Reading about upgrading my sniper I stumbled across something called r-hop. Is it really that usefull and where can I get it? Ty
All I've found so far: http://www.clandestineairsoft.com/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&search_in_description=1&zenid=abb0c99d02f96bcee2067b21797ff25f&keyword=hop&x=0&y=0
rhop is probably the best upgrade you can do for more range. I wish I had saved all my comments previously on the subject because I directed another member towards upgrading his hopup with rhop. just do a little research on it and you'll learn more than I can tell you at the moment.
There's this molay tactical on Facebook that custom makes rg cryes and also pencott cryes.
Yeah I found that too, messaged them asking about it but the smallest size they have is 34 and I wear a 32 waist. Might be able to pull it off with a belt but my main concern was the inseam and they apparently don't have that measurement. It costs more to ship from Malaysia than the actual cost of the pants so I'm sure not going to have to deal with returns if it's way too big for me.
any suggestions that isn't Crye's 8 quintillion dollar mil-spec operator extraordinaire pants?
(I am aware of the Chinese knockoffs and all the sellers I could find look shady as fuck)
Crye pants aren't that expensive. If you find some ACTUAL MilSim/Impressionist/Coolguy Buy/Sell/Trade (not LCMSS / AirsofGI / Evike "Milsim") groups, you can find Cryes in the $140 shipped department.
But Kath, not everyone can afford Crye pants, stop assuming everyone has the same financial sitation as you.
This is true, however, you're either going to play close to Crye prices, or you're going to get garbage. That's how the ACM gear market is. There's a few niche exceptions with things like Semapo Gear, Toy Soldier, FFI, Allwin, and VGC, but most of those only sell full sets IF they make Cryes, and the ones that sell pants and shirts individually (see: Semapo) are close to real Cryes in price since they're made with proper fabrics and are high quality.
If you don't play a ton, repros should be -good enough- but it depends on a lot of things like where you play, how you play, and shit like that. I alternate between a few different sets of BDUs/Shirt-Pant combos, and don't play a whole lot so I don't destroy uniforms, but if I wore one pair I'd definitely go with Cryes.
Everyone likes to shit all over the Emerson combat pants for some reason, but I've had a pair (in black cuz im 2kool4skool) for the past few years now and they're solid. I wouldn't think twice about buying another pair.
Most people I know don't rag on quality (which is fine enough but not GREAT), but on their pretty inaccurate patterns, stretch material color, and poopoo Airflex pads (though I suppose that's irrelevant since its not what we're talking about).
There's this molay tactical on Facebook that custom makes rg cryes and also pencott cryes.
My m4 selector can go on safe and semi but now it can't go on auto because its jammed. What's wrong
Is the gun jammed or is the selector jammed? If it's the gun, take out the barrel and run a cleaning rod down it. If it's the selector, it's likely that your selector plate is damaged in some way, or is out of place.

If your consistency/accuracy/compression is garbage you may as well not even have R-Hop. People seem to think that R-Hop is this magical drop-in thing that makes your gun shoot to infinity. The reality is that you need supporting mods like compression mods, good airseal all around, a half-decent barrel, and decent BB's. There's people around me that have 509mm R-Hopped brass barrels with a JG Gearbox behind it, and are wondering why they have about 50 feet more range than me, but I can actually hit my target and all I have is a 6.02 Stainless, Systema Bucking, Flat Hopped, and some teflon tape around my Cylinder Head with a stretched O-Ring on my Piston head.

I know its not a magical drop in but provided your gun isnt absolute garbage and running on its last limb you'll definitely see an increase in range. there are a number of other things you can do to increase performance but I didnt see him asking about compression or airseal or anything. "shoot to infinity" give me a break I dont have time for that.
having taken a KWA CQR out of the box and tested it before and after rhop I can say that compared to other modifications, the performance increase you will receive is greater than the time and effort put into it.

You seem to think I was singling you out. I said "People", not "Heldure".
You're forgetting there's HUNDREDS of CoDKiddies who have guns that ARE absolute garbage and/or running on its last limb who just want "mor range", and everyone on ASF and the like just swarm them and tell them to "drop in" an R-Hop as if it's so easy to install.
You're entirely right, it is the best upgrade for range, but other things are more important than range. R-Hop is best saved for when your gun is already at peak performance and you want to squeeze that extra 50-100 feet out of it.
Honestly I would never invest in any repro gear. I know a lot of you guys are going to disagree with me here, but by the time you've paid the price of the gear, plus the price of shipping, you've usually payed almost as much as you would for a used real one (unless you're after AOR shit). Not to mention the fact that you'll get many times more use out of a really pair of Cryes than you will out of any repro pair. You'll buy three sets of repro pants and pay twice as much just to have them for as long as one pair of real ones will last. I will aways say to suck it up, save your money, and buy real stuff. You will never, ever regret it.

