Are CYMA metal receivers any good? I'm not a fan of the polymer one I have now. [editline]10th October 2014[/editline] Bearing in mind I don't have the cash right now for anything fancy.
for AR or AK?
AR
china pot metal like any. Probably more brittle than a polymer one.
All of my CYMA metal receivers weren't too bad.
So after i buy my EPMs (rip $300) I plan on getting a 3rd gun. Now I would rather it not be over $300 plus tax but i can get a high end gun (which means i will still be stuck with only the base of an impression) I would like to use AR mags but in the end it doesnt really matter. Right now I am considering: ARES AMOEBA honey badger thing CYMA AK LCT AK (if i get this im not gunna be able to get stuff for my WIP impressions) S&T Tavor JG BAR 10 JG AUG I currently own a G&G 416, a MK18 MOD 0 frankengun (classic army base), a KJW 1911 and a KJW P226. halp me spend monies also now im starting to get into russian gears and stuff

So what do you guys think about the "Black Ops" series of Airsoft equipment found at Wally world? Personally the only things I think look alright from them is their Thunder B copies and their airsoft mortar, but haven't seen any reviews or tests on any of those things. But everything else looks too good to be true, especially their M4 AEGs.

External build quality is absolute shit, like worse than the Ares M4A1 externals. One cool thing I've noticed is that they're a great platform for a Polarstar build, and I've seen quite a few of them like this.
I'm actually pretty glad I avoided getting that M4 even though it was on sale for $75.00 at my local store
Blops are aps

They don't weigh shit and don't cost shit.
Blops are aps
How is that? Also, are their thunder B copies any good? They're relatively cheaper
...because they're made by aps? i don't get what you're trying to say here
What I mean is does it have the same manufacturing techniques/designs you'd find on an APS?
No, they're just APS rifles rebranded, presumably. Seems like a thing APS would do.
Thanks, sorry if that question sounded bad, I only got into airsoft earlier this year :V
Atleast you admit you don't know what you're talking about. When I first started I pretended I knew things I didn't.
So, do most outdoor fields allow Thunder Bs or do grenades have to disperse BBs?
Thunder Bs can disperse BBs as well. Just pour some into the bottle.
They don't go very far though. I heard putting water in with them helps, and you can also put some cotton balls in there so you don't sound like a maraca.
could someone recommend me a metal M4 Lower for me to replace mine with? I looked in the magwell and it's one of those tinted plastic ones, it's just been painted black. I was thinking about getting this and ditching the shitty pot metal gearbox, just so i could use the metal receiver, but I'm unsure. It's for a G&G CQBR by the way. EDIT: Maybe This will work?
No clue if this is supposed to go here, but; What is the bullpup in the middle, and is it airosft/have an airsoft version available?
It's a prototype rifle, AS-1. No, there is no airsoft version or anything close to it.

Just got home from my first "bigger" airsoft game (meaning not only my friends, about 25 people). Are there any easy ways to stop goggles from fogging up like hell, I couldn't even see half the time? I've been thinking about getting some anti-fog stuff, but not sure what should I be looking for or if they actually help at all.
