Classic Army AR-10 for 210 shipped. Should I? A little more than just a disagree please, would like to know why
Probably something along the lines of "It's Classic Army"
I reserve a special place in my heart for Classic Army. Its a bad place. Externals are normally subpar and made out of cheap potmetal, regardless of what they claim otherwise, and internals are pretty much the same situation to boot. Needless to say if you have to replace both the internals and externals for your gun, there's not really anything redeeming about it, and at that price you're better off just getting a G&P that will suck significantly less.
I'm thinking about picking up an E&L AK if this guy keeps taking forever to get my G3 to me.
Wait for the G3 or save up and get a LCT or something, not that E&L is completely shit.. but the price difference is like 30$. Oh to the person who recomended me LCT AK mags, I fucking love you. Dropped em a lot doing operator speed reloads and one landed against a wall, no problems so far and the feed is really nice!

My CA is a piece of shit but it gets the job done. You are gunna deal with hopup, rust, electrical and motor problems. The body is pretty nice tho. The gearbox is greased with monkey shit and the gears are shit. The wiring is shit and it is front work. I regret not getting a g&g from the start
What's the general consensus on the WE SMG8? asking for a friend who's interested in the gun.
Camolab Hydrodipping. Good/terrible?
I think Hydrodipping looks silly on guns, but to each his own I haven't heard of anyone here doing hydro dip either
I've said before, but hydrodip is almost exclusive to airsofters and mallninjas. There are very few things used by any real military or 'operators' that are hydrodipped, and when they are they make incredibly rare and exclusive collectors items (for example some real devgru tested airframes dipped in AOR1 are crazy valuable) [editline]19th July 2014[/editline] Also personally I just don't think it looks good
Use stencils and spray whatever pattern you like. Cheaper and looks way less mall ninja. [editline]19th July 2014[/editline] Mousecop proved to us AOR2 can be done [editline]19th July 2014[/editline] Legitimate question time: I've seen a lot of guys with paracord sling mounts. How do I tie those? [editline]19th July 2014[/editline] scratch that - found a way.
My brother's friend bought an A-Tacs hydro-dipped ACR/Masada that had been done REALLY well. It looks pretty neat if the camo you're using is your kind of thing, but like biscuit boy said, it really doesn't look like a military gun. If you don't care about your gun not looking like anything an actual soldier would use, go for hydro-dipping. If you want a really cheap (by comparison to hydro-dipping) soloution that looks operator as fuck if you do it right, spray your own gun with krylon or something.
how does hydro dipping wear? i feel like it might look cool if it's really worn in, farcry 3 style
All the hydro-dipped guns i've seen have been in pristine condition, the owners treat them so gently because hydro-dipping costs so much :v: I'm sure they'd look pretty good worn out, but i don't know anybody who'd be too keen to take a brillo pad or sandpaper to a £100+ hydro-dip job.
speaking of worn out I let my friend play around with my VFC M4 while i go to get something, come back and there's a huge gash in the side of it ugh
Anyone ever throw a polar star fusion engine into a shell? I was thinking about buying a cheap, but decent FAL shell, a few internals, and then the polar star fusion kit in it. I was wondering if there's any service advantages over mechanical gearboxes. I've had rough times with mechanical gearboxes.
I'm pretty positive that's how like 80% of P*'s are made, unless you're talking about IFAP exclusively.
Hey biscoty boi, what irons are on your msk and where did you get them?
Hey biscoty boi, what irons are on your msk and where did you get them?
Pretty sure they're repro Daniel Defense 1.5 fixed sights. Where he got them I don't know though.
One more question. I've bought some camo stuff from Varustelka, I added all the stuff to the cart just to see prices without first sorting out sizes. I emailed them almost immediately afterwards, but I was wondering how good is their customer service when it comes to shit like this?
I've heard mixed reviews about E&L, and I'd rather get an LCT and be sure of the quality, but is it the internals or externals of the E&L that are questionable? Because wgc is selling E&L external kits, and they are a good bit cheaper than the LCT ones

Charging handle was in his ass at 3:52????
Charging handle was in his ass at 3:52????
It was facing downwards
I'm not that impressed. I'd be willing to bet an LCT would stand up just as well in a test like that. And for the price point, I'd rather have the LCT. Only real reason I'd buy the E&L over the LCT is for the wooden box it comes in, and that's not really that important.
It doesn't come in a wooden box lol. From what I've heard, both the internals and externals can have it flaws. Some of the pins and screws wear out quickly for example. The internals, well.. the gears look a bit shoddy but they haven't shown any worn after a couple of skirms for me, the rest looks fine really.. Cool stuff for the pricecard I'd say and a good nooby gun for people who want an LCT or RealSword but are afraid they will fuck it up. They claim it's been tested with a M190 spring by the way.. not sure if it's true.
Derp, had it mixed up with the SERS. So one less reason for me to buy an E&L. The SERS, if anyone's interested: http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/sers-ak74m-aeg-s-74m.html#.U8zI6rGKKos
no the sers is the e&l same gun different distributor for different markets/retailers
