Yes, and it actually may be cheaper than the other place that i was waiting to restock but their store is down so i can't check.
Since a complete gearbox isn't gun shaped it's not going to be problematic to send through customs, is it?
I really don't see why it would. It should get through just fine. Just know that with G&P gearboxes you MAY have to shave the nozzle down just a little. You don't have to open the gearbox for this, just put the box in the gun and see if it feeds, If not then shave the nozzle down .5mm and test it again. Keep doing this until it feeds. G&P nozzles are just a tad longer than normal ones.
I'll have to open it up anyway to change the spring since 400FPS is too much for select-fire AEGs over here and i don't plan on locking it to semi.
I'd maybe try getting it shipped to an IFAP member in the US to send but i haven't a clue if the postage would still be the same or if evike is just charging insane amounts because they can.
Holy fuck $80. I had to pay $107 for shipping my scar-H from HK and that was the most expensive shipping option...

Don't get it shipped to Kill, Customs likes to steal his shit even if it's coming from the same state he's in.
how the fuck do I get this orange flash hider off my carbine?
it has this small screw, and it looks like an allan screw, what size is it?
Get a cheap soldering iron and melt that bastard off.
Or get a good soldering iron
Or don't do that so you don't mess up a good soldering iron.

Mainly the tip but still.
Should I dump money into making my Combat Machine better or wait and purchase a better M4 platform to upgrade?
I'd personally dump money in to a combat machine and be very happy with it. Its really up to you, and how you like the polymer body. If you dislike, save and buy something better. If you like it, its a great platform.
Now a question for me: What do you guys think of this look for the g36? I'd get a pressure switch for the light if i use it this way.

Also is there any way to make a flat-top m4 work for desert storm or is an A2 upper a must? I'm having trouble sourcing a JG A2 upper.
Im not digging the tan, tan doesn't look so hot on G36s unless they're painted.
Yeah, i feel yah. So I found pictures of 7th SFG in Argentina '91 using flat tops. Do you guys think that would clear me to use a flat top for a Gulf War kit until I can get the a2 upper? Ratings will suffice, don't necessarily need replies
The longest ORGA barrel(on their sight anyway) is 500mm. The distance from the hopup to the tip of the muzzle break on my M107 is 1000mm...to the tip of the barrel is roughly 875. Do they make anything longer than 500? Would a 6.23mm bore barrel even be practical past 500mm? I have a P* so I don't think air volume will be an issue. Are there any other barrels you guys would recommend?
Looking into getting a bolt action snipper riffl, which is best non-l96 variant?

cheapest place to acquire a complete alice set?

It's not complete but it's a great cheap start, and they have other pieces and pouches should you need them also ps I love and miss you.
VFC's V3X light thingy, good to go?
My local gun store sells issued KAC M5 RAS's for $68. If I had an M16 that needed a better rail I'd pick one up in a heartbeat.
What piston should I pick up for my Galaxy? I'm still confused as to what to buy for this trigger response build. I've already got a product link for a good motor, and a good bucking, as well as other things.
Also Gears. I need gears linked to me too.
trigger response is going to be determined mainly by your motor, second my your battery, third by your spring, and fourth your wiring/connections.
get a high torque motor (lonex titan, matrix 3000, jg blue, etc..)
a lipo with a high c rating (can be had for $10 on hobby king)
spring doesnt really affect it too much, but the lower the spring the quicker it can be pulled back
remove tamiya connections and replace with deans or xt60
your piston isnt really a performance part as much a durability part. i mean, if you wanted rate of fire, you could get a really light weight piston, but thats the only performance thing that a pistol will change. Get a lonex or shs piston. theyre cheap and very durable.

awesome, Thanks, ignoring piston for now then.
i mean, a nice piston is always a good idea.
if you want better compression and consistency, a new piston head is a good idea.
i like to use clandestineairsoft.com when i buy upgrade parts
I've discovered that you can find real M16 length free float RIS systems for cheaper than the airsoft counterparts. I'm possibly going to try to fit one onto a 20" barrel in some weird M16 project.
I want to use

on a JG one piece M16 barrel.
I've read that the barrel nut has the same threads atleast on G&G guns, but I'm still not positive because of the profile of real vs airsoft barrels.
If anyone has any info at all, pls tell me.
I got a 7 inch one and the height didn't match my receiver.
I would never open up the inside of a Galaxy MP5K gearbox, both of mine are probably over 50K rounds each on 11.1v lipo's with no internal breakage of any kind. I'd just get batteries (and maybe change the wiring connectors) for now, and if you really need a better response then do the motor.
Getting the hopup built right should be your first priority because you will not believe the range you can get out of it with ease.

I don't need range. the MP5K is my Indoor/CQB Weapon. I have an upgraded MP5 for when I'm playing outside already.

I'm just saying that at CQB safe velocities my MP5K shot about 20 feet less than my Real Sword SVD despite a 100 fps difference between the two. The Galaxy should entirely replace the fullsize MP5 for everything except looks if you're aiming for performance.
Also the default hopup setup is prone to being awful, even for CQB.
My Galaxy MP5k is currently locked up.
It sounds like the motor is turning slightly but can't complete the spin.
Any ideas?
sure it's not the battery?
Fully charged 11.1, works well in my other guns.
I can feel the motor start to turn in the grip, but it stops before cycling.
Edit: Adjusted motor height, gun cycles now.
Try making a little hook out of a paperclip and release the ARL through the motor grip.

someone on reddit said it sounded like my motor height was off in my mp5k. I'll take a vid of myself shooting and see if I can replicate the issue.
