I already own 5 green labels, I was looking for anywhere that still had legit PTS
Real PTS is hard to find and if you find they're quite expensive. Ehobby has some.
Oddly enough Evike seems to have some in stock for $32. A bit more than the $25 my local shop had them for about a year ago.
Anyone familiar with Forcecore? Gunfire.pl has a VSS VAL available for pre-order by them, I've been looking for one since I played Stalker and this one is only €161,71.
Anyone know good places to get ALICE webbing besides Ebay? The set i have right now is all repro stuff with the exception of one or two of the pouches and i'd like to get some legit stuff to replace it.
I have nothing against Ebay, i just was wondering if anywhere is cheaper.
Varusteleka sells a basic ALICE set, but I dunno if it'd be cheaper than ebay, plus it only comes with two mag pouches
My G&P M16A1 comes in tomorrow, and HGA's tech charges a flat rate of 30$ for whatever I want him to install in it.
6.03mm Tightbore, G&G green hop up bucking, and a shim job sound alright?
Or is there anything else I should add?

There's this tiny airsoft shop about 5 minutes from my house that does "flat rate" tech work. Their price is $25 for an estimate, then $75 to open the gearbox, then $50 an hour (one hour minimum) plus parts. Their flat rate is seriously $150 minimum to install a part. Just remembered that when you said flat rate lol.
The Tech at HGA has become a friend of Mousecop and I's and used to work for G&G.
He charges 30$ plus whatever parts you want installed, I think it's a pretty good deal and thus I let them do all of the work on my AEGs.
Hell, he even worked on my Socom 16, which he previously told me was the one gun he wouldn't work on.
Brb, buying a Socom 16 and lots of upgrades just for Willi.
I wish I could find a tech who'd get shit done for that cheap. Between the tech work itself and the endless tuning and perfecting that comes afterward, I just don't have time to work on my own guns anymore. Aside from the WOC and SVD because they're easy.
I want to do some cheap and small tweaks to my SR. I just feel the need to fiddle with things. I'm gonna flat hop it, but what else should I do? I'd love ideas for external changes, too.

Tristen at EOA is pretty cheap AFAIK.
I like it they way it is externally. you have everything you need to be effective in airsoft, and adding anything else is just going to make it heavier.

I was thinking more changing than adding. Like a muzzle break might look cooler than the flash hider, or some KAC irons instead of MBUS, or other things like that.

If I were going to add anything to that it would just be a FTS magnifier (if you don't mind looking like CoD kiddie that is) so you have better visual at range.

Sounds like we're talking about hookers.
KAC irons
KAC forever
KAC irons, M952v / Scout Light / PEQ, BattleComp, paint
Internals- make it shoot forever. G&G Green, Flat Hop / Experiment with R-Hop, Prommy 6.03, Sorbo, polish piston rails, and a really really torquey motor.

Considering KAC irons, I'm happy with my light, not getting a peq, BattleComp's are shitty, and I'm not painting because that ruins it.
Will take guts recommendations in to consideration. I've already got a JG Blue in it, so thats nice.
These are still my favorite sights for modern AR's:

Anybody know what these jackets are called? I was reading a thread on a bushcraft forum about winter jackets and a guy posted this, he traded a maglite for it with a Russian soldier when he was in Bosnia apparently.

Kinda like the rear sight that Rust (yeah I know) uses on its left handed/mirrored M4.

I can imagine some rust kiddies leaking into 393 and saying they want to build "the rust m4". I think we're safe so far.
Oh jesus it's like when MW2 spawned that wave of "MW2 Styled M4"s with tan LE stocks, tan rail covers, s-system RISs and ACOGS.
god that game ruined s-systems for me forever
i used to think they looked kind of neat
At least there's the CASV rail for something similar that isn't too overdone (I hope).
Oh god so many different sorbo pads
How do i know which is right for me?
"First chose the hardness that fits your application. It is recommended to use 70 duro for guns over 400 FPS and 40 duro for guns under 400 FPS. This is actually more of a suggestion as using 40 duro in a 400+ FPS gun will be quieter than a 70 and reduce shock load more but at the cost of longevity"

and always go for 1/4 inch thickness
also measure how far the piston needs to be pushed back in order to engage the sector w/correct angle to find out the thickness you need
[editline]1st May 2014[/editline]
thanks for nothing fish
my personal PKM needed a 1/4 in w/lonex CH and PH and SHS piston
Durf, I'd find a more highspeed flashlight first, PEQ if you're supposed to be any military/paramilitary highspeed guy (gotta do it it's the rules) KAC irons would be cool, and of course I'm a crane stock whore so get a crane stock for me.
Not much else you can do besides dust it for the ultimate operationing.
Do WA system M4 GBBRs have mil spec or comercial spec buffer tubes?
