Bring it to a hardware store, try screws till you find one. You can always chop it to length
Thought about it, bit.. uncomfortable since europe. [editline]17th October 2014[/editline] Useless pageking. Fuck.
Bring it to a hardware store, try screws till you find one. You can always chop it to length
Hardware stores are the best ever for shit like this. I got a firebird alternator for my camaro which was threaded wrong, and 30 seconds in a hardware store had the problem all figured out. Now I'm gonna do the same trick for some Glock sights to make those fit properly.
So yeah, I put together this and while they're are some things wrong with it like Auscam and Multicam (Couldn't find a vest that was in Auscam and wasn't flat out insanely priced) and there's the fact that USP is in use from Special Forces only, but I'll probably not end up buying the USP for a while and might just go for something cheaper. Australian Army APS New Gen Kompetitor Advanced AUG KU CIV Airsoft AEG Rifle - $140.00 H&K Umarex Full Metal USP Full Size NS2 GBB by KWA - $149.99 Auscam Long Sleeve Shirt - $29.95 Auscam Trousers - $39.95 Velcro Auscam Baseball Hat – $4.99 Aim Spec 1.5X Red Dot Sight Scope - $65.00 Condor Modular Chest Platform Vest (Multicam) - $81.95 AUG 330rd Hicap Mag for Marui/E1/JG/CA Aug Series Box set of 5 – $65.00 Total: $576.83, w/o pistol $426.84 Doesn't include shipping and the products that aren't clothing are from Evike and made in like, 30 min. Also, I won't be buying this straight up after getting into airsoft. Reason why I went for the Civ version of the AUG is for rails as well.
Isn't airsoft in Australia illegal?
yea he might convert his aug into a ghost gun
Isn't airsoft in Australia illegal?
It's just an idea of what I'd try go for, and apparently I might be moving to New Zealand soon, so yeah.
We found out there's a gun shop around the corner from the office. I bought this on a whim. I only really bought it because he said it didn't need the AKRAA license number thing (but I can't remember why).
Looks really nice, any idea what manufacturer? Looks like it might be Western Arms, which is pretty high end.
u should come to my house and play bbwarz
Was it KWA that was shite when it came to pistols or was it KJW
neither they both have some shit but most of their pistols r gud
Cheers. Nother question. Some guy's selling a broken TM SPAS 12 for £80, apparently its "missing the piece to load pellets into the barrel" Any idea what piece he's on about and how much it'd be to fix?
Was it KWA that was shite when it came to pistols or was it KJW
Mainly the only KJW's that have issues are the single stack 1911s and their Sigs. And from what I understand that all comes down to the magazines, the guns themselves actually shoot pretty well. While the KWA M9 I own is closer to real specifications and has more realistic features, I'd argue that the KJW M9 I had was more accurate, more reliable, and was significantly cheaper.

Theres one on sale for £58 plus shipping.

It's UKARA. United Kingdom Airsoft Retailers Association.
It's UKARA. United Kingdom Airsoft Retailers Association.
I thought UKARA only really applied to shipping and recieving. Shop down the road from me sells airguns that look like 1911's glocks and you don't need a UKARA number to get them. Must be an opt in thing.
I think technically you're supposed to need an UKARA number to purchase RIFs (Realistic Imitation Firearms aka guns that aren't half neon green) since the point is to keep them out of the hands of idiots who want realistic looking guns to go rob the post office with. Retailers have to register with UKARA to be able to sell RIFs I think that's how it's SUPPOSED to work, but I don't know if it works that way in practice.
Yep: During all purchases of RIFs the seller must be sure that the buyer has a legitimate purpose for the gun and doesn't want to go on the rob. UKARA was brought about by private organisations to show to government that retailers are taking the violent crimes reduction act seriously, and it attempts to demonstrate that there's no need for any further ban on airsoft guns. In short: That shopkeeper was breaking the law selling that to you without having a record of what you're going to use it for (i.e. your UKARA number or some form of proof from a site you use it it). Luckily, all the liability ends with the seller, and isn't passed onto the buyer; owning one isn't illegal at all. A lot of places will sell over the counter, but they are required to be sure of how you're going to use it. I guess that falls to the wayside when they just want to turn a profit though.
How the hell do I get the delta ring off a G&G R-8L upper. Unless I can't.

So yeah, I'm kinda wondering if garry accidentally bought an air gun.
Garry, what does the magazine look like?
I'm sure it's airsoft, look at the inner barrel. However it's still a single stack 1911 and that's not that good.
So I've got a problem that's been persisting for a while, though i still have no idea what it is or why so I'll ask here. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/9988278/airsoft2014/IMG_0091.JPG[/t] What is going on with my USP's slide, and what can i do to fix it? It looks so nasty like that and I can't scrape it off. It's never been wet for any extended periods of time and it lives in a drawer. Before it started living in my drawer it was on my desk for a long time, though nothing ever happened to it that would make it rust or whatever this is.
Almost looks like the finish is dissolving or something.
If I'm correct, the slide of your pistol is blued and thats small spots of rust forming. I had this happen to me a while back with a deactivated real steel Walther PPK. To fix this, lay out some newspaper then apply gun oil to a cloth, rub the areas of rust then apply more oil. Then, use 0000 steel wool to remove any remaining rust. That shouldn't damage it. But its up to you whether you want to risk it.
