I run mechanix. SOOOO GOOOOD, I find they are much better then hard knuckle.
I run Mechnix MPACTs. Good protection but not Jarek-level of idiocy. Heard good things about the PIG FDTs so I want to try those out too.
I will say to defend hard-knuckled gloves, I really really love my Oakley SI gloves.
I use some alpine stars hard knuckle gloves I got from my dad's stage. Stuntman surplus best surplus. Just sold an old set of leathers from his stage for $200 actually.
Condor stryker gloves here. Actually pretty comfortable, nice compromise between protection and dexterity, and they've proven to be very durable [editline]5th April 2014[/editline] I recently lost the right hand and I'm probably gonna just buy another pair, that's how satisfied I am with them
So I've been reading about shimming. I was wondering, do I need to shim my brand new AEG or is it advisable to do it? I got an G&G GR4 G26 PBB.

How does the Magpul PRS stock mount? Does it attach to a buffer tube or what?
How does the Magpul PRS stock mount? Does it attach to a buffer tube or what?
The real one is for fixed stock ARs, not sure on airsoft, I'd assume the same.
Speaking of stocks, are most airsoft buffer tubes milspec or commercial? And are repro stocks fit to one or the other?
In my experience, it's a split, but of varying diameters.
Is the JG M700 compatible with VSR-10 internals? Looking for the cheapest VSR-10 clone I can find
Need to buy a new pistol grip for my CYMA Ak. looking for brown fakelite (I had a D-boys one that fit), or a real wood one. I can't find a non tacti-shit one anywhere.
I've heard of people modding the real ones to fit. If you go that route, surplus bakelite AK pistol grips are a dime a dozen.

Huh, guess I was thinking of something different then.
how do I put on a ms2 sling i feel like i'm going to strangle myself :v
1:attach to gun 2: loosen strap 3: wear 4: tighten if necessary

Just wondering if my CYMA might have a completely different setup that would make it impossible to fit.
they're g2g i run a cyma shell and cage in my lct kit build and it works fine
So I was thinking of getting a sniper. I was looking at a replica of Snow Wolf: http://gunfire.pl/product-eng-1152196450-Sniper-rifle-replica-SW-04-TAN-.html Is this a proper sniper to start with? And could someone point me to a guide on advisable upgrades for a spring sniper? Ty in advance.
Is there anywhere i could buy a lot of replacement gears from? been playing with an old spring gun but 2 gears have worn away soo now nothing works :(
Do you mean sears?

Ty in advance.
Honestly if you're getting your first sniper rifle, get a JG BAR-10 or other VSR-10 clone with 100% parts compatibility. Get a 6.03mm TBB (Prommy is good), a new bucking (I'd suggest Firefly), a V-Trigger (PDI or Laylax), a reinforced piston (Again, PDI or Laylax), a higher rated spring (M140 will put you around 480FPS). [editline]10th April 2014[/editline] And of course do some research on Teflon mods for compression and hop, those will help. Then spend as much time behind the gun as you possibly can. Learn exactly where the trigger breaks, exactly where to set the hop, and exactly where the round tends to go after you've put in a good number of rounds to break in your new parts.

I have a hard time finding the parts from the brands you named.
how do I put on a ms2 sling i feel like i'm going to strangle myself :v
Sorry for the delayed reply. You'd want it like this while you're using the weapon I believe the strap is over your right arm/shoulder and under your left, but if that's not it just do the opposite. The clip is attached to a mount point on the front of the weapon when you want to sling it.
Quickest of quick questions. Canadian resident looking for a spring revolver, mainly for backyard plinking. I've only been able to find CO2 six-shooters from Canadian retailers. Any ideas? Thanks.
If I'm going for an 80's US infantry loadout, do I just want M81 everything or were some things still OD? Like suspenders, belts, canteen covers, rucksacks, etc
I've seen M81 gear, but go for OD everything. OD ALICE, OD ruck, OD jungle boots if you get them, if not, just plain leather US combat boots. brown undershirt Watch Jarhead, instant 80's/90's infantry boners and pretty much replace the 6-color desert they're wearing with M81. They did good with that movie.
I've heard that replica plates have a reputation for cracking easily and are (obviously) a good bit lighter than real ones. Anyone know a way to add some weight and make the plates stronger?
