How is that going to stand up compared to the 1000D? I'm pretty gentle with my gear but I dont want some ACM POS that's gonna tear on me after redoing my MOLLE webbing 5 times. I can afford the Flyye if I have to but I'd rather save the extra cash for other things

500D should work fine for airsoft purposes.

I'd save up for the real thing, you can get a new jpc for like $260-280. I know it's only airsoft but if you can get the money for the real thing it'll be better than any replica. Heck, Mayflower APC's are only $220.

Honestly gear isn't a huge deal for me [sp]unlike some people ahem[/sp] so I really wouldn't mind a repro pc that carries mags just as effectively.

I just think real gear isn't a bad investment for the long term at all. That was my mindset when I first started airsofting, I had a $30 pc and a gun with $200 in uppgrades lol.

Also given that I'm a college student and you say things like "its only $220-$260" like its nothing when thats about 1/4 of my net worth right now with almost no income :P

Where does the chicom rig go on the chest? I have seen people wearing it up high on their chest and some wearing it just above the belt. Or is there no specific way? pls respond

Does the VFC HK417 accept the M4/M16 ProWin hop up chamber? Also, my trigger gets stuck after every shot on semi-auto. I have to push it back out and shoot it, before it gets stuck again. How would I go about fixing that? I was told I need to get a new trigger, but the HK417's trigger is proprietary so I can't just get one of those fancy speed triggers.

The trigger spring is probably installed incorrectly, have you ever taken it apart?

Well it's most likely a problem with the trigger spring, either it's installed wrong or something is interfering with it(stray shim, glob of lube, metal shaving, etc). Either way, it'll probably need to be disassembled to fix it

it could even be as simple as one of the screw on the GB being too tight
