The Official Questions Thread Version: "Charlies in the trees, what do I need to get rid of them?"

Actually now that I think about it, I'll probably have lower shipping costs due to my strategic geographical proximity to the Asia region than the US.
Guess that's a plus. Unless they don't consider distance and only product weight.
I can't find any retailers, Swedish or foreign, that sell VFC style AK stocks.
Help would be greatly appreciated :c
Okay, so I'm looking around on Evike and I'm seeing that WE-Tech is selling full Glock frames and slides separately. Is this a clever trick to get around copyright infringement? Also are these worth buying?
I've just changed spring in my gun, changed from a 380 fps spring to a Guarder 280 fps spring, for CQB play. The problem I've found is that the gun chronoes in at 170 fps.
What could be wrong? The gun chronoed in nicely around 380 fps before i changed the spring. I got every part in the gearbox in place and everything is shimmed correctly, so that the gears runt smoothly without any grind. Everything in the gearbox is intact and nothing is broken.
I still have everything stock, therefore i still have some crappy china hop-rubber that i need to get rid of, could that be the problem?
Sounds like air is leaking through the sides inbetween your cylinder and your piston, don't forget to grease it and make sure it fits snugly.
Also yes a shit rubber can ruin your fps aswell, get that checked too.
I'll get the gearbox open and make sure the piston isn't leaking air, and make sure there's grease! Although, i might not do it until i get the rubber, which probably comes next week!
Thanks!

Yes and yes.
Yesterday I asked my friend to bring his WE G18C so I could check it out and it's really nice and it has good kick. The only problem he said he had was the nozzle which would only fire on BB before it stopped feeding properly. We tried full auto too and it worked best in bursts (gas does shoot out the back but unless you're mag dumping it then it's not a problem).
I'm buying one sometime, I think it's a great gun if you don't want to spend a lot but still want some nice features and overall a good gun.
only real glock option unless you have the dosh for tokyo maruoeieee or can find a ksc or old kwa
Okay so I'm really interested in this gun: http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?products_id=33682
I just love the aesthetics and not-a-generic-M4-variant-ness. On the Evike page it says that it "Can use most M4 style magazines". The question is, why then is there a separate SIG magazine section? http://www.evike.com/index.php?cPath=23_56_442
Can the SIG 556 use M4/M16 magazines? I would really like to just use the same mags and not have to worry about getting SIG-specific mags or a magwell conversion.
Also, does anyone have experience with EBBs? I would like to disable the EBB system on the gun if I do get it.
normal sigs use g36-style clippymags
556 uses stanags
you can take it apart and disconnect the bolt carrier from the blowback shuttle to remove ebb
Sig 556 uses STANAG magazines, other Sig rifles use proprietary magazines.
I'm not sure if it has a mechanical or pneumatic blowback, but generally the coolness of ebb is outweigh but either the stress it puts on the gun, or the unnecessary complexity it adds. Also, even though I only have experience by proxy, King Arms gun generally have nice externals, but are nothing special on the inside.

My KA had literally the best externals I have ever experienced, far superior to even my G&P. The guts were sluggish and meh like a common chinese gun. hopup and shit was good though.
Looks like I'm going to be getting the KA SIG 556 then. Definitely going to be an upgrade over my first gun, JG G36.
What parts should I replace/upgrade if the stock internals aren't that great? Or are they decent enough to run stock (and not expect them to break within reasonable usage) and then upgrade whenever I have the extra cash to spend?

Well I'd honestly expect it to perform worse than your JG in almost all regards. Only difference is that you can fix the internals on this to make it not shit.

Anyone?
i see someone selling a crye jpc for $350, and when I asked why the $100 markup, they said there is a 3-4 month wait time, is that true?

Yeah, I can't really upgrade the externals on my JG G36 without buying a whole new gun. But I can upgrade the internals of the KA to match the superb externals.
Going to need stanags, which should I get?
Agree for http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?products_id=25388
Disagree for http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?products_id=39409
Winner for something else. I might get PMAGs or these: http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?products_id=42513 I like how they look.

Probably a longer wait time, everyone and their mother has a JPC or two now.

get PTS pmags bru
Yeah JPCs are one of those low supply uber high demand things. OPTactical had a few in, limit one per customer and they were still gone before I even managed to check the website. Shit's on fire.

Well uh, that's not really true at all, although I can't blame you for wanting another gun.
KV stock, magwell adapter, and a ris unit at a length you like would be very simple to get, and with the KV stock you can wire your gun to take much larger batteries in the stock without having to worry about handguard space.
Not to mention that the aforementioned combo looks pretty damn good.
I still really want that SIG 556 though. :I
I'll think about it.
Anyone?
wgcshop should have lct stocks

Listen to your heart!! Doooo eeet
I, after much caution got a gas blowback pistol after been going to airsoft for a while, unfortunately, I just bought it on the sheer temptation and haven't looked over any of the maintenance required for it, so I have no idea if this is something really simple that's wrong with it but whenever I fire the gun ALL the gas in the magazine just comes out (Green gas mag) heres a video of what it's doing. It's a WE KnightHawk 1911

It sounds like it's a problem with the mag, 1911s are prone to fucking up, and I'm sure someone else around here has plenty of info for you.
It could also be the mechanism that taps the mag to release the gas is defective and holding the valve down instead of momentarily, but I've not an idea on how 1911s work so iunno.
Usually problems like that involve the valve, router, nozzle, or all 3
