I still own AEG's but they rarely get any use anymore. I've honestly been thinking about getting a ghk gbb gearbox for my M727, since thats the only AEG I still sort of use.

its eygs/jettans g&g (they bought the design from GHK) gbbox gbbboxes were designed in the dark ages of ghk (when they were using dbags receivers and pot metal) and are pbad

I posted that image on the IFAP facebook group. The GHK gbb box is quite possibly one of the worst things EVER known to the airsoft world.

Let the Dboys hate rain. Thinking of getting a Dboys HK416, do not fear, I will change the internals, mostly going for the externals. Now, even though I eventually will change the internals, how are they, compared to say JG or some other china brand? Is it like their other M4 style guns?

So what's causing all this shit to break on the KWA MP7s? Are they seriously that bad? And would a low-power/CQB bolt help any? I've been wanting a GBB MP7 for ages but if they break that much then fuuuuuuuck that.

Honestly, the only issue I've seen on KWA MP7s is that crack near the rear body pin. The one that Mousecop owns now was previously mine, and before that it belonged to another guy. I can vouch that we've all run this MP7 pretty damn hard, and the only issue as far as I know is the plastic chipping away by that rear pin, and this only began to develop around the time I was selling it to Mousecop. In terms of performance and reliability, it's one of the best stock guns I've ever used. And I would definitely consider buying another one.

It's because of the ejection port on the right side making that side a little bit weaker. All the recoil is forced on the two pins in the back and the body just can't handle it. At least I think that's why the crack always happens on the right side. Cqb bolt might help but I bought mine cracked before I used it. And the other part that broke is because I'm impatient and jammed a screwdriver through the body and broke a piece of the back plate. It still works fine though. I'm gonna have the most warfighter as fuck mp7 on the site. [editline]30th June 2014[/editline] Even with the crack that happens in that exact same spot every time the gun shoots fine. But every time I tried to glue it, the recoil broke the glue. [editline]30th June 2014[/editline] Also I think if it was 1:1 scale the body would be beefief.

I might look into the VFC one then. Supposedly those two new MP7s VFC just put out are 1:1 scale.

That looks really nice. The VFC version is less than $300 on eHA (plus around $50-60 in shipping) so that's not as bad as I was expecting. If I buy one of the VFCs I'll have to let you guys know how it is

Mine has a CQB bolt, and it still shattered on the right side on the top pin.
