Don't know anything about the quality of that gun in particular, but I would avoid anything ARES on principle alone.
coupon code FREESHIP is exactly what it sounds like.
I'm waiting for them to put a MAP on shipping.
Uses Freeship coupon
Freeship only works on basic shipping
MAP Price on basic shipping
Goes to use coupon on items in cart
Every item is a MAP item.
Breaks monitor
Seriously, fuck MAP. That's a big part of why I don't buy from most US-based retailers anymore.
To be completely honest it's almost the community's fault since the whole airsoft customer base is weak as fuck and thinks they're out of other options so they just put up with whatever shit gets put on the table instead of demanding better as a normal market would.
Does AirsoftGI even do the "free shipping on orders over $100" thing anymore? They've added so many bullshit coupon codes since the past couple years.
I've two more possible xmas guns after the VFC M4 deal went to shit.
Matrix/Cyma SVD or G&P M14. Hard choice, I'm stuck. What would you guys recommend?
I'd pick a G&P over a CYMA any day, but that's just me. I assume you're not going for a specific loadout since those two are such different designs?
No, not really. I only have one gun so I'm not really heading for a loadout in particular. M14 would let me get some MARPAT with my battle belt maybe and do a USMC loadout I guess, some russian camo and same battlebelt could be a russian loadout.
can go either wya it seems

now im just trying to figure out what batteries fit in the g&p m14
CYMA SVD actually is a pretty nice gun, definitely on the top tier of clones. Solid externals that actually look half decent, RS clone gearbox that's super strong and puts out DMR ish FPS out of the box, and the stock range and accuracy are already ahead of most stock AEGs. It's basically a watered down RS SVD
How much should I expect to pay for a Smersh? Found a set for around £50, not including delivery which would be around £20/30 I guess.

good to know, I'll definitely get one someday then
Anyone know this camo?
Looks a bit like flecktarn (excuse me if I'm horribly wrong- not quite familiar with camo names).
It's used by the French, closest match I could find was some sort of Polish camo used by heavy police assault teams.
Anyway, if someone could tell me the name along with a place to get it- I'll love you.
EDIT:
I went full retard and didn't even put in the picture.

Thanks for rehosting it, 7 Layer Dip.
The name of it was just 'Forad' but nothing comes up on Google.
I'd also like to know the name of this one.

Allright, Im wondering what rifle would be best to use as a civilian type autoloading hunting rifle? Im looking to add a civilian gun to my rebel/insurgent kit as I think it would be fitting.
So far Ive been thinking of getting an M14 & use short mags with it. Anyone got any other ideas?
that or a remington m24 made to look like a civilian variant (model 700)

you could get away with pretty much any ak or a barebones AR-15
As much as I like bolt-actions, I think I would be better off with at least a semiautomatic rifle for various reasons so I guess Ill stick to my plan with the M14 unless someone has any other tips.
Plain AK's and AR's are much more common as civilian rifles than M1A's. A shotgun would also be an option, and a cheap one at that.
I meant more as in what *looks* like a civilian rifle (shouldve probably made that a bit more clear) & Im from a country where AR's & AK's are pretty much impossible to get hold of, but I get what you guys are saying.
But considering the scenario is set around mid to late 80's when gun laws were a bit more relaxed around here I guess an AR-15 of some sort wouldnt be TOO hard to get hold of.
But I guess I could go for a pump action too if I have some cash to spare. Anyways thanks for the input!
Not a whole lot of common civilian semiautomatics out there that aren't AK's or AR's.
Make a Mini 14 unffffff
