well if he is gonna end up replacing most of the shit anyway the shorter lived KJW parts arent going to be an issue (because they wont be in the gun)
it'd be like buying a TM as a platform for a total gearbox upgrade. You'd be paying extra for what is basically the shell of a gun

Some people here wear sneakers but I agree, boots for days. Best footwear all footwear. I actually want it to get a little cooler here so I can wear pants and get away with high top boots for everyday use.

Is it based on something in particular or is it just some noname thing? Description at the store doesnt say much about it & I kindof like the looks of it.
So, in November I could potentially go to an OLCMSS event with a buddy of mine. War of Angels is going to be happening 2 hours from where I live. Ticket price is like, $175 for a three day event. Anyone have any experience going to one of these? Are they worth the money?

The theme is to make it look kind of like a compact C7A2, but without an Elcan sight because I can't find a replica with an OD cover

I personal wouldn't get that furniture set, because of that stock, but I guess that's just preference.
I also wouldn't get that barrel since it's "Matrix" (insert ACM brand of the week with the cheapest wholesale parts), meaning high tolerances and a bad barrel. While stainless is a good bit better for barrels, you're still better off buying a Madbull Black Python 6.03.
As for the hopup, from experience, I'll never use a unit not made by pro-win, but those run about $30 and the performance is negligible for someone budget-minded.
As for the motor, I'd look out for a Lonex A2(? The high torque one) instead. You'll get a great deal better performance than, like I said, Matrix' flavor of the week.

I have the OD version of it, was my first gun and pretty cool when I first got it. Eventually upgraded to something more modular. You can't really put much more than a sight on it and maybe a flashlight if you get the extra rail kit. It has a really freakin' convenient quick swap spring system in it though so that's actually really nice. Been looking to sell mine recently.
So is the JG AUG worth getting or should I get a Cyma MP5?

it's the only OD furniture set that I could find that includes the carbine handguard, if you find one with a different, more plain looking stock let me know ASAP because otherwise I'm going to put this together as soon as I get the money for my gun.
