What's the best L85 AEG out there?

G&G M14's and L85's are the best on the market

Anyone ever use a Prowin hop-up unit or an A+ REAPS bucking? I've heard they're very good together.
Prowin is great. REAPS is shit. Get a G&G Green.
There's an APS ACP 601 for sale for ludicrously cheap on my usual site. They any good? Or are they that cheap for a reason?
If its anything like their AEG gearboxes, its cheap because its out of spec compared to everything else and you'll be utterly fucked if something go's wrong with it.

What's wrong with REAPS?
What's wrong with REAPS?
from what I understand it's basically overhop city. never had one, but seen guns with them and was duly unimpressed
Cheers
Umarex (VFC) HK416D GBB any good?
I do love me a hk416
VFC doesn't have the best reputation with GBBR's. Their MP5 line is known to be very bad. I dont know anything about the 416 specifically, though.
Alright. I'm looking at either that or an A&K M249 with a few extra boxes.
Speaking of, the A&K LMGs any good? M60VN, MK43, PKM etc.
I like the idea of spending ludicrous amounts on BBs whilst hitting everywhere but the enemy.
PKM best
you won't regret
So stupid question time, why the fuck does everyone go ga-ga over Mechanix gloves? Is it solely the fact that #opurr8orz use them? I've got a pair of older ones and I don't really see what's so special about them.
People only go crazy over Mechanix because of the brand name, honestly I found a pair of unbranded gloves on Amazon that work pretty great.
I never heard of anyone going crazy over Mechanix gloves (at least compared to some other products), but they're solid gloves for a reasonable price.
Use em at work for that reason as well, el cheapo.
Anyway another random question, is it true apparently that Crosman has some sort of manufacturing deal with Golden Ball for bbs? Someone apparently told me that, and are the Ignite Black ops .20 bios any good?

Never heard of this. Only gloves I've heard of having a "following" are the PIG ones and the few people that REALLY REALLY like their Oakley gloves
I happen to have mechanix, and while they're good, I actually have a couple complaints:
-Most of the ones marketed to MIL/LEO/Airsoft have fine suede on the palms for "padding" which is actually extremely thin and makes it hard to grip plastic pistol grips
-All of the fingers are contoured properly, except for the thumb, which is baggy. (Maybe this is for a reason, but every pair of Mechanix I've tried on has had this problem, and I've heard it from a few others.
I definitely like mine, but I'd rather spend the extra money and buy a pair of REAL OPERATOR gloves for life.

$40, breathable, EXTREME grip, handy pull-cord, and bomb proof
oh yeah, if you decide you don't like yours anymore, you can cut them in half with some scissors and Outdoor Research will replace them no questions asked

I highly doubt it.

Just seems like as of late every major retailer is making a huge deal about them and pushing them hard, and a lot of the little CoD kiddies are using them trying to look DEVGRURANGERAIRBORNESEAL.
so one of my packages came in

I know it doesn't matter, but do you guys put Male or female Deans plugs on your batteries?
it DOES matter
FEMALE FEMALE FEMALE
if you put male the chances of the two prongs being accidentally connected (and bad things happening) rises dramatically
I've owned Mechanix Originals and Oakley SIs and used the Pigs. I like the Mechanix the best because they're cheap as fuck and the keep it simple. I didn't like the Oakleys or the Pigs because they were both hella thick and hard to feel anything through, which make manipulating anything difficult. The Mechanix don't have any bells and whistles and are nice and thin, so they're perfect imo.

Solid copy, will use female.
Do companies like Rothco and Propper make real milspec things or just cheap replicas? Wondering because I'm going to buy some tri-color desert BDUs
Do companies like Rothco and Propper make real milspec things or just cheap replicas? Wondering because I'm going to buy some tri-color desert BDUs
Do not buy retail. Buy surplus.

I mean their BDUs are okay, but you're much better off buying surplus on ebay for much cheaper.
[editline]17th August 2014[/editline]
FUCKING BURF
Surplus meaning military issue? The only problem with that is too many surplus stores carry Rothco and Propper things, would Amazon be a good place to find a pair of milspec ones?

Amazon will pretty much just give you Rothco and Propper, surplus meaning used military issued gear, easily found on Ebay, cheaper, and of a higher quality.

Thanks, I know this may sound as a stupid question but can Ebay be trusted?
