the barrel was slightly off kilter, so I'm fixing that now.
EDIT:
Fixed and put back together. now I'm charging one of my batteries so that I can test fire.
WML.
Anyone know where I could score a replacement rear sight for my Galaxy MP5k?

Why does everyone suddenly have MP5Ks? I feel less unique about mine now.
everyone's always had mp5ks
oh so I'm late to the party. ok. :suicide:
will that rear sight fit a TM G3?
Do y'alls know where I can find me a goddamn SRC G36KV with the flat top IdZ rail, slightly longer K length barrel with bayonet lug and KV stock?
Everywhere I look, it's literally sold out

Do I hear a NATO kit crawling its way out of your soviet/russian shell?
P sure Latvia is part of NATO

yes
Ok, I'll ask my questions here now. I'm seriously considering to buy an AK-105, because I really want an AK platform rifle and at the same time, something more compact - seeing as all of my guns are a bit on the long side.
I'm torn between Cyma and Dboys choices. They both cost almost exactly the same, but the dboys one apparently has more steel parts. To be more strict, I'm talking CM.040B (or D), or RK-08S (on your murrica market I guess it's one of these KALASH FULL STEEL BLABHABLABH.)
They say that the only ZnAl part on the Dboys one is the outer barrel. I heard something about the stock latches being potmetal on Dboys AK's, but I think it doesn't apply to this one?
And lastly the internals. I heard that Cyma internals are generally better and pretty much rock solid on the AK line. However, taiwangun claims that they replace the parts for the Dboys AK, putting on some reinforced piston head, replacing the plastic bearings with metal ball bearings, a stronger spring and a "stronger" spring guide. I have no idea how much truth there is in that, since taiwangun doesn't really have a good reputation around there, but we don't get much choice to be honest.
How do.
I have a mystery dboys ak (serial says its pot metal, but it is all steel)
The stock latch is kind of crap but just needs some electric tape, and the triangle stock broke by dropping it 3 times, and the paint isn't shiny like a vfc or lct, it is matte which looks cheaper but gets the job done. The bolt is really loose and wobbles all around. I would say go with what killer says because he knows more about aks than me, hopefully this will come in handy
[editline]11th February 2014[/editline]
And I haven't opened the gb but the rof is pretty low, even with a 9.6
while we're on the subject of ak's, i'm building a ruskie/rebel loadout, and therefore i am in the market for an ak. basically, in your opinion, what is the best ak that is 200 dollars or less? i'm fine with throwing cash at it further down the line, but it needs to have decent performance out of the box. folding stocks are appreciated because of my GIGANTIC facemask. I've been scoping out cyma's and such but any buyer feedback for them is either unreliable or nonexistent.

though an LCT/VFC is so worth the price compared to a chinaclone, since you won't have super breakable pot metal stock lock mechanisms (and externals in general)

Yeah but its like the cool NATO that always invites you to it's awesome adventures.

And doesn't let you buy their camo without selling at least one internal organ. Dicks.

I think the fleece Kill bought only costed $140 + 30 shipping. I may have seen the ebay listing. Not really cheap but not really an arm and a leg.
The only thing is though, LATPAT used to run for $800 for a full set because eGay sellers went full retard and tried to ~profitsz~
And by recent, I mean 1~2 years ago
So LATPAT is actually affordable when you can find it now? And is it any easier to find?
Still hard to find, ~$150+ per individual set (ie: shirts cost $150 and pants cost $150 shipped)
And none come in virtually any size smaller than an XL
Also is this G36KV a rebrand of SRC? I want to get it but I've never ever heard of TSD tactic00l

From my understanding they are the same.
I found a used Jing Gong G3 for 124 dollars. It's a really neato price for being swedenland but what's putting me off is that it the muzzle velocity is 65 m/s or 213 fps, this makes me think that the internals are worn out or something, although there is barely any wear on the externals.. Should I?
213? That's not quite right for a JG rifle... Well I mean as long as it cycles then it's probably a worn out spring or at worst a compression issue. If you can disassemble a gearbox and replace a few parts I'd say go for it.
Yeah I'm betting my money that it's compression issues or perhaps a fucked hop-up rubber.
Oh god now I'm getting anxious deciding if I really should spend my money or not.
[editline]12th February 2014[/editline]
Fuckit, I should spend my money on my other guns. I've got too many already and I don't play enough to make up for it.
So the WE P226 I had broke, I RMA'd it and airsoft megastore (parents bought the pistol as a christmas present, I told them not to use that store but w/e) is giving me $120 store credit. I decided to not go with a secondary anymore, and I had my eyes on a contour since the emerson go cam I have is garbage. But AM decided to only stock contour accessories and the only contour like camera they have is this.

It honestly looks like a better option, since I have a 1" flashlight mount that could fit it. Contour rail mounts cost like $50. Jet DesertFox uses this camera, and with a bunch of youtube reviews it looks nice. So Im just asking for opinions on what to expect if I get this.
I know battery life will be an issue, Ill buy a battery pack later on in life probably.
Contour cameras are no longer being manufactured.
[editline]13th February 2014[/editline]
Honestly I would not buy that camera without a hell of a lot of research.
If you buy a contour, get a ROAM1. they're only about 120 on amazon, also you should get one of these to go with it: http://www.ebay.com/itm/300996605103?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
The very first shot I took on my birthday was to the lens of the camera, and it would have shattered if I didn't have that attached to the front.

From what I understand, Jet uses a ContourROAM. I'd have to do some research to make sure though.
I only have the store credit on AM. Jet uses a roam on his head, and the x7 on his gun.
Thanks for the links though.
