Also the extended mags for the maruzen/WELL are a nightmare
My friend is a tech who does work for most of the local stores and he says vfc gbbs are highly under rated and some of them can be pretty impressive (he bought his son a vfc mp7 and 10 mags during the summer) but some of them are pretty bad
GBB pistols and supposedly the MP7 are good, but their AR's suck
GBB pistols and supposedly the MP7 are good, but their AR's suck
and their mp5. mp5k uses a different gas system apparently, which is why it isnt as shit. Also heard the UMP isnt total shit, just not great.
GBB pistols and supposedly the MP7 are good, but their AR's suck
Can confirm. Some of their pistols are pretty nice, like the Walther PPQ, but we had a guy bring in a GBBR VFC HK416 and it was awful. The LM4 I had way outperformed the VFC GBB HK416.
They're also the OEM for the Stark Arms Glocks, which I have heard a lot of good things about. I really would love to have one of their GBB MP5A5s, but it's not a priority right now.
£70 a good price for a set of Swedish M90? I saw (didn't buy) some at the weekend at a Militaria Fair and was wondering if it was a good deal or not.
Is good.
How much would it usually go for? Or is that a kind of average price.
I looked up the price for a set here in Sweden and they go for around 80-90£
alrighty folks, i have a question about my motor, gearbox, and general fuckery with my m4. My problems started when I opened it up, and put a new spring in. It was about an inch shorter than the stock one, but I was told that it should be fine. After I opened it up, I cracked the lower receiver, which I promptly replaced. (thanks local guy for a free one!) So, I put it in and it would not feed with any of my mags that would feed perfectly before. It would cycle fine, but there would be this kind of twang sound which I assume was the spring vibrating inside of the piston. It did not sound very good. Today, I put the stock spring back in. Now, my gun will dry fire seemingly perfectly, until I put the upper receiver on. After I put the upper receiver on, it will shoot once or twice (dry, no bbs, they just jam) and then the gun will only cycle about halfway, to the point where the air nozzle (or whatever its called) is pushed all the way back to where it wont be compressed any further before the gears stop turning and the motor stops giving me feedback. At first, I thought it was my motor height or contacts but those seem to be perfect. I also thought that it could be the battery, but I swapped to my other 9.6 nunchuck and its having the same problem. I also changed out the motor because I thought that it could have been fried (this old style G&G has no fuse) but the other motor i have also does the exact same thing. Another thing I checked after searching online was the anti reversal latch. The forum post I looked at said that it could have been getting stuck on the gears backwards, but that doesnt make any sense, because for the most part, it will dryfire perfectly up until the upper goes on. Should I buy a new gearbox? Will Goku defeat Vegeta? Find out next time on '7 Layer Dip's M4 could be totally fucked and has been giving him problems since he bought it!' [editline]17th November 2014[/editline] i'm sorry about my formatting but im too lazy to change it

Did you downgrade the spring? if so, what was the before FPS/after Spring rating. It's possible that the shorter spring could be TOO short (I doubt it though) and isn't putting enough pressure into the piston head, Have you tried holding the gun upside down to fire?
shit like this is why I don't use AEGs anymore.

That means that your problem is with the barrel assembly. Make sure your hopup is aligned correctly and that everything is put in place correctly. Try firing while moving the Mag around inside the well.
this doesn't explain my gearbox getting stuck halfway through it's cycle when the upper receiver is on
You're right. That's weird.
okay, so i appear to have got it working again. What ive done is removed every part of the gearbox and cleaned it, as well as lubing the gears and shims with white lithium grease. I've lubricated my cylinder and hopup chamber before the bucking with silicone oil. Now, it appears to be feeding perfectly fine, although I've only fired 2 or 3 shots because it's 10pm and my mom is asleep. It is also no longer getting stuck midway through the cycle with the upper receiver on. The downside is that the money i spent on this spring and motor appears to have been a total waste. But hey, $20 for a great learning experience is i think worth it.
shit like this is why I don't use AEGs anymore.
I'm getting to that point, both my 416c and 417 are down with electrical / gearbox problems. And ironically my mk17 is shooting great when the shitty vfc midcaps decide to feed.
Man I got so sick of dealing with "why the fuck isn't x working, I did everything right" and then having to take my guns to the tech and pay to get them up and running again. With GBBRs, it's super easy to figure out what's wrong, and them you just chuck the broken part and throw a new one in.
What kind of temperatures are night desert parkas useful to when you have the liner? Would it still keep me warm in -30 celsius?
So I got my first plate carrier ever forever in the mail today along with a 3-piece set of pouches. The carrier's bottom most panel of webbing over the map pouch or whatever has 6 loops horizontal, and the pouch group has 5. If I mount it there it ends up with a bias toward either side of the PC. is it the vest or the pouch that has the weird number of loops? Or did I just make a poor selection and the two are naturally incompatible? It doesn't bother me much but it's slightly triggeri my OCD to have off-center pouches even if barely noticeable. :v: [editline]20th November 2014[/editline] Or am I just stupid and it's meant to be off center
Same thing happened with my MBAV. It something you just have to get used to unfortunately. I stuck a chemlight in the extra column to make it look more even.
Yo does airsoft teach kids basically how to commit school shootings? Kinda worried because my friend is hella disturbed and spends basically hundreds of dollars of airsoft equipment as guns are illegal in my province. (User was banned for this post ("Stop shitposting everywhere." - Swebonny))
Saying airsoft teaches kids how to commit a school shooting is as pants-on-head retarded as saying video games make them violent. So to answer your question, no. And I HIGHLY doubt he's going to get very far in a school shooting with a bunch of BB guns. I would call that more akin to suicide by cop.
