For all you current and former Stoner 63 owners, I'm having problems with the box mag. When I use the push button it works just fine, but it's no longer doing the "wind while shooting" thing. I took the box mag apart and damn this thing is actually pretty complicated. Any help?
UPDATE Now whenever I plug in the 9v battery it continually winds no matter what I do SEND HELP

When front-wiring an already rear-wired M4, do I need to buy a new wiring setup or will the wiring I already have work?
Depends on the length of the wire and where you're storing your battery. If you're still doing the ready mag thing you should have plenty of extra wire
Hey Guys, I am on the quest for midcaps and i have narrowed it down to 3 options. http://www.evike.com/products/39409/ http://www.evike.com/products/48425/ http://www.airsoftstore.ca/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=65&products_id=510 now the EF mids are really cheap but they are not tactical enough for me (but if they feed properly i will be content) The BAMF mags are probably horse shit and they probably wont fit my 416 but they have a big capacity The EPM mags are too expensive for me but I can probably get them for christmas if i wait. (which means not getting a contour or other bbwarz things) I have a close friend who has airsofted longer then me and recomends these: http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/socom-gear-lancer-l5-advanced-warfighter-mid-cap-magazine-for-m4-aeg-190rd-5pcs.html#.VAoSQvmwIxg Now Im sorta torn on getting those lancer mags or EF mids, IFAP can you help me plz?
Don't know about the other two brands, but both PTS and EF magazines are pretty damn good. Especially the Elite Force ones, for the price and performance.

I use them and they're fantastic. They're also pseudo pmags so they're "tactical" too

Hey guys how come gas in gbbr is stored in the mags and not the stock?
how would you like to jam a gas can into your stock every 50 rounds [editline]5th September 2014[/editline] also, folding/retractable stocks
Are those exclusive to KWA magwells? Not sure if they would fit in my g&g 416
They fit great in my G&G Combat Machine with very Minor modification (Loopside velcro on the back of my Magwell) but if they ARE out of the question, then use the Elite Force ones. If I didn't use K120's that's what I would use.
Are A&K M249s any good? I realize that no matter how much i want a PKM or an M60 i'm never going to effectively haul either of them around, and an M249 MK1 is starting to seem more and more appealing to me.
they're ok my a&k mk1 is my least favorite of my three and i infinitely prefer lugging around the pkm
Is it your least favorite because it's bad, or just because you like the other guns more?
a bit of both the a&k's a 1:1 of the CA and shares all its flaws, like the shitty mag and the trigger switch placement the 60/PKM have the fantastic perfectly feeding wind while fire mags and better trigger switch location, though they all share the shittastic hopup i can't emphasize how much i love the PKM mag though, it's a big steel box held on to the gun by an equally strong steel bracket and the feed runs straight through the mount so there's no fucking around with hoses or anything, just plug and play
Is there anything that can be done about the shitty mag and trigger switch, or are they just things you have to accept and live with if you own an M249? I kind of thought somebody might've brought out a better boxmag for it if they're that bad, unless the problem extends to the design of the gun as a whole and is unfixable.
you could replace the trigger switch and bend the contact though you still run the risk of it getting caught on the sector gear as for the mag there's only the farby MAG nutsack, which i've heard feeds well but is unreliable in the long term; i figure if you're paying $300 for a gun and $100 for a mag you might as well go the whole hog and get an mk43 or pkm
That's a little dissapointing, but i guess it can't be helped. The main reason i wanted a MK1 is to go with an 80s US kit as a lighter alternative to an M60. I think i'll just save for a PKM and a good combloc kit to go with it.
you better
I will, someday. I could probably get away with using it with my East German kit once I can afford to get the rest of it.
Killer, is there any reason you can't trim a millimeter or so off the trigger contact to prevent it from getting jammed in the gears?
If you want an MG but are worried about weight get a Stoner 63. It literally just feels like a heavy rifle. Then go Nam SEAL kit [editline]6th September 2014[/editline] Apparently the Marines also used it in very limited numbers if you aren't into SOF

That looked cool
CA OEM =/
I don't know how many of you have a CM16 Raider L, but if any of you do, could you show me the method you used to remove the wiring from the buffer tube? mine is completely different than the one showed in the diagram [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/dWhSC3g.jpg[/img_thumb] these contacts wont come apart [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/cScK2gU.jpg[/img_thumb] and this huge fuckin plastic thing doesnt even show up in the tech diagram. It wont fit through the hole in the buffer tube. anyone got tips?
g&g plugs are heatshrinked together really tightly just yank the fuckers apart
The contacts that won't come apart will come apart. cut the heatshrink with a razor or xacto, and pull as hard as you can. E-tape them back together when you're done so they dont short. the big thing is the fuse. it doesn't need to come out to go through the buffer tube because the wiring comes apart at the contacts.
alright i got the contacts off, thanks guys
What's the biggest airsoft event any of you have been to before?
