you need a holster made for a .45 glock because the slide is a bit wider
I'm back again but this time with my current main replica. I bought the G&G GR4 G26 DST about a month ago and according to Gunfire where I bought the gun it comes with an M90 spring and shoots about 320 fps. However when I chrono'ed the rifle with a Xcortech chronograph and 0.2 gr HIDD bb's it shot 390! Does anyone have a clue about what's wrong? Note: The G&G F2000 of a friend of mine shot 290 that day so it could be the chronograph wasn't properly set. I don't really feel like replacing the spring because I think the chrono is just off. http://gunfire.pl/product-eng-1152196973-Combat-Machine-GR4-G26-PBB-carbine-replica-SAND.html
To me it sounds like a the chrono isn't set right. Or they used different weighted BB's on the website?
What is everyone's opinion on wearing a balaclava as lower face protection? Currently I use a Shemagh but because I only tie it to protect my neck and lower face, the knot becomes quite loose and often I'm finding myself having to really tighten it. Plus it rubs against my lips as I breath and talk so it makes them quite dry and chapped. Hence why I'd rather use a balaclava because I wouldn't need to worry about it loosening but I was just wondering how much protection it offers? I don't care about how much reduction there is in pain but more so I'd like to keep my teeth.
Balaclavas will do nothing to help you keep your teeth, but are very comfortable and nice to wear, especially if you get one made of new materials.
dont get a wool balaclava though. itchy and hot and all around uncomfortable. Id imagine neoprene ones would be very comfortable though going on how my neoprene neck gaiter is
I was thinking of a neoprene-mesh mask hybrid that would be pretty cool. Basically a mesh lower that only covers the nose and mouth (like a respirator) and the cheeks covered by a neoprene material with velcro straps going around the back. Combines the benefit of both: ventilation and BB protection for the nose and mouth by the mesh, and flexible yet breathable covering for the cheeks that still allows a good cheekweld from the neoprene (a major complaint of the traditional entire-mesh lower mask). How viable would something like this be? [editline]15th April 2014[/editline] mspaint concept
that looks like some bdsm gear
optional lateral forehead strap for maximum Bane imitation too
What's the difference between all the different "Types" of FAST helmet? Looking around I see "MICH Ballistic Type" "PJ Type" and "BJ Type"
There are (I think) four kinds Ballistic: solid helmet, no holes Carbon: has sort of diamond shaped holes Basejump: has rounded holes Maritime: no idea
There are (I think) four kinds Ballistic: solid helmet, no holes Carbon: has sort of diamond shaped holes Basejump: has rounded holes Maritime: no idea
maritime goes higher up on the ears
"BJ Type"
hueheuheueuh
aw late snip
Speaking of helmets, I love the Team Wendy Exfil. The subtle angled contour is nice, like the VLTOR type upper receiver in it's robust blocky-ness, further accentuated by the triangular holes. (And if they made an airsoft replica).
http://www.ebairsoft.com/bump-helmet-tb742-p-7204.html [editline]16th April 2014[/editline] Unless you mean a replica of a version with arc rails in which case, just get a helmet with arc rails and use your imagination heueue
I've heard the real one is shit for the price
http://www.ebairsoft.com/bump-helmet-tb742-p-7204.html
Oh wow those burrs on the triangle cutouts are huge. China quality plastic typical. I don't really see myself running a helmet anyways, I have absolutely nothing to put on it.
I use my helmet like a PC for my head. Literally I carry almost the same amount of shit on my helmet as I do in my vest. It's actually pretty fucking dumb but it looks cool as fuck.
To me it sounds like a the chrono isn't set right. Or they used different weighted BB's on the website?
My thoughts exactly, I'm just going to shove a M105 spring in and they can go f themselves. :p
As you guys said that a balaclava wouldn't be very good protection. What about Neoprene mask such as this? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Black-Warm-Neoprene-Neck-Thermal-Face-Mask-Bike-Motorcycle-Ski-Snowboard-UK-/310817509083?pt=UK_Helmets_Headwear_Balaclavas_Masks_Tubes&hash=item485e2acedb I heard that the material they are made from (Neoprene hurr) actually can protect you again BB shots to the mouth/teeth. Thoughts? Downside is that I do know that you can get very hot in them.
I have a neopryne face mask. It's pretty good for protection but I wouldn't exactly call it comfortable [editline]17th April 2014[/editline] fog up your goggle really quickly too
Is it fine to ask for technical advice here? I'm having issues with my rifle, and I can't find any clues as to what it is
Is it fine to ask for technical advice here? I'm having issues with my rifle, and I can't find any clues as to what it is
you would have to elaborate on that :v:
you would have to elaborate on that :v:
If you guys don't mind, then here I go TL;DR for the lazy : AEG has a very low RoF, not a battery issue My AEG has been trough an inactivity period, which lasted for about two months (in which I did not fire the weapon at all) Upon picking it up again recently, I noticed that the rate of fire has definitely taken a strong hit (for the worse, obviously). Even with an 11.8v it is not as fast as it should be. I usually run a 7.4v LiPo, so go figure. First thing I did was obviously test the rifle with different batteries. Tested it with a fully charged 7.4v and an 11.8v, which has helped me understand that it is not a battery issue So here I am. I have absolutely no idea as to what it could be. Bad lubrification? Maybe rusted internals? I have no clue. My AEG has not been exposed to water. I have kept it stored in an appropriate place. If anyone knows what it could be, I'd really appreciate you sharing your knowledge
Hi, my name is GREN EYGS N HAM, and I am an idiot. What can I do to mount a PSO-1 scope designed for SVD rails on an AK rail? [editline]17th April 2014[/editline] Ok I got the scope on now but I can't put the topcover on because the diode plug is in the way. FUHKC+
you're supposed to leave the top cover on while putting on the optic :I either take out the diode like guys with NPO 9x39s do or replace the mount base (it's screw mounted and detachable) with an AK one (google for it, i'm on a school network)
Can't leave the top cover on, the scope gets stuck at an angle and cannot be slid along the rail. And I can't switch out the mount because its a chinashit one-piece mold. Welp.
who wants to join my buyer remorse of not-fitting ak accessories club
