I didnt buy mini deans leads because Im a dumbass. Would balancing with a mini deans to mini tamiya adaptor and the normal balancing cable be a dumb idea?
like for charging a lipo? nah it should be just fine.
words
I modify parts and adjust to my liking. I teflon tape all air seals, replace all grease, stretch out the piston head oring or buy a new one, shimming, dremmeling as necessary for a perfect fit, etc... And I have found that with lonex parts, Ive never had to modify or adjust them to get the performance I want. Lonex parts without modification have worked better for me than mix and match parts with mods and adjustments. I get what youre saying, but I have just found that personally, the few extra bucks I spend on lonex parts is worth the hassle it saves me from repeatedly opening up a gun and tinkering with it. Like, Lonex parts are hardly more expensive than other brands while being a massive boost in quality, so I just see them as the best balance between cost and performance. You can absolutely buy slightly cheaper parts to replace your compression parts and modify them so that they perform just as good as Lonex parts. but they probably wont last as long, and I just dont think the hassle is worth the $20 collective dollars you save And yeah, any metal spring guide will do. Looking back i dont know why I said you needed a really nice one. I was probably really tired.
So I can finally have this saved somewhere, (this is mostly for notrabies) what is needed to get a Galaxy MP5K shooting at near RS SVD distances?

Well... now I feel sad. Really sad. All I wanned to do was change the hop op on my AUG. Unfortunetly, when I opened the darn thing up, the hop up unit, the bucking and the barrel were all full of grease. There is also grease on the nozzle and from what I can tell, there is also grease on the piston head... This would explain why I lost so much of my FPS... Would you guys suggest I take the GB to a Tech to be opened and cleaned? Or should I just clean the parts (barrel, bucking, hop unit) and put them back in the gun? :\
Would you guys suggest a Cyma 31 AK-74? [editline]2nd May 2014[/editline] Or a 39?
How's this: http://gunfire.pl/product-eng-1152191234-SC-01-Replica.html?rec=101801106 For a couple of first-timers? Ignore the FPS, it's downgradable to 350. The legal limit here.

You could get a much better performer for the same cost, but if the Mk16 is your thing, then the externals are solid and it uses a standard gearbox so it can be upgraded. I rather liked the one I had. As I said though, performance is not one of it's strong points.
What do you mean with performance? What makes this one perform less well?
Dboys isn't the best at making V.2 gearboxes. It'll be of quality that is beneath that of companies like G&G, Certain JG's and CYMA's, and other budget guns. The rate of fire won't be quite as high, the accuracy won't be quite as good, It'll be a little louder than other guns, the motor will get hotter with less shooting, and other differences like that. Its just a lower quality product. It still performed perfectly fine for me, and I loved it until I realized how good the G&G I got was. I regret selling it though, despite the subpar performance. Its a very neat looking gun, and the performance wasn't that bad.
Got my G&P M16A1. What's the best way to go about removing the "Made in Hong Kong" and orange flash hider?
Would you guys suggest a Cyma 31 AK-74? [editline]2nd May 2014[/editline] Or a 39?
If you can, go with a CM 047/048 instead much better than the 03's
not an 047 an 040(well and 048 too) is what you want
How about this one? http://gunfire.pl/product-eng-1152200818-CM008-assault-rifle-replica-black.html
you could definitely do better
Got my G&P M16A1. What's the best way to go about removing the "Made in Hong Kong" and orange flash hider?
Heat it for a few minutes with a hair dryer to soften the glue, then twist off with pliers.
This might be the wrong place for it, but what are some comfortable, lightweight alternatives to USGI Army boots? That would still be in regulation with the US Army? I'm getting blisters with them and they are starting to really wear down.
Hiking boots are the best, but as far as actual like 8" boots goes, I've heard Bates and Converse are good.
If you're willing to pay more, the Nike Special Field is also good. Has Nike Free soles so it's more flexible and easier to run/maneuver in while still being rugged. [editline]2nd May 2014[/editline] this post sponsored by Nike® Just Do It.
Merrells, Converse (Now Reebok), Nike Special Field, Bates, and Brahmas (No longer available in combat/military pattern)
For the record I really like my Asolos.
Got my G&P M16A1. What's the best way to go about removing the "Made in Hong Kong" and orange flash hider?
Nonononono do what I did and spray paint+dremel it so it looks like a legit A1 birdcage [editline]2nd May 2014[/editline] Pics when I get home
Any thoughts about my GB? https://imgur.com/a/mKMdh#dScHQ3R
So Modify is a pretty good parts manufacture right? Is this really a necessary upgrade? I don't think I've seen many trigger switch upgrade parts around. How would this compare to just a stock one?

I'm sorry if I'm spamming but I heard a lot of good things about this one: http://gunfire.pl/product-eng-1152201407-Replika-karabinka-GR15-Raider.html Good/bad?
If you can, go with a CM 047/048 instead much better than the 03's
Sadly I can't get those, shipping would cost more than the gun itself. I know they're better than 03's, but 03's aren't bad, right?
I'm sorry if I'm spamming but I heard a lot of good things about this one: http://gunfire.pl/product-eng-1152201407-Replika-karabinka-GR15-Raider.html Good/bad?
I've had one of these for almost 2 years now it held up fine. Only suggestion would be to get the one that doesnt have the blowback. It doesnt normally affect the compression that much, but it can, and it also makes disassembly a lot harder once you get there down the road. Also would want to look into getting a new motor since the stock one is the weakest part of it, but still serviceable. Not that important that you need to do it right away, but something to keep in mind
Sadly I can't get those, shipping would cost more than the gun itself. I know they're better than 03's, but 03's aren't bad, right?
they aren't bad but the 040(8) is significantly better
I'm thinking of painting my gun. The outside is mostly polymer. What do I need to know to make the paint stick properly and make it look as good as possible? I mostly play woodland areas so I'm thinking of using leaves to get a nice pattern.
