TM AK47 or AK47S? I've always loved underfolders but am wary of durability
I don't have experience with the TM versions of those specifically, so take this with a grain of salt, but if I were you I'd stick to the fixed stock, just based on the typical external durability of TM's guns (plus the kind of weak design of the under folding stock to begin with).
Also you get a lot more stock options if you ever want to change.
I just found out that a German webshop sells a SAR10 replica which is compatible with TM VSR-10 parts. Would this be a decent starter since this would be cheaper than getting the JG BAR-10 from China.
Pretty much any rifle that is 100% VSR10 compatible will be able to be turned in to the same level of rifle as an upped marui. Its all about tuning with spring snipers.
Just make damn sure it's 100% compatibility, some of them (the AGM MP001 comes to mind) are off by millimeters in a lot of parts so you lose compatibility where it matters and end up with a shit gun.

Not that I have anything against the AGM MP001, I loved mine, just don't expect it to take every single VSR part you throw at it.

Last question then I'm out of your hair. Cybergun or JG? I can get the Cybergun version about 30 euro's cheaper. Thank you for the advice.
I'd say JG. Cybergun is usually something to avoid.
Yup JG all the way. Especially if you're still looking at VSR rifles.

Also you've been a million times better than most of the new posters here recently so we're happy to answer questions.
Yeah for reals, youre being a really excellent poster and we would be happy to welcome you into IFAP c:
[QUOTE=MrSaphique;44524644]JG it is then, can't wait. :)[/QUOTE]
Post results when you get it and if you upgrade it. I love spring rifles.

Since the adviced parts are quite expensive, I'm going to start with some cheaper parts like a King Arms piston. But it'll take me some time to upgrade. :)
Should make a build thread! I like seeing how guys upgrade their spring sniper rifles

Honestly as long at you get one that's reinforced, you'll be fine. I was just listing the really high precision ones because a lot of people like them.
Also, make sure you upgrade your triggerbox and piston before your spring, otherwise you'll wear the sears out in a heartbeat and your rifle will fail on you mid-game.
I'm back again but this time with my current main replica. I bought the G&G GR4 G26 DST about a month ago and according to Gunfire where I bought the gun it comes with an M90 spring and shoots about 320 fps. However when I chrono'ed the rifle with a Xcortech chronograph and 0.2 gr HIDD bb's it shot 390! Does anyone have a clue about what's wrong? Note: The G&G F2000 of a friend of mine shot 290 that day so it could be the chronograph wasn't properly set. I don't really feel like replacing the spring because I think the chrono is just off.

Nooby question (but hey that's me) but what is the ideal adjustment I should be looking for when tuning the hop up of my gun? Should I be looking for a very small decline as the BBs shoots out? My mate suggested that he would adjust it so the BB curls ever so slightly upwards to give it just a bit of extra range.
Thoughts?

I've always set mine to fly as straight as possible for as long as porrible.

I have mine set to fly straight for the first half of its flight, then it very slightly rises before dropping.
Any of you guys familiar with the Serpa leg drop system? It confuses the shit out of me still.
Can you mount any Serpa holster to the leg drop platform or does it have to be compatible?
[editline]14th April 2014[/editline]
Never mind, answered my own question - Serpa leg drop platforms work with Serpa CQC and Carbon Fiber holsters, for anyone else wondering.
Don't get serpa, especially for dropleg. They squeak and creek every time you move. Get a kydex, GCode or Safariland if you can.
Shit, really? That's a bummer. For my impression the Safariland is my only other option and it's fucking expensive. Looks like I'm saving up, in that case.
[editline]14th April 2014[/editline]
oh jk they're actually only like 40 bucks more on ebay that's not so bad.
And frankly if some service branches banned Serpa holsters because if dirt and jamming the release mechanism I don't mind making the switch to Safariland, they seem much more coolguy nowadays anyway.
If you've got a Glock, the Crye Gun [del]Clip[/del] [del]Magazine[/del] Clip seems pretty good.
But be warned that Marui Glocks are a bit of a tight fit in Crye Gun Clips because they're about 1-2mm wider than real-steel.
They do fit though, and if you've got a dremel or even some wet-or-dry paper you can make it fit like a glove.
also funfact, 1911's/hicapa's with rounded triggerguards go right in gunclips without even opening them. You can just put it on like a normal holster and its retained perfectly fine through friction. after I sold my ATP (which I bought it for) I used the gunclip as a holster for my KP08 until I think I sold it

I believe they are.

What's the diff with WE Glocks? I've got a WE G26C Advance and was interested in maybe getting a holster for it if I decide against selling it.
