G&Ps AR15A2 has an A1 upper and A3 delta ring

Well that's not a real thing. Though theoretically I could exist, as there were many rifles that were refurbed/rebuilt out of old spare parts and issued to rear echelon troops

Found a seller for U-283 connectors. Hoping I can solder the wires in the TS PRC-148 to it and mount it in place of the current proprietary plug. Otherwise I'm going to have to get rid of the brand new radio. :suicide:

I'll probably buy the RPK, a 110 spring, and an extra mag for it. As for the LBE, what would be an inexpensive option that holds RPK mags? You think the ICS 11.5" Free Float Rail I asked about a page or two ago will come with a way to secure the outer barrel or will secure the outer barrel itself to the M4 I've got? because at the moment the barrel I have is just kinda on the gun only held on there by the fact that the gun is upright.

Most of the free float rail I've installed have come with a barrel nut, which will secure the outer barrel to the upper receiver. As long as it come with a barrel nut, you should be good to go. I decided to do a paintjob on my gun without disassembling it (lazy and lack of some instruments), but closed every possible hole with tape. Am I wrong?

What gun?

M4 By disassembling I meant removing gearbox and hopup/inner barrel from body.

As long as no paint ends up in the GB, hop up, or on any electrical contacts, you're good. Disassembling will give better results though.
