Ah fuck, it's Multicam :(
Im trying to get serious with airsoft, and I need some help with creating a loadout. My budget is around 600 to 700 and im trying to put a full loadout together. Im thinking a type of AK for primary, and thats as far as I got. Please help :D
It would help if you gave us an honest budget. If "a type of AK for primary" was as far as you got, then you probably don't have $700 to sink into airsoft yet.
Like I said 600 to 700. Just not really above that. Plus this is over a course of a little bit of time, and Im pretty new to this and that's why I haven't decided on a gun yet. :P
Well once you do decide on what AK you want (I suggest LCT and Real Sword if you want to get "serious") For gear, there's many kinds of impressions you could do, anywhere from Russian FSB to taliban
Well here is what I think for the AK I guess http://www.evike.com/products/30307/ And for style of loadout, like camo, I want to go with woodland scheme Edit- PS hopefully being 5'4'' isnt to short :P
The AKS74u has a tiny barrel. Almost useless for field use. Longer barrel = higher fps. $700 is a decent budget. Anything more specific than woodland? You could be a nato-pmc-woodland fag with the plate carrier crap, go full out Russian, or maybe something else.
Actually I was thinking an OD or like a forest green Russian scheme. And I think im gonna stick with the AKS74u, even though I keep changing my mind on everything
Just saying that the ASK74u won't shoot worth shit unless you really upgrade it. Its more of a CQB gun. If I had an extra $700 laying around and no gun or anything I'd personally get this kit to look like a sweet FSB/Militia dude: - E&L AK74m - $300 - NERPA Vest - $150 - Black balaclava, beanie or that OD bandana thing - $10-18 - 7x MAG Midcap Magazines - $70ish - Partizan Gorka, Gorka-3 or normal Partizan suit if hot weather - $120ish - Bulgarian AK sling - $18 (k-var) - Speed loaders, eye pro, batteries, charger, etc - $40-60 Woud look kinda like that. Badass and ready to put down hato. You would, however, need to surrender your corrupt amerikyeh capitalist ideology. And get a bad russian accent, learn some russian phrases (cyka & blyat are good to start), and roleplay a lot.
The AKS74u has a tiny barrel. Almost useless for field use. Longer barrel = higher fps.
im just gonna go ahead and say my mp5k and bizon shoot as well as any of my longer barreled guns also fuck mag ak mags and you can get an actual russian sling for that much
Well instead of that gun how about http://www.evike.com/products/45385/ or http://www.evike.com/products/42745/ I really like folding stocks, but mostly side folding, and I love wood finishes. Another thing does anyone think I could get a scope on either? Also any other camos besides Gorka, I really don't like it and wouldn't blend in around my area

If you've actually got $700 to blow on your first kit, get an LCT or Realsword AK like Ryan suggested. If you're going to spend that much, there's no point in getting a Cyma or a CA.
Im putting it together over time, but I want to go more on the cheaper side
you get what you pay for
Im putting it together over time, but I want to go more on the cheaper side
Remember earlier when someone asked you for an 'honest budget'?
Budget is 700 max. But I don't to pay over 300 dollars for my first serious gun. Im gonna stick to my original AKS74u. Thanks for your help guys. :P
dont get the classic army, my classic army was my first gun and it is so shit that it has actually caused depression in me. The CYMA should be OK but not all airsoft guns are created equal.
CYMA is what I was gonna do :D

Thanks for your help guys. :P
The gun is literally the most important part. Why would you skimp on it? You can easily put together a nice Ruskie load out with the leftover cash after you buy an LCT. [editline]18th September 2014[/editline] You know what never mind, I'm done lol.
Seriously, please just buy an LCT or E&L. It's not even that much more than CYMA and it'll be soooo much better. CYMAs are good guns, don't get me wrong, but I would have much rather payed the extra money for a better gun rather than deal with the small problems/shortcomings that are unavoidable with a clone
seriously man, you may have your heart set on the cyma, but an LCT is going to be a lot better for you in the long run
You should probably play using a rental gun before you buy anything so you actually know what you like. Also, while I think AKS-74U's are pretty gross, you do know that LCT makes one, right? With your budget you're wasting your time going for a CYMA, especially because I imagine you don't have the technical know-how to perform the necessary upgrades to make it decent.
Does anyone here know if an APS Ak74 handguard will fit a Cyma CM048M/CM050? Tried googling but found nothing.
Does anyone here know if an APS Ak74 handguard will fit a Cyma CM048M/CM050? Tried googling but found nothing.
Are we talking about wood handguards?
im just gonna go ahead and say my mp5k and bizon shoot as well as any of my longer barreled guns also fuck mag ak mags and you can get an actual russian sling for that much
Pls tell me where to get genuine Rus sling for that price. Only places I've found them they are like $25-30 :( Also I've heard the Bizons shoot well, but I'm mainly saying its a lot easier to get better range with a longer rifle.
CYMA is what I was gonna do :D
Believe me when I tell you. Buy a better gun first. Because if you get a cheap one you WILL replace it later and you WILL sell it for a lot less than you paid for and lose money. CYMA isn't complete shit, but nothing compares to E&L, LCT or RS. E&L is cheap for what it is.

My mp5k with a 110mm inner barrel, hitting 330fps shot further than my friend's SVD with a 500mm inner at 600fps. It's all about the quality of your hopup.
Anyone here have experience with the Mayflower UW Chest Rig Gen IV? I've got an offer to trade my MBAV for one. It seems like a good idea, since that's about as light as it gets. I'm split between that and an AWS OCPC/6094.

[editline]19th September 2014[/editline] Check out the PIG UCR. Basically free for what it is.
I've heard good things about them, but they're not worth a straight across trade for your PC.
That is very good information, I almost made that deal.
Check out the PIG UCR. Basically free for what it is.
That's hella swag. Looks pretty neat, I'd just have to find it in CB or khaki or whatever.
