I believe it's just the kwa that cracks. As far as I know, the TM and VFC gbb MP7's don't crack from the recoil. But the TM doesn't kick as hard and the VFC is 1:1 scale and thicker.

Mine is the aep version. Speaking of that, is there a way to stop the hopup from slipping out of place? Every time i use the gun i have to reset the hop. Unless this is normal, this is the only gun of my like 5 that i have to do that with. My CYMA MP5 and my G&G Combat Machine haven't had the hop adjusted in months.
what do you guys think of the website shootercbgear? The have some spectacular deals, but are they legit? I was looking at getting a fast helmet and a cover from them, and considering how the one i wanted was $17, something seems fishy.
They're legit, but the best FAST replica (assuming you're talking about the ballistic/cabron) is the Dragonredairsoft one.

no, i just want a cheapo one to throw an aor2 cover on, this one to be precise

That'll work, but it will feel very, very flimsy and cheap. If that's not an issue go for it.

Ordered from them a bunch of times; excellent service and some of their Cordura stuff is really quite cheap.

One of these will be my first gun. What's the difference, other than looks?
Ones an AK74 and the other is an AKM. They are identical internally and share many external parts. Get whichever you think looks cooler

I'd personally go for the first one, but that's me. Like apoctank said, they're the same gun internally. Ive got the 048U and as a starter gun its freaking awesome. Perfect for getting into the game.

Does the fact that the AKM is smaller affect accuracy (different barrel length) or capacity of the battery chamber?
I think the AKM just looks cooler, because of the darker wood, but I'd prefer the AK74 if the wood were darker.
If you're up to the challenge you can just refinish the wooden parts if you want them in a darker shade.
Thinking of getting a WE G18C two tone (silver slide, black frame) on friday, Y/N? If Y, should I get the black one or the silver one? If N what should I get instead, preferably on this site as they're having 25% off on gbb pistols right now: http://www.torontoairsoft.com/

Technically the barrels are the same length, but since the AK74 has a large muzzle break the inner barrel is slightly longer. However in airsoft barrel length has little to do with accuracy, and the difference is negligible anyway(like 2 inches tops). As for the battery space they will be the same, they both have wooden stocks that are the same size, the AK74 just has lightening cuts in it

I have a WE 18C, honestly the full auto is mostly a gimmick and it makes the internals a wee bit more complex. If you are set on a 18c, it should not have too many issues, but a 17 is a bit more practical.
The 18 will definitely need fixing much sooner, and parts are harder to source. I think WE did things right with their glocks, though. I've had three or four now. Loved every single one.
I bought my TM 18c mostly because i have a fetish for ported glock slides
also i've used the full auto to great effect many times

can anyone tell me what the point of the one weird velcro strap in the top middle of this carrier is? and also the four elastic looking things? They just confuse me because I don't know what a valid use for them would be.
also, barring Multicam (I just don't like it, and don't want to wear it) what's a good camo to pair with LBX Project Honor?
LBX camo is pretty busy, I'd pair it with a solid color like OD, RG, khaki, or gray.

I think you can use the elastic things to attach a chest rig.

I feel like the fact that you've burned through 3 or 4 of them means that WE did not do things right. Unless of course you've just been selling them and buying different ones, in which case carry on I guess.
All I know is that every WE G18c I've ever seen has had its barrel break within several months, and I recall the replacement process to be rather annoying.

Currently I've got it paired with Black, because all the gear I currently have is black, and I'm too poor to afford more gear right now, but I'll most likely get a hold of some after I get my tax return in.
http://instagram.com/p/wh7aHkTLnW/ I'm in the middle of this image, for reference.
Looks decent with black, although something lighter would blend better. OD or RG might be too much green, so I'd go with khaki or gray.

I've sold and gotten new ones. None have broken on me, and the 19 is the best gun I've ever had. I've had a 17, 18, and 19.

The flap in the middle closes the built in admin pouch. The "elastic looking things" are pieces of webbing used to route comms wires/ clip your PTT onto.

I wasn't really planning on using the full auto mode, just liked the look of the silver slide (and that particular slide) , since I see black glocks all over the place and white + black guns appeal to me. But I suppose a 17 might be better just to make sure it doesn't break or something.
So, the Black Combat Machine is on Pre-Order only with an ETA of January first. Should I get that and wait it out or should I get the tan? It was supposed to be a Christmas gift from my parents.

Agreed. The only things that go are the hammer and frame screw (if you're using higher pressure gas) and those, together, are like a $20-30 fix so no biggie.
Plus it's rather effective on full auto, so not entirely gimmicky.
I have a Stark Arms G18C and it's awesome. Full auto in such a small package is just too fun
