So, there's no straightforward way of making them CQB legal?
Hard air restrictor, has to be ordered from France. http://fg-airsoft.com/en/nozzles-and-related/163-barrel-reinforcement-for-ghk-pdw-.html
So would it be worth trading my RecoilShock G36 for one, with the upgrades listed above and 5 mags? I haven't been keeping up with WEs or GBBRs in general so I have no idea how much any of that runs.

Definitely worth more than the $320 you're asking for the G36. As long as you like the aesthetics, go for it.
I can't in good faith recommend Evike. Stay away from them until you know 100% what you're looking at and what you expect to get, because they will fuck you over if they get the chance. In my experience ASGI is still far more reliable and clear on what you're actually getting from them. As for what, depends on your budget. Airsoft is like anything else, you get what you pay for. You're not going to find anything worth spending money on for $20, guarantee it. If you want an AK, look for a newer CYMA AEG (NOT a springer - other IFAPbros can tell you specific model numbers) or a full-steel DBoys.
I have yet to have evike mess up order of mine
Over the 3 years i played i always was a bit shaky ordering with evike, But they always shipped on time and items arrived perfectly fine. I'm pretty sure today there shouldn't be an issue across all of them.
fucking AK mags....
does anyone know where i can find the stock for this?? http://echo1usa.com/x/guns/modular-tactical-carbine/mtc-3/
It's just a slightly-modified SL8/9 stock.
And the answer is probably nowhere, since the stock seems to be pretty much integral to a modified receiver. You'd have to buy an entire new gun for it.
every surplus store ever
As someone quoted earlier, most surplus stores have a 50% commercial non-military grade inventory but some of the things are made under military contract, neither am I interested in American militaria , mostly eastern bloc middle eastern stuff [editline]13th October 2014[/editline] Speaking of Evike, their walk in store is terrible, what a bunch of elitist pricks. Not a problem with their website though. But I don't like it how they label their cheap Matrix china shit as "Military grade"
Military uses MOLLE, cheap chinashit uses MOLLE, ergo, cheap chinashit is military grade! [editline]13th October 2014[/editline] God i hate airshit marketing
Well yeah the waiver shits a bit of an issue. Doesn't exactly help that I live in the same state where Sandy Hook happened :v: Could I assemble a group of friends (itd be tiny, like 3-4 people if im lucky) or look on craigslist for people who'd be down to play in the forrest? Also I'm still looking for a good gun. budget under 100 preferably, I've seen some nice MP7's on ebay going for less than 60 bucks [editline]14th October 2014[/editline] and lol last question, It probably differs by place to place but whats the thought on taking POW's? Generally discouraged? [editline]14th October 2014[/editline] also i lied really last question what are the rules of respawns? do you get to respawn? or 1 hit you die and you're out?
It's not a good idea to buy a gun off Ebay or Amazon, those are mostly LPEGs (Low Powered Electric Guns), there really isn't any POWs unless you're playing Milsim (Military Simulation), on most fields there's a minimum engagement rule and some other rules like the "bang-bang" rule in which you yell "Bang-bang" at an enemy player when you can't shoot them do to the engagement rules, the "Mercy" rule is in which you let another player leave the game when you can't engage them because of the engagement rules, there's some variations of these rules too. It's differentiating wherever you go. Oh and btw if you're going to play in the woods you might want to alert any neighbors and police near by so they don't confuse you for something else. That's the best I can explain it, sorry if there's any mistakes.
ah alright, b-but ebay has a lot of MP7's! Also, how fast do these things fire? In the videos I hear just a "chuk.chuk.chuk" noise. Are all guns like that? I know these arent real ones and i shouldn't be expecting to shit out 10 bullets a second, but still
Are you talking about MP7s AEP/GBB, or AEGs/GBBs in general?
Also I'm still looking for a good gun. budget under 100 preferably, I've seen some nice MP7's on ebay going for less than 60 bucks
Those $60 MP7s are not nice guns. This is the best gun you'll get for under $100 but it's still not that great http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?cPath=139_24_206&products_id=1485
i shouldn't be expecting to shit out 10 bullets a second
if your automatic/select fire electric gun isn't capable of doing at least this it's probably a piece of shit
if your automatic/select fire electric gun isn't capable of doing at least this it's probably a piece of shit
oh okay lol so im not too crazy for expecting that
Those $60 MP7s are not nice guns. Thanks for the link though.

While as a POW your guns clearly visible (Holstered Pistols or main weapons) were now "Gone". But if you stuffed a gun up your ass or something and you pulled it out with no one looking it was fair game. Required a man or two to watch POW's, With limited spawns people would have rather submitted and waited for an opportune time to escape or use their hidden weapon. Plenty of screaming of when POW's just fucking ran for it or someone had a pistol hidden and just started knocking out the guards. You need a HUGE turnout to make it work and honest players but it's great when it comes together.
Like I said, you get what you pay for. You're not going to find anything worth buying for less than $100. Honestly if I were you I'd find a used Tokyo Marui, a lot of them run around the $100 range and it'll last you a long time if you don't mess with it. Solid reliable guns.
Honestly the 028 line aren't bad starter guns. Great performance out of the box for the price, externals aren't pretty but it'll (mostly) hold together, all plastic so it isn't too heavy(an issue for younger players), and the internals are durable as all hell
I'm having mad feeding issues with my new M4 CQBR, Even with mags I know should be feeding absolutely fine, they're doublefeeding and dropping bbs out of my barrel. Should I get a new hop up chamber? The mags that I'm having feeding issues with are KWA midcaps, JG midcaps, and MAG midcaps. This is available to me locally

If they are jamming in the hop up unit it means the bucking or something is dirty causing them to jam up even for just one shot. I remember with my VSR i forgot to put the spacer in for some stupid reason, Annoying as fuck when i loaded a mag and bb's just rolled out. If you have the hop literally set to nothing it can also do this.

If you hold it straight down or up does the issue go away or change? TBH Sounds like the nozzle isn't moving back far enough during shots. If you took apart the gearbox at all you want to recheck this, if you haven't you may have just gotten a defective gun that probably could be an easy fix. Though if you want to buy a new hopup chamber and stuff it'd help anyway with accuracy and range probably if you include a good bucking and tightbore.
Spray a tiny bit of silicon oil into the feed tube.

You want to lube it no matter what. Dry bucking can crack or just wear down fast.

If you were captured, you could be "interrogated" they sat you down in a chair at HQ, they'd blindfold you and put some headphones on you, they'd then play an infuriating sound. This could last for up to 3 hours at a time since it went on over the whole weekend. If you cracked, you had to tell the other team where your HQ is and your teams movements. Unless the other team managed to free you by assaulting the building and hitting the guards. I wasn't there but it's on a FIBUA training area I've trained on with the ACF, a full scale mockup of a middle eastern village. It's pretty cool.
Also, I know this differs place to place but is there a dress code? I'm not really sure if I wanna drop the money on military uniforms, and idk if I'd seem like a douchebag wearing regular clothes and a backpack and a bandana claiming im a terrorist
