CVC and PASGT
Oh, shit. I've got a few helmet sizing charts but none of them are for those.
So i've been shooting my BAR10 across the lake just to see how far I could make it reach, and it seems that the hopup does nothing. The difference between off and fully on is maybe 10 feet. Suggestions, suspicions?
Check the hop up nub, between the hop arm and the bucking. Sometimes they're missing/too soft/seated improperly, which makes the hop up highly ineffective or useless entirely. [editline]20th April 2014[/editline] After a little research, I also read that the BAR-10 has a kind of loose hop arm, which obviously causes it to lose tension on the bucking. Could also be your problem.
I think the dangerwerx arm is supposed to fix that problem
My next purchase shall be facial pritection. Already run eyepro, but I'd like something for my mouth area. Suggestiins?
My next purchase shall be facial pritection. Already run eyepro, but I'd like something for my mouth area. Suggestiins?
Mesh half mask lower or shemagh or neoprene mask. It's really up to you, some people like one more than the other. I personally run a mesh half mask (the kind without ear protection since the added bulk is unnecessary) since it provides the best teeth protection and I had a lot of ortho work so I'd like to keep them. Only downside to mesh lower is you might have a harder time getting a good cheekweld with it on but I've just gotten used to it doesn't really bother me much. Just need to spend a few minutes bending to mold to your face shape.
So since I have both m81 and DCU sets, I was thinking about making a mittenfap load out, and was wondering if a Smersh would be a suitable replacement for the standard ALICE/m56 setup. Also, since there is a mittenfap loadout, is there any type of califap loadout? Thanks for any input.
smersh is cool yeh
mmmmmm smersh
So my AEG suddenly stopped firing with a battery that was charged just 5 minutes before, at first it just made a low mechanical clinking sound I guess? Then I took it home, popped it open plopped the gears out and back in. Tested the motor independently, seems to be strong enough to flip itself around when I pull the trigger. I wiggled the gears from the bottom with the motor out, I could move them a little bit so obviously the gears aren't gummed up. Should I go with my motor becoming a weakling or is there something else I should troubleshoot for?
I actually have the same problem, havent got the time to fix it but it is a weak motor. So get a good motor and run lipos if you dont already.
Was thinking of getting a flash light to add to my gun for possible night games and dark indoor CQB areas. But I have no idea which to get, a friend suggested UltraFire to me. He mentioned it was a clone of Surefire but a lot cheaper. I did some searches and YouTube comparisons and figure that this one seems alright: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/190975377759?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Now I do understand that with these clone brands that apparently the stated lumens aren't exactly true but watching some YouTube videos on them I figure that they seem to be pretty decent in terms of brightness. I just wanted to double check it here first by people with more experience than me. Unless there are other flash lights you can recommend that are around £10-20. Thanks.
I'd recommend Led Lenser. I've got one of their flashlights and it's basically a miniature fucking sun. Their lower end models are still extremely good and very cheap.
hey guys what is a good second gun to buy? I will probably end up buying an m4a1 AEG, so can I get any tips of what make or model to buy? I will be painting it and adding accessories to it like a reflex? red dot sight, laser etc. I'm going to be selling my JG G36C and a cheap piece of crap m1911a1 to get the main cash to buy this gun so please try suggest something cheapish that will still perform good? thanks:pwn:
I'd say a Combat Machine. Its cheap, it preforms well, and its always a good idea to have an AR platform since you can do so much to it external and internally
G&G Combat Machine series are wonderful guns for the price.
Yup, G&G Combat Machine is the go-to M4 for cheap and reliable. Try to get a model without electric blowback though.
Anyone know a place that makes custom combat shirts? Like, where I could send in all the fabric and just have them sew it for me? I'm thinking of having a combat shirt made with a foliage color torso and alpha green sleeves so I have a warm weather top that matches my cold weather PCU.
Untac and liberty tree tac. Unconventional tactical quoted me like $65 to do a combat shirt.
Sorry if this is the wrong place, I'm going to buy an airsoft gun to use with my friends and I'm not sure if there's any kind of brand I should watch out for. These are among the brands I can get at a site here in Sweden. And two brands called Dboys & Umarex.
entirely depends on what kind of gun you want to buy
entirely depends on what kind of gun you want to buy
This is what i've been looking at. second one and fourth one are the best keep in mind mags for the former are much more readily available than for the latter [editline]21st April 2014[/editline] everything else you listed is mediocre at absolute best

Doesn't mention much except it's for AK rifles but I don't know if different brand AKs use different design on the mags.
http://rodastjarnan.com/airsoft/airsoft/cyma-040c-ak74m-11620 55 Kr more expensive, but it's in stock so you're sure to get it. Also Rödastjärnan is a really neat store, thye have a large selection of everything you'd need and they've got really good prices when it comes to magazines and such small things. Avoid Frysen.nu. They've got the biggest hardon for classic army and pushes it like no tomorrow while overpricing everything. They have a few unique things though that are rarely seen in other Swedish stores.

I'll check guns on Rödastjärnan and post them.
yes, but better to get http://www.strikerairsoft.se/tillbehor/magasin/gevar/cyma-ak47-magasin-metal-150-rnds.html or http://www.strikerairsoft.se/tillbehor/magasin/gevar/cyma-ak74-plastmagasin-150-rnds.html plus some of http://www.strikerairsoft.se/kulor-drivmedel/ovrigt/firepower-speedloader.html unless you want to be "that guy" with the maraca mags
Most of the guns we use (my friends and i) when we have our games in the woods are pretty much maracas anyway but I'll consider it since I was annoyed by it. Any big differences between http://rodastjarnan.com/airsoft/airsoft/cyma-031-ak74m-11718 http://rodastjarnan.com/airsoft/airsoft/cyma-040c-ak74m-11620 There's like $100 difference but I Don't see much difference except battery type, weight, mag size and some design type "TM" and "VFC" which I don't know what it is tbh. Also I like G3's, are these bad? http://rodastjarnan.com/airsoft/airsoft/jing-gong-g3a3-jg100-ak4-22107 (It appear to be made in China which might be bad quality but since I don't know anything about brands in airsoft it doesn't say much)
Untac and liberty tree tac. Unconventional tactical quoted me like $65 to do a combat shirt.
That's perfect. I'm hoping I can get my hands on another PCU eventually and (though it breaks my heart to do it) have them cut it up and turn it into a combat shirt with a foliage color base.
Get the vfc design ak, it is much more reliable and we'll built than the tm design
you'll be much more satisfied with the 040c unless you have a massive hardon for G3s no matter the quality for some reason
I was wondering, would this barrel fit a BAR-10? And what does a 70 degree packing mean? I've seen different degrees but no idea what it means. :P
