I have really large profile goggles, have to wear them because of my glasses (whose frame sticks out a lot) From my eye to the very outside of the goggle it's about 2" [editline]3rd May 2013[/editline] Obviously aware, just trying to explain that it's probably not possible for me to use the average 4x optic because of the goggles [editline]3rd May 2013[/editline] Virtually every 4x optic I've read about has an eye relief of 1.5" (I was looking for an elcan c79/m145 sort of thing and they're all 4x) and I just can't get my eye close enough for that with the goggles I wear (unless I want to shell out way more money for lower profile goggles and contacts) Regardless, do you guys have any suggestions for non magnified optics or optics with at least 3-4" of eye relief?
what goggles do you use because with my ess landops and the kind of brassguard that covers the ears i can use my g36 integrated optic that has the worst eye relief in the world the G&P 4x acog, ebairsoft/ACM C79 (large front lens) and acm 4x and g&g specterdrs all have fantastic eye relief
g&g specterdrs all have fantastic eye relief
Hnnngg now I want it even more. Worth the ~$180?

'fantastic' isn't really enough.
I'd recommend upgrading your eyepro before upgrading your optics.
What's wrong with the mask? It's paintball rated (field only allows paintball/ballistic rated eye pro) and I've been hit on the goggles a few times and it's never scratched or marked the lens. It's also pretty hard to find goggles that fit around my glasses. [editline]abc, 123[/editline] Besides, field rules are pretty strict here, if you shoot someone in the head at or under 10ft you'll likely banned from the field for life. DMRs and snipers have 60ft and 100ft MEDs and no one shoots hotter than 350-380 here (and under 40ft it's semi only, center of mass shots only again).
Is rain okay to play in with an AEG?
A little rain isn't going to wreck your gun. Weather isn't great where I live (it rains pretty often) and my gun's fine.

Land ops are pretty amazing and dirt cheap too.
Would buying ESS Profile Asian-Fits be perpetuating the stereotype?
These? Olive Drap Almost as good as Coyote Tab
Would buying ESS Profile Asian-Fits be perpetuating the stereotype?
How's that a stereotype? Asians tend to have different facial features than Caucasians. It's not a stereotype any more than the idea that people of African descent have dark skin, it's just a physiological trend based on heredity. If the 'Asian-fit' ones will work for you, then use them.
I need to buy some sort of asian fit goggles. its not that my face is wide, my head is just massive.

Does anyone know where I can get this BLACKHAWK chestrig for cheap? Everywhere I look charges over 40 bucks a piece.
This is the one you are looking for? And if you're doing a delta load out this is the one you want.

Opinions on JG G3?
Plastic but JG has solid internals.
As long as its reliable I couldn't care less about the body
Well that's the thing, it's reliable until you fall on it, trip, or smack it into a wall on accident. But if you don't have any hard knocks it'll do well. Although really it probably isn't that much less durable than a metal gun.
http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/AEG_AEP_G_P_G_P_XM177E1.htm So, I really want this, and could save up for it no problem. But, I'm incredibly skeptical of international shipping because I don't want to deal with any shit from customs. My questions are, Americans who have ordered from Red Wolf, what kind of shipping prices am I facing, and what kind of shipping time should I expect? And what are the chances of something happening to my precious cargo during shipping?
In Wisconsin/Minnesota we have a guy that will import guns for you at an extra like $20 and he can get anything in without customs issues. I mean price+shipping+$20. I know like UNCompany will cover trades with putty and such but I don't remember what RedWolf does.
$100-$120 shipping. Depends on where you live for delivery time. I live in New York and they shipped it on a plane right to Newark airport right in New York so it only took about 4 business days to get here. Customs was a breeze and I had my trades intact and the tip wasn't even permanently attached which is a requirement apparently. Overall very good 10/10 would order G&P again from Redwolf
So uh... a little bit of the loading nozzle on my TM DE broke off. It seems just to have been there as reinforcement and doesn't have anything to do with the actual function of the loading nozzle and there aren't any holes or cracks left by it breaking off. When I was firing my DE it stopped firing, I took out the mag and saw the little black shard fall out of the magwell, and after that it shot perfectly fine. Should I be worried?
$100-$120 shipping.
yup they gave me a $115 estimate for a G&P M16A4/M203 not sure how I got $85 estimated shipping for a TM Scar-L
yup they gave me a $115 estimate for a G&P M16A4/M203 not sure how I got $85 estimated shipping for a TM Scar-L
G&P Metal versus TM plastic can make for a large difference in weight. Considering my Glock 17 shipped from redwolf for like $30, that seems like it would do it. On topic: All of my experiences with Redwolf have been stellar, and I've never had any customs seizures, but a minority of people do experience them. Best way to get a shipping estimate is to just put the gun in your shopping cart and do a shipping estimate.
