A, which is low. Most airsoft guns peak at 40-75A, so you are losing some performance with a lower discharge rate.
Some opinion question what do you guys recommend as gas for the TM Five Seven GBB?
They recommend duster but wonder if it hold good with green gas as well. Thanks for reading:)
Green gas is fine
Most of TM's recent gbbs are updated to shoot with green gas just fine
Ender also has a fiveseven too so any maintenance and performance questions can be answered by him

yeah
he broke it because of green gas
5-7 is the only tm gun not safe with green
mix duster and green gas
mix duster and green gas
50/50?
whatever mix you want. I would think that maybe 2/3 green gas would work better
[editline]26th April 2013[/editline]
new slides are like $9 +shipping from asia
[editline]26th April 2013[/editline]
you could also get a new internal metal slide, not sure if that fixes the problem
You're not going to be able to mix gases with any kind of precision. If your gun has hop-up, it's going to vary between mags due to different muzzle velocity. Better to just use duster IMO.
Who makes better P90 midcaps, MAG, King Arms, or other?

If you don't mind the look I'll probably be willing to sell you mine

Yeah I saw them. I'll probably have to go with goggles with built-in fans since having glasses means that everything will probably fog like hell. I think Ender said he has a friend that wears glasses with goggles. If Enders reading this, can you ask your friend on what goggles he wears?
It's worlds easier to just get contacts mind you.

I wish, but $40 for the fans as well as paying for goggles is out of my budget. @Biscut, as I said, I contacts are not an option right now. I would love to get them but my parents say they're too expensive (meanwhile they get a $300 bottle of wine god dammit)
@ Killer: Holy fuck killer I love you this is perfect god damn.
