Pls tell me where to get genuine Rus sling for that price. Only places I've found them they are like $25-30 :(
russiansurplus.net
got my tourniquet, bandage, and sling from him
me + iirc several senior RR guys recommend him
CYMA is what I was gonna do :D
Ok, great. So we'll see you on the BST thread here in a month or two trying to dump the CYMA because you're not happy with it and then have to turn around and start saving up money all over again to buy an LCT, E&L, or RealSword like we told you to do originally.

I know I've asked this recently, but how light do you guys consider 6094 type vests to be in comparison to, say, a JPC? Are there any other good carriers that are in between the two?
I've held a real jpc and a real 6094 and the weight of the two naked are close. But the jpc is the lighter carrier. There really isn't any inbetween though.
Really leaning toward the Haley Strategic D3CR right now. I'm liking the idea of a lightweight chest rig.
EDIT: Ah. Good to know. Thanks mane :v:

[del]Also, any thoughts on the Shellback Banshee carriers? I feel like I've heard they're shitty, but I can't remember.[/del] never mind.
EDIT: Ended up buying the Haley D3CR. Despite whatever tactic00l shit Travis Haley promotes, the D3CR appears to be really well thought out and it's pretty much exactly what I'm looking for in terms of carrying capacity and pouches.
I also really like how it can attach to a backpack with fastex buckles. I'm planning to attach some buckles to a pack I currently use and clip the rig onto it.
-YEAH JUST DEL TAG EVERYTHING AFTER I TYPE UP AN INSIGHTFUL REPLY OK-
hahaha fuck sorry. actually, I'd be interested to hear it anyways since I've just realized you can attach the rig to a shellback carrier. that is, if you still have it copied or something.
nope too late
but the shellback banshee is basically just a USA made legit real steel 6094 repro so it's good for the price but won't fit into any real impression (if that's a criteria for some people's gear). good for airsofter loadouts though.
[editline]19th September 2014[/editline]
pretty sure joe just got one so he'd be able to say more about it. ender has one too but rip ender.
Huh. Well, that's good to know. I was looking at the AWS OCPC earlier, but if the Shellback is also a copy of the 6094 and it's compatible with the new rig I may end up getting one eventually if I can find the cash.
Sorry about the del tags bae.
nah its all good mane. both the ocpc and banshee are good 6094 "clones". the ocpc is a closer clone to the 6094 though so get that if you have the choice.
summoning herf the only person here whos owned both

not worth the money for the quality. You'd be better off with an OCPC for less and have something that isn't totally airsoft status
[editline]20th September 2014[/editline]
OCPC is a clone, banshee is made up
I figure here would be as a good a place for this as any, but do any of you guys know of any options for mounting a flashlight to an LE AR hand guard? All I can seem to find are big, ugly tri-rails and rails that require you to drill into the plastic. I'm hoping to find a drop-in, low profile rail that I can use to attach the Surefire I bought to my AR.

Black Ziptie(s)?
an inch or two of railing and a scope ring that holds your light?
I'm thinking of maybe using one of these, but getting rid of the top rail and then Dremel-ing off the left side rail, so I just have a right side angled rail that's attached at the top. I'm afraid it will get in the way of my Israeli band though.

To be honest that's not a bad idea. I'm going to try that out first if I can find a bit of rail around here anywhere.
FSP mount? Or do you want it specifically on the handguard?

[t]http://home.comcast.net/~cjan99999/Lumpy_Sling1.JPG[/t]
I thought about those, but A) I run a sling mount there and B) the light is pretty bulky and I'm not sure it'd fit.
I've realized the problem with just zip-tying a rail on is that the hand guard is sloped so it would be a little canted. Also I don't think zip ties would have the strength to keep the light from slipping down.
Have you considered getting the handguard with integrated light? I think Wulfram had one for when we were planning to go to Blacksheep.
I had one that came on my G&P. I liked the ergonomics of it. Based on the m500 light system I believe. He has a nice light that is going on a real AR though.
This + side mount?

Have you checked out the thorntail mounts? You may be able to get an offset one that will bolt in to your top vent holes and work well.

Unfortunately, Herf is right. I've already bought the light and it's for a real AR, so the usually stuff won't cut it.
Have you checked out the thorntail mounts? You may be able to get an offset one that will bolt in to your top vent holes and work well.
Yeah, but none of them have 1913 rails :(
Thorntail Keymod Offset is keymod->offset picatinny
That might actually work. I'll just have to find a way to bolt the key mod part into the top of the hand guard.
Would a TM 1911 slide fit on a KJW MEU?
Can you fit a hicapa in the 1911 carbine kit?
Can you fit a hicapa in the 1911 carbine kit?
I doubt it. I don't know for sure, but I know that 1911's attach to the kit by the grip panels, and the grip is wider on a hicapa than a regular 1911 IIRC.
What's a good price for a Crye Field Shirt AC in AOR2?
Is the JG G3 any good? Or are there better options than it? Wondering because I want to make an Iranian loadout
Is the JG G3 any good? Or are there better options than it? Wondering because I want to make an Iranian loadout
Better options would be TM and CA if you can find either. The JG G3 is good. Don't upgrade it until it breaks.
Thanks I'll go with the JG, since its the only thing I can find.
Just out of curiosity [sp]I'm not Drunk, I promise.[/sp]
How hard would it be to convert an old SNES Super Scope to airsoft? It looks like I could throw a V7 gb or something in there, but then the issue is figuring out the magazine and whatnot, is it possible at all to have a STANAG Mag feed with a V7 box? am I being ridiculous for wanting this to actually be a thing? (I know the answer is yes)
Super Scope for reference.
