I dunno anything about replica MICHs, but if you ever end up going for a real one, be aware they run small. I like to think I have an average size head, but I have to wear a large size MICH to fit more than 4 pads inside.

I have those. They're very obviously plastic, but they're cheap and very light and I havent had any feeding issues with any of them in the year or so I've had them

I love EF mids. Theyre very light, but also feel unbelievably solid. I would have no fear of throwing them straight in the air and letting them land.

MAG midcaps are always good, right? The MAG G36 mids i have are decent and i've heard positive things about their other mags. I hope their AR midcaps aren't the only shit ones they do, i have a box of 8 in the mail :v:

If you do go for EF midcaps, dont get ICS bbs. They are actually bigger than 6mm and will jam in the mag. Infact NEVER get ICS bbs. Not only did they jam in my EF mags, but they jammed in my USP mags, sticking in the mag and blocking the follower from going up. As soon as I started using my normal bbs again though there was no issue.

Yeah, I heard about that, never used or seen ICS bb's tho. I got a big stockpile of EF .25's and BB Bastard Ecos that I've somehow accumulated tho, so I'm ok there. I ordered the mags, plus some more magpuls in different colors c:

Are SIG(556) pistol grips interchangeable with regular M4/AR pistol grips? Do they mount the same way? Anyone know/have one they can try?

Yeah I tried googling and there's pretty much nothing about it. The real steel sig556 requires m4/ar grips to be modified to fit, and they do sell aftermarket grips that fit without modification but I don't know how any of that'll work with the motor needing to be in there and all. The SAW-style grip on the 556 is cool and all but it's pretty big and a lot of people complain about not being able to reach the mag release/controls without moving their hand, plus I have Asian hands so that doesn't help. Would an extended mag release button work? Do they make those?

You guys know more about AEGs than I do, so I figure I'll ask: My brother's MK17 will only fire when the selector is set between semi and full. When its actually on semi or full, the trigger just locks like when it's in safe. Any ideas as to what could cause that? The gears spin freely and it's never been disassembled.

sounds like a wonky selector switch/plate. take the gb out of the shell and test fire it to see if its the selector plate.
