Oh thats a relief.
Gas M1100 conversion?

and then I'll convert it to use co2.

Filthy bitch. :quagmire:
You rang?

Seriously though CO2-converted M1100s in other shells are tons of fun. Both the SPAS-12 and M1014 I did have been a bit finicky and a lot of work, but so satisfying once they work properly.
Ive found old posts and youtube videos of that exact one.
thanks.
how wobbly is the outer shell? I assume not at all but I dont know the build quality and would hate for the thing to shatter.
wow nerde why did you polarstar your trishot?!
i still think that's awesome, how hard was it to put the M1100 into the M1014 body?
I really want this gun.

Does anyone know if G&P discontinued it? I really want a SOPMOD Block 2 M4... it seems like there's no options to even build a block 2 right now because every retailer is sold out of the daniel defense ris 2 rails in FDE.
EBay. Facebook. Buy it used (or new secondhand). Out of stock doesn't mean jack shit. Not to mention you'll get price-raped buying any pre-built Block II.

I got my Madbull FDE RIS II on eBay for $80 shipped.
I got my FDE MK18 RIS for $88 shipped from Evike lol
Are the full lengths more expensive than the short ones?
[editline]7th August 2014[/editline]
Also when are you coming back from old people land
Full length is $5 more. I got lucky and they had a ridiculous sale, and I sold my TRX for $80, so the MK18 RIS only cost me $8 out of pocket.

The receiver is very thin but just goes over the M1100 internals. The outer barrel is similarly plasticy and not very resilient, but the whole thing is just cheap plastic parts over the core mechanism of the M1100 and magazine tube. It's not fragile because the M1100 internals are very solid.
how hard was it to put the M1100 into the M1014 body?
The main problem is that all tri-shots are designed so that all the body parts screw into various areas on the internals, so once you take it apart and remove the mechanism there's nothing holding the various external parts together. So I had to glue things and custom-rig new ways to hold it together- for example, there are tabs on the receiver that the barrel slots into, and then the magazine tube cap holds the barrel on. It just takes some work, but since it's all cosmetic modification over a solid internal mechanism it's not hard, just time-consuming.
Does anyone have recommendations for vfc mk17 mags? I've heard that magpul pts 20lrd mags work, but those are expensive and hard to find these days, and the vfc midcaps have some problems of their internals, Should I tough it out with vfc mags, or take a dremel to some 3rd party 7.62 mags? And once again, sorry to clog the forum with so many posts about my troubles with the mk17, but I think you guys are quite helpful.
I'll save you the trouble of waiting for the mailman and breaking it and having to throw the broken gun away.
Just paypal me $100 and it will be easier. PM me for info.
Looking back at it now, I guess you can compare it to spraying yourself in the face with pepper spray.

I know this question is random but what's a good sniper rifle that isn't expensive, does TSD have anything decent or should I get the Well VSR-10? I know it's a Well gun but you can't really go wrong with a bolt action sniper rifle, and I've heard some decent reviews on it, plus it's compatible with TM parts, so which one should I get?
JG BAR 10
Would I be a retard if I considered putting one of those Noveske amplifiers on my pistol?
Typically speaking hanging heavy things off the end of GBB pistols with tilting barrels can severely effect the performance, which is why most suppressors made for pistols are designed to be as light weight as possible, and why carbon fibre suppressors for pistols are a thing.
125 grams is too much you think?
I'm honestly not sure,
I personally wouldn't risk it myself,
is this the P226 we are talking about here?
Yes sir.
I'll have to get a Guarder 226 outer barrel for it, but it's available on Ehobby as well.
If that ends up breaking I won't feel bad about it, as long as original parts remain intact.
Whats its gas efficiency like sans any muzzle devices?
Gass efficiency? As in FPS?
Between 340-360.
I'm threading in unknown waters now.
I mean can it fire off a whole mag on a single fill of gas, and if so how much beyond that on the same fill?
He means how many shots can you shoot per magazine without having to refill the gas
It's C02, I can shoot about 2 mags per canister. (48 rounds)
Effectively that is.
Ahh now you see Co2 helps here, I probably should have asked that first,
I honestly wouldn't like to say one way or the other, but a Co2 pistol has a better chance of cycling properly with a muzzle device, you sure this muzzle amp is only 125g's? because I have have a KFH style one thats about twice that.

Why would it cycle better?
Holy crap this is all so new to me, so many things to learn :D
It'll cycle better purely because Co2 is more a powerful gas reletively speaking to propane (green gas) or HFC 134A which is more or less the stuff in fridges.
Cool.
Order placed :)
Time to be silly.
You might be fine :v:, as theres suppressors that weigh around the 120's, but you might want assume a slight knock in overall gas consumption.
