Keep in mind that KWA magazines are quite expensive and hard to find. Excellent brand though, a buddy has it still shoots good at low temperatures with a constant fps. Oh, do yourself a favor and drop the 101inc stuff. 101inc is absolute crap.

Don't use BBs from a shitty springer in anything but shitty springers. The BBs those guns come with are universally garbage.

Second question, Do I have to own gear to go in or can i get them to give me some, or what?
Third and last question, is there any point to actually use springers?

1) I'm not 100% sure what the woods in the UK are like, but I imagine the DPM, M81, or MARPAT would work well as they do in most any woodland environment.

2) I'm not sure who you think "they" are, but you're going to be hard pressed to find anyone who will just [I]give[/I] you gear. You can usually rent eye protection or a mask at most fields though.

3) It depends entirely on what kind of springer you're talking about. Higher end bolt action rifles and trishot shotguns both have definite applications on the field, but cheap spring powered rifles are pretty much worthless.

One, Depends where you are, DPM usually covers most fields. MTP works well too in lighter forests during autumn/summer when there's lots of dead or dried out grass and shit, but I've seen flecktarn blend in ludicrously well.
Two, Once again, it depends on where you are, all the sites near me rent out overalls, AEG's with 2 or 3 high caps, eye protection and ammo. For decent prices.
Three, As mentioned above, it really comes down to the type of weapon. Sniper Rifles and shotties make sense, but otherwise I can't see any practical applications beside backyard shooting for pistols and rifles.

I'm thinking about getting a better pistol once I get my paycheck, and I'm trying to decide between the ASG and KWA CZ75. So far from what I can see the pros of the KWA are the NS2 system, and probably better quality, but the pros of the ASG are Co2 mags and cheaper. Co2 means I can use it year round here in Maine without performance drop. Thoughts?

The TM 870 works similar to this, with a separate "magazine" in the stock that just holds gas. Most GBBRs use gas-in-mag because it just makes more sense when you have a large size magazine (as seen in ARs and AKs). This way there's enough gas for all the rounds in the mag and you don't have to deal with refilling the gas reservoir halfway through a mag.

Not to mention the fact that having gas in the stock would be impossible either due to space restrictions or design restrictions on almost all AR platforms and a good majority of modern AK platforms/anything else with a folding stock.

Don't get the KWA. I have one, it was my first GBB, and I love it, but for gods sake the proprietary bullshit isn't worth the high price and moderately-above-average-at-best performance

I wouldn't recommend anything Lancer Tactical. If your friend needs a cheap starter AK, hunt down a full-steel DBoys or a newer-model CYMA.
