Basically wanna blow like $200 and get something nifty out of it.
Shit like this is exactly why I have a project car. It needs a million things (probably about 3K to get everything working and looking decent), but it still drives great, is fun to work on, and can work as backup transportation if my daily driver dies. Last week it got an alternator, next week it gets a starter, and the week after that it'll be getting new motors for the power windows and power locks. Plus working on cars is super satisfying.

I just moved to Florida and I dont have space for both of my vehicles. I really want to get another older vehicle, though.
I just moved to Florida
You have my condolences.

So, this might seem like a bit of a dumb question, but on the Cyma cm.050A ( "tactical" AIMS http://www.taiwangun.com/en/cm-050a-ebb-black-version ) is it possible to mount a regular wooden AKM handguard on it? It seems like it has a different mounting to it but that might just be me. Tried googling it but I didnt really find anything. Thanks // Anton

I see no reason why not, since it's just a regular AIMS with black polymer furniture.

Alternatively, turn your daily into a project car, getting little things for it makes a huge difference since you use it all the time.

Thanks // Anton
With that railed gas tube you might not be able to fit the upper part of the handguard unless you can source another nonrailed gas tube
With that railed gas tube you might not be able to fit the upper part of the handguard unless you can source another nonrailed gas tube
I assumed he wanted to go all the way since he just mentioned "handguard" instead of specific parts of it, but yes, he might have problems fitting a wood lower on there with that railed gas block because of the mounting brackets that wrap around the barrel to keep the gas tube on.

I wish that I had the AWD one, because I really really want a car that I can haul ass down dirt roads with. My vehicles are a '10 Suzuki SX4 and a lifted '89 Toyota pickup.
Can anyone recommend any sites where they sell WW2 German camo stuff? I'm lost in the world of 90's looking sites with unclear pictures and not enough info..
I think atthefront is a place I hear recommended a lot, but don't quote me on that
At The Front is great.
Is this at all fixable, not asking if I should just trash it because that's a last resort becauseiampoor
That's done. If it's a 9.6 nunchuck, pm me your address and I'll send you a couple.
couldnt he strip the red wire a little bit then just resolder it to the top terminal?
I'd be terrified to put direct heat on to a battery cell. It would probably work, but that isn't something I'd personally attempt a repair on.
stripe some red wire solder between the wires make contact fucktonsofhotglueorotherglueandtape fixed

I went to their stand at a militaria fair one time and it seemed pretty good. Their repro knives and grenades are a bit dodgy though.

They sell some good stuff and have a lot of variety but i've heard it mentioned many times from many people that their prices are really high.
I'd be terrified to put direct heat on to a battery cell. Seriously, it takes like 2 seconds to join them if they're tinned and the iron is already heated(provided it's a half decent iron)
i mean, its probably not worth it since its just a shitty nimh, but yeah, it would be a simple repair.

So why does everyone obsess over the Eagle FB pouches? Aren't they just regular mag pouches with kydex inserts? I see 1x1 mag pouches going for like $30, surely it isn't that hard to make yourself?
Its about what they are, and not so much about the function, though they would definitely function better than anything home made. But they're uncommon, and necessary for some impressions.