Plus you don't really have to worry about your real shit breaking on you in the middle of a game. I know I could let someone drag me by the drag handle on my EPC, or that I can (try to) slide on my G3 kneepads, or that I can run through a thorn bush in my PCU without having to worry about any of them tearing or anything, but I'm not sure I could have the same sense of security in a Flyye EPC, Semapo G3s, or a Condor PCU.
The market for real gear is massive, too. Very rarely do I ever see any Condor/repro gear sell. If you buy a real pouch at $20, the chances you can sell it for $20 so long as you don't destroy it are pretty high.
Yup, that was exactly my sentiment when I invested so much cash in all my real gear. I know that I can use it a lot, and then turn around and sell it for what I paid or slightly less, even years later.
Resale is why I'm considering buying some AR500 plates. Theyre neat, and if I ever need cash, I can sell them for what they cost. Real shit is great like that. All of my gear holds value, and thats one of the major benefits, in addition to the fact that its all high quality.
I hear rumors of a body armor ban circulating. AR500 may turn out to be a pretty good investment after all.
While not real gear, my TS 6094 is probably my best airsoft purchase and I'm still amazed I got it under $100 new.
The only "real" gear I have are my Paraclete MP5 mag pouches and they're fantastic, although I have never seen them being sold anywhere so I'm assuming they aren't particularly common.

I think I just assume everyone is capable of understanding what they should expect performance wise out of their guns. like we've both said if the gun is shit putting an rhop patch on it wont fix it. Im not sure what else to recommend him based on what I know about his gun though. I would like to think Im a little bit more knowledgeable than someone just tossing out the rhop suggestion. If I had the gun in hand and shot it I could more easily suggest things to change or fix.
I almost hesitated recommending it because I don't know of another brand besides Condurr that makes them, I'm fine with using Condor Gear, but I know a lot of others are not.
I found a brand-less tornado holster for 5,60 on airsoft-club.com, gonna try it out. :P
Disregard this post I've found what I'm looking for.

Thank you, Where could I find a decent, Cheaper Replica of a 6094? I like the look and everything, but I don't like that Price Tag.
Thoughts on G&G M14, L85 and ARES TAR?
M14 uses proprietary mags they share with CA m14s that are more expensive than TM type

Does it really only come in Tan and Multi? I'm getting some Project Honor Camo in a few days and I'd like to run it as a green camo (On top of M81 Pants) Can I get it in like, Black?

Either tan or MC is going to look better with your camo than black.
A lot of my WW2 kit is repro, although thats because HGNGNGGGGG budget, etc
I haven't even been able to field it yet :CC And I probably won't until I sell these boots and get them in the correct size. AKA Fall (which is perfect because jesus M41 jackets are warm in the summer)
I need to fix my AK and my M4, every now and then I miss using my AK.
Plus I gotta get more AK mags and a drum for the RPK
fuck

Tan will look just fine with that IMO. Or maybe get an MC top or pants and do the MC PC. You might have a little too much going on camo-wise if you use the LBX, M81, and MC, but if you just get MC pants or even just use the tan PC it'll look fine. Black is going to look airsoft as fuck and you'll stick out like a sore thumb no matter what.
CB/tan PC + RG pouches is super rad btw. I personally think it looks really bad when people's gear and pouches are all the same color/pattern. Just looks like a big blob.
£200 a good price? It's an Osprey Mk. 3 in woodland DPM. Only 1000 were made I think.

Only trouble is it would be really hard to find pouches for it. If I don't end up buying it, I can link anyone else who might be interested to the seller.
Yo just bought this did i make the right choice? http://www.torontoairsoft.com/ACM-Molle-Light-Tactical-Assault-Vest-030--Multicam_p_940.html
Not really... You know one of the benefits of this questions thread is that you can ask the questions before making your decisions.

I thought Osprey was just covered in normal MOLLE?
If it is, theres loads of DPM Mag pouches and utility pouches out there for relatively cheap since DPM's being phased out to be replaced by MTP

Better hope you can do returns because I too once had an FSBE repro when I first got into airsoft and it was the worst piece of airsoft equipment I have ever owned. You can do WAY better for that price.
