The Official Questions Thread Version: "Charlies in the trees, what do I need to get rid of them?"

I'm pretty certain it's the slide catch, it's prematurely engaging and locking the slide while I still have plenty of BBs in my mag.
I'm considering filing it down since it doesn't seem to engage all the way when the problem occurs.
What is the real length of a DD MK18 RIS? I know it says 9.5, but with rails, you never know where they start measuring from.
Anyone know if www.airsoft-club.com is any good? I've got a mate in the UK who wants to order an m4 from them and he's wondering if they're legit. They've got decent prices etc, plus they ship to UK, but he's still unsure.
Anyone had any experiences with the site?

would i have to modify this to make it fit on a dboys rk-05
mainly interested in the bottom handguard, not the top one
Finally there is hydrodip in my area. they claim they can do any pattern. super stoked.
I dont know what i want to dip though.

I ordered an ACM CIRAS from them awhile back. Everything came in on time and with no issues. The vest was total shit, but I suspect that to be more the manufacturer's fault than the retailer's.

That's all we needed, cheers.
Shame about the vest :c

Yup. It's meant for a TM receiver. It's a small difference, but it's gonna require either a dremel or a lot of patience with a file/sandpaper to make it fit
thanks, i guess ill leave my ak as is for now, dont really have the patience to modify it
also, does anyone know how to fix the wobble on ak leaf sights?
mine wobbles like crazy unless i move the tab all the way up, and the dust cover and mags wobble a lot too
Im having problems running hydro with my alice rig belt thing.
I have this: http://www.evike.com/products/38273/ And a MAP pack.
If i wear that evike one on the back of my alice belt it doesnt sit straight and it bends.
What do
EDIT: I ziptied it.

Is it wobbling left/right or up/down. If it's up/down you should be able to just bend the metal tension tab beneath the leaf sight upward to put more tension on it and keep it still. Hell, that may even work if it's wobbling left/right, unless I'm misunderstanding where your wobble is coming from.
it wobbles left and right. if i tilt my gun sideways then the sight moves too. gets really annoying when i aim and my sights are not alligned
Yeah, in that case I'd try removing the leaf sight and bending the tension tab a little so it makes more contact with the sight. That should keep it in place.
If not, then go to a hardware store and get some tiny washers and use them as shims on each of the arms between the leaf sight and the slots on the receiver.
The CYMA SVD is. However I don't know that the CYMA SVDS is, since RealSword doesn't make an SVDS and the only company that does is ARES.
So buy the CYMA SVD, right if I want an SVD? is that what this post is getting at? Love me some real Sword.

If you want a decent SVD (but not the SVDS), and are too poor to pay for the the Real Sword, go for the CYMA. I thought Malik's post (and mine above it) was pretty straightforward.

If you want an SVD and love you some Real Sword...... just buy the Real Sword.

Feels closer to 10, just based off internet pictures and looking at how close it comes to touching suppressors on a 10.5 carbine.

"Kompetitor"
"Aggressive military green"
My sides
Personally, between APS and "Matrix" (aka most likely JG), I wouldn't buy either of them.

I have one myself. From the receiver: 24,5 centimeters = 9,64566929 inches

the ASG might be CA sportline
which isn't much better
Please god don't get either of those, but if you absolutely have to get one, do not get the first one.
Those fucking rails just make me angry.
Also APS.
"Hey guys let bolt rails in random places and fuck with the molds for the plastic bits, it'll be awesome"
Is there anywhere in the US that sells wooden M14 stocks for dirt cheap that somebody might be able to grab one for me from and ship it to me? Finding legit wooden stocks over here seems to be basically impossible and all the made-for-airsoft ones look too clean. I want a beat up ratty-ass stock that i can stick on my TM M14.
I wonder if CubemanV2 still has any of the stocks he was trying to get rid of a while ago. I might actually be able to afford the shipping now :v:
http://www.fredsm14stocks.com/ this guy is your friend
oh my god if i could afford an M14E2 stock i would be the raddest motherfucker in all of england
but i cannot, so i will not be.
those prices seem pretty great, but there's no pictures to actually tell you what you're buying which bugs me a little.
http://www.fredsm14stocks.com/Birch-Big-Red-M14-Stocks_c22.htm
these are the ones you would want.
other m14 stocks are going to be too narrow at the grip for the motor
How much work do they take to make them fit? I'm worried about paying a lot to get one then fucking it up trying to mod it to fit an AEG.
uhhhhh well im really lazy and it took me a few months to do it. lots of dremeling and drilling and fun stuff.
[editline]3rd July 2014[/editline]
if you worked non stop probably like 8 - 10 hours?????
[editline]3rd July 2014[/editline]
(i have no idea)
Depending on how much it would cost to ship over to merry old england (and if i can get anyone to be the middle man again), i'd very much like one of those.
