I asked earlier about a good starting pistol and get the nice recommendation of the TM 4.3 Hi-Capa. I just wanted to ask this to double check, wouldn't the 5.1 version be a better choice? The small bit of reading I did into them (aka google TM 4.3 vs 5.1) and a lot of people are saying get the 5.1 because of a number of reasons you lot most likely already know. So I just wanted to ask your opinions on the matter. Also it's slightly cheaper than the 4.3 but only by a small amount. Thanks in advance.
The 4.3 is more compact than the 5.1, if you have smaller hands it might be easier to manipulate.
It won't. The frame is the same size on both pistols, so hand size shouldn't be a determining factor for one vs the other.
So when I was browsing echigoya guns website, it had all the normal categories, AEGs, GBBs, snipers, shotguns, etc. But there was also a category labeled "California and nearby states", where everything was $20-$50 more expensive. If I'm shipping to the US do I need to use this section, or can I buy one of the cheaper regular ones? Regular, $459: http://echigoya-guns.com/guns/index.php?route=product/product&path=36_35&product_id=446 CA, $504: http://echigoya-guns.com/guns/index.php?route=product/product&path=71_70&product_id=152
It won't. Since the slightly increased barrel size would increase accuracy by however much and there's a very small price difference between the two?

Just get whichever one you think looks best out of the box.
I've got a potential opportunity to get a tm mp7 aep for 100 dollars with some mags. Good idea or should I wait and pick up a kwa gbb mp7?
I loved my old Marui MP7, and 100 bucks is a good price for it. If you want it, go for it.

oh man. a tm MP7? for $100? you better get that right now. if you dont like it you can resell it on a p* forum for like $200+ depending on how many mags and battery plus condition.
Are CYMA M14's and AK's any good? That Hong Kong site's packing loads of CYMA shit for cheapo and I still haven't bought an M4 Blowback wood/metal 47 has caught my eye.
Are CYMA M14's and AK's any good?
CYMAs are generally regarded as the best AKs for the price. And my CYMA SOCOM16 (which is just a shorter M14) was good. Externals were ok but it performed excellent stock. Don't get a blowback AK (if you can't disable it easily) though. Most electric blowback systems in general are really lame and gimmicky.
Do they use those ridiculous micro batteries?
The 7.2v ones? Yes but you can buy an adaptor for like $15 (someone correct me if i'm wrong) that lets it use any airsoft battery
The 7.2v ones? Yes but you can buy an adaptor for like $15 (someone correct me if i'm wrong) that lets it use any airsoft battery
Would it be a bad Idea to do so and use a 7.4 lipo or something in the gun somehow (I realize now that there's not a lot of real-estate for batteries inside the gun)
Plenty of people do that
Feels like I'm spamming this thread with my anti-notrabies MP5k build. I found this: http://www.hk-parts.com/airsoft/eshop/index.php/king-arms-cqb-type-silencer-for-mp5k-pdw.html So if I'm correct, this means I don't need a special inverted 14mm+ to 14mm- adapter and it'll just screw right in? Anyone bought from hk-parts.com? Reputable? I can get it for $30 shipped which is the lowest I've found so far.
Thats pretty neat, and it seems like it should work
Thats pretty neat, and it seems like it should work
Yeah it forgoes the adapter so that's one less point of breakage. Plus it has HK trades so that's cool too. So I could theoretically fit a 110+225=335mm inner barrel. Do they make TBBs in that length (or slightly shorter)?

http://www.ampedairsoft.com/product_p/pr-4582109580103.htm 285mm is the closest I could get. Same site as the Shredder Concave Spacer, but man $60 is a lot. Does it have to be a Prommy?
I've always been a fan of Madbull Black Pythons
Ok found the 300mm on Evike for $51 which still seems like a lot. http://www.evike.com/products/24384/ [editline]11th July 2014[/editline] muh automerge

Yeah I'm just going to get a Madbull Black Python then. $30 is more reasonable and the quality seems to be the same. Prommy Purple Bucking g2g? [editline]11th July 2014[/editline] this is the first time i've ever done anything internal related so sorry for all the questions
just be prepared for the hopup and inner barrel to be outrageously annoying to get to you have to completely take it apart to get to take out the barrel.

I am using a lonex hop up with prommy bucking and nub but stock shit CA barrel. I get around 200ft with my CA piece of shit.
TD short or KAC grip for Mk18?
just be prepared for the hopup and inner barrel to be outrageously annoying to get to you have to completely take it apart to get to take out the barrel.
Aw. Should I look into getting it installed by a tech? I have never even taken apart an AEG and I sure don't want to screw everything up. [editline]11th July 2014[/editline]
TD short or KAC grip for Mk18?
I'd go with the KAC. Little longer but in my opinion it balances out the rifle more.
