Hey BiscuitBro, you're the expert on PCUs around here. Would you say the ORC or the Patagonia one is better/cooler?
Aw, I'm flattered. The ORC is definitely 'cooler' because you don't really see anyone wearing the Patagonia, and I've never seen the Patagonia sell well either.
As for quality, though, I cannot say. I have almost no experience with the Patagonia because I've never bothered with them.
Just throwing this out there but the VFC HK416 hicaps will feed pretty much the whole 300 round reservoir on a single wind
Umarex or Marushin recently released a CO2 version which shoots about 320 fps or something like that.

Currently I got a KJW Glock 27, now I was thinking of getting a Glock 27 from WE(real engravings). Does the WE have a better performance (shoots 300 vs 250 fps from KJW) and will it take the KJW magazines?
Yeah, now if only I could find the Marushin one here since it can't be imported.

Sorry, can't help there. Just told you about the other Five-Seven I knew about.
mags will fit
from my EXTREMELY limited experience KJW glocks are kinda lackluster compared to WE but why are you getting another one
Real engravings, different colour and higher fps. Also I read a lot about the quality of WE. And I love baby glocks.
Does anyone know if you can buy just the folding stock from the Ares MSR?
After,
I want to know if it's possible (not if its hard or not, I know I wont be able to do it) to use it to replace the FS on the SCAR-H SSR (Which I bought cheap on ebay)
Zao, wanna hit EOA Sunday for gas gun night?
Definitely do. Only problem is that the charging handle on my WOC just shattered into 3 pieces and my mags have no O-rings. If I can get my hands on some O-rings and a new charging handle by then, then I'm definitely down to go.

Well it isn't strictly gas guns until the last three hours. If you've got a gun available at all, we should try and do it.
I can pick up a real steel charging handle at the range and mod it to fit my WOC (calling Proffrink?) and I can get some O-rings...somewhere. Killer, you knew a good place for them right?
mcmaster carr
They have a shitload of O-rings, any ideas as to which one works for fill valves?
9396K101 and 9396K102
thx bby
Yep, real steel will fit with a bit of effort on your end.

First post (and there's plenty like it on the gasguns forum) where he talks about putting your plastic buffer at the front end so as to not damage your BCG. Also, you'll want to make damn sure there's about 2-3mm of give in the handle (i.e., when you pull it back, the first 2-3mm are not in contact with the bolt carrier itself, but are free to move around). If you don't do that, you run the risk of your bolt smashing into the front of your charging handle every time it cycles, and that's a sure-fire way to break your handle.
But yeh, shave the 'wings' off, and file anywhere where there's 'too much' contact and you'll be golden.
Hmm I want to upgrade accuracy and wondered if tightbore really help and what hop-up? The things I see mostly are r-hop, maple leaf and firefly? Everyone on yt is telling something else!
This is a long shot, but is there any fields that anyone knows about in the sacramento area?
I want to get into the wonderful world of GBBRs. I feel like I should start with a DMR/scout rifle. I have narrowed it down to the KJW 10/22 or I could get a KJW 700 and HPA tap it (idk how to do that. Make my decision IFAP.
GBBR's are bad for things like that. They have very poor consistency compared to other platforms.
HPA tapped KJW 700s are fucking sweet for consistency though
Foos has something like that, have to ask him
Are you looking for a DMR in performance or just looks? I'd probably do the 10/22 over the 700 just because its probably gonna be cheaper, semi-auto is extremely helpful, and the magazine size/availability is very handy.
If you want to use an externally rigged sniper you really need to be a sniper, as you won't have much more range or accuracy than a regular AEG and you'll be brutally outplayed because of your limitations.
Also be aware that you're not gonna want to half ass either of these, both need parts and practice to be worth your time, the 700 even more so than the carbine.
Also, speaking of sweet cheap GBBRs this exists too, and since you're in Canada the CO2 should be beneficial: http://redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/Classic_Rifles_Marushin_Marushin_M1_Carbine_6mm_CO2_Plastic_Stock_Wooden_Look_Version_Export_version.htm
I have a question about ranks and insignias on my BDU's are my dads rank, branch of the army and unit type. Should I remove these to prevent "stolen valor" or does it matter?

Better to avoid the hassle if anyone asks/is bothered by it.

If it's your dad's I'd just tell people to fuck off if they give you trouble
Hmm I want to upgrade accuracy and wondered if tightbore really help
TBs don't generally help accuracy - I'm talking 6.01 and 6.02s (infact, they hinder in some cases). They do tend to raise your FPS by 15-20, but it just depends. If you're not worried about your FPS as much (and you shouldn't be), then you're talking the right course my looking into decent hop-up units. I'm sure someone here would be able to comment more reliably than I, however.
rule of thumb .01-.02 to boost fps .03-.05 to boost accuracy .23 if you're p* i guess
.30s for ultimate accuracy if you want to sacrifice velocity, 340 or so if you're shooting 400 but your gun will be a laser if you have a decent barrel set up and compression
I think we're randomly switching from barrel diameter to BB weight and oh god wat
Oh in which case I run 6.02 in my only gat right now, but in most cases with barrels, you want a much lower tolerance when the barrel is machined rather than a TBB, I'd much rather run a 6.05 +/- .001 than a 6.02 +/- .005
Selling my combat machine so I can buy a Prowin hopup unit and tightbore for my M16A1.
The stock hop up keeps pissing me off because 1/4th of the time I pull the trigger it'll just start coughing up BB's as opposed to actually shooting them.
The tech even attempted to fix this problem free of charge by using some O-rings to hold everything in place better.
Do you think this is a good decision?
Prowin hop G&G bucking prommy TB go
ah I think i get it. And don't worry I know fps isn't important and about the hop-up? (nevermind..)
