also long/10 though if you didn't get that you're missing the point of the gun
I was wondering, would this barrel fit a BAR-10? And what does a 70 degree packing mean?
I've seen different degrees but no idea what it means. :P
That depends. What barrel are you referring to?
Hey, I already asked a while back, but I was wondering if anybody has an opinion on spring revolvers. It seems like revolvers and shotguns are the only type of guns for which spring powerplants make sense, and I've heard good things about the latter, but nothing much about the former. Can't seem to find any in Canada either.
Most people see them more as plinkers. FPS runs a little low and the shells are inconvenient. If you're just looking to shoot targets or whatever they're good fun, but in my experience, between the shells and the painfully low FPS they're less than effective in a match.

And no, I'm not FPS-mongering, but you need a certain amount of speed behind your round to have it reach it's target in a timely fashion.

Thoughts on the Baofeng UV-5R? I see a lot of people using them. What's the advantage of them over something similar?
Where can I get some tiny o-rings for some fill valves? I've checked at some hardware stores but they didn't have it in the size I need

No, you need a VSR cut barrel, that one is AEG cut. Lemme see if I can find a VSR cut.

someone here has a link to either mmc or amazon 100 bulk pack for the same price

http://en.safarasoftair.com/lonex-canna-6-03mm-in-acciaio-per-vsr10 Found this one too(gonna order a guncase there soon) that should do the trick.
There ya go. General consensus about that one is pretty good. I meant to recommend a similar one but I didn't know what would be available to you based on your location.
Anyone used or know what the general sentiment toward the Eagle Industries War Belt is?

I have it and love it. Biscotti Boy says it needs a subload but i have no problems with mine.
Anyone mind telling me what this thing is?

It was on the inside of my hi-cap mag. I was shaking it around and I thought it was a stray BB but when I opened it up it was this thing. I removed it, and the magazine still works and it doesn't really feel like it has any real use.
So what is it? :v:
it's a thing that attaches to the axle of the winding wheel
i honestly have no idea what it is, counterweight?
yep, its a counter weight.
it's a thing that attaches to the axle of the winding wheel

Yeh, I saw where it was attached, just couldn't figure out what use it was serving
I mean it falls off and the winding wheel is wedged in there anyway and isn't going to fall out
I just kinda took it out because it was making a lot of rattling noises. v:v:v
I seem to find a lot of weird parts that don't serve any purpose. When I was disassembling my M4 a tiny spring fell out and I couldn't find where to put it, but when I assembled everything again it all still worked perfectly and I still don't know what the mystery spring is for

Yeah, Herf likes his. Mine was a huge bitch because, even though I had a ton of weight on it, without a dropleg holster and platform mounted it would ride up and start flopping around like a mentally disadvantaged folk at the slightest hint of me breaking into anything more than a brisk walk. Not only that but it would fucking rotate around and end up 90 degrees turned around my waist if the weight wasn't distributed with perfect symmetry.
So the subload was the only way to convince it to cooperate, and while suspenders can keep it from rotating it won't keep them from riding up. Perhaps I have abnormal hip/waist geometry, who knows.
I'm tempted to sell my PT helmet and get a MICH 2000 w/ surpat helm cover for a (very) loose GROM impression Ive been building.

Any reccomendations for MICH replicas? Ive had eyes on the airsoft-club ones.
Also would drilling air vents be a bad idea? Its going to be under a cover so looks arent an issue.
Okay so, gonna look like a total tool now, but got some LiPo batteries for my M4, realized I don't know jack shit about charging LiPo batteries. I got a charger, but I just want to make sure this thing is plugged in right so I don't like, accidentally burn down my apartment.

This look right? :v:
You only use the shorter wire for charging
assuming it's a proper balance charger the tamiya lead is for balancing
the quality of that thing looks really iffy to me though
The words "swiss arms" on anything is cause for alarm.
Ok, I have the chance to buy a
STAR Scar-L with a GL
or
A VFC Scar-L
for about the same price. I've heard that the internals on the STAR are not so good, especially compared to the newest VFCs. The VFC is worth 20$ more that this star, so my question is, which one should I choose?
I only will be playing small games with my friends or local people (most likely) so I don't need some super high tech aeg, but on the other hand I've heard that a lot of upgrading needs to be put into the STAR to make it... good.
Please help before I make the wrong choice and regret it forever (Until I forget about my regret at least)

The STAR could easily have a plastic gearbox, but even if it doesn't it will still have bad internals, and STAR externals are also far worse than VFC. The grenade launcher doesn't make the deal worthwhile, get the VFC.
vfc
vfc internals are still kinda shitball but ares/star is junk
nice looking junk but junk, from an awful company to boot
wait though, is this an Ares/STAR or a pre-Ares STAR? because pre-Ares STAR stuff is actually p. good. ex. STAR FNC, dat 3rb
