So, the Black Combat Machine is on Pre-Order only with an ETA of January first. Should I get that and wait it out or should I get the tan? It was supposed to be a Christmas gift from my parents. http://www.evike.com/products/34900/ Black http://www.evike.com/products/33558/ Tan
Honestly I'd just get the tan and repaint it. [editline]22nd December 2014[/editline] Anybody know anything about SHS inner barrels? My SVD is in dire need of a tune up and I'm just going to overhaul it internally, so a new inner barrel is in order. I wanted a Madbull one, but Airsoft Atlanta doesn't carry them and I'd prefer to buy all the stuff there so I can just drive up and get it.

That sounds rather important.

That sounds rather important.
Well, the rest of SHS's products seem to be pretty good, I hear a lot of good things about them and I haven't had any issue with other SHS parts I've installed, but I know inner barrels are a whole different animal. The problem is that Airsoft Atlanta pretty much only carries SHS, PDI, Guarder, and Prometheus TBBs and I need a 500+mm barrel which would mean dropping upwards of $150 with any of the other brands I listed.
you get what you pay for etc afaik the SHS steel barrels are not coated so expect quick wear
My friend got a KWA ERG for christmas, he has lots of 11.1v lipos from his RC cars and planes, is it safe for him to use it in the stock ERG?
you get what you pay for etc afaik the SHS steel barrels are not coated so expect quick wear
Thanks. I'll probably just suck it up and buy a Madbull one online, that way I can get better quality. Plus I'll be able to get a longer one as well. The cylinder volume on the A&K SVD is absurd so I'm gonna need a long ass barrel anyway. Speaking of which, any of you have ideas about the proper cylinder volume to barrel volume ratio? I've heard 1:1.5 to 1:3 is the ideal range, but I'd have to have a hella long barrel to pull that off. 500mm barely satisfies 1:2.9, and 590mm is still only about 1:2.5. I've heard that the benefits of longer barrels tend to drop off at around 500mm. Any consensus on that?
Does anyone know of any airsoft Browning Hi-Powers?
WE Tech makes one.
Actually I probably could've googled that, but thanks. Thank god the Mark III looks pretty much the same in terms of looks.
Anyone here know a reliable site where I can get a Tanaka Colt SAA in canada? My friends been searching high and low and I was thinking about surprising him for his birthday.

I'm interested in getting a few airsoft guns for my nephews and I to play. What is the absolute cheapest gun, preferably like an AK, that you guys would recommend? We most likely will only play privately.
Most CYMA AKs are pretty easy on the budget
I think he is referring to springers and lpegs
I think he is referring to springers and lpegs
Nope, AEG's. I was looking at CYMA AK's and D-Boys, anything to look out for or steer away from?
CYMA is pretty good for ak, Dboys has great externals, meh internals. People have told me to stay away from JG aks
Hard to go wrong with a full metal Cyma AK. Even the shittier ones aren't too bad. I have the $90 fake wood full metal Cyma AKS-74u that I've done nothing to but bypass the fuse and wire it to deans, it's currently my favorite primary to use. Stock compression and shimming are pretty damn impressive for a 90$ Cyma, Consistent 355-357 FPS with hop up adjusted. The only upgrades I have in mind are a ProWin and a Tightbore for better groupings.
Is he Jesus?
Nope just a friend that I have known since the third grade and that has always been there. We both love airsoft and we both love westerns. I figure you guys might know where to look.
Any notable differences between the revisions on the Cyma AK's?
I think the internals generally get better, but most cm030s and up are very solid with the 040 and up series being even better
Any notable differences between the revisions on the Cyma AK's?
AFAIK the only differences between em are the externals. They're all the same internally, so it just comes down to deciding what one looks best to you. Are the KSC Desert Eagles any good? The full-auto one that is. I got some amazon gift cards and its 90 bucks on Amazon.
anyone have experience putting 9.6 nunchucks into peqs? I'm just wondering what size/style peq i should get. It's for my A&K Masada
The average 9.6 1600mah nunchuck will fit a PEQ2 easily but a PEQ15 will only hold stuff like 8.4 minis. PEQ15s are good for lipos though
How do you adjust the hopup on the ISSC M22?
If you disassemble the gun to the hopup/inner barrel assembly, there should be a wheel on the underside of the hopup unit
What's the point of tinted goggles? Wouldn't that just limit your ability to see camouflaged players?
What's the point of tinted goggles? Wouldn't that just limit your ability to see camouflaged players?
Sunglasses except bb-proof?

Well, I've got about $100, and I wanna get a good pistol. I think I've narrowed it down to a few choices. I'm thinking about the ASG CZ75, ASG M92, and the KWC Desert Eagle. I'm leaning more towards the M92 and Desert eagle simply because they're cheaper (Desert Eagle I found on Amazon for $90). I really like CZ75s though. However the M92 I have a custom build planned out for, with an extended inner barrel, the Madbull Hitman comp and maybe some wood grips. And since it's just a rebranded KJW M92, it's probably well built and accurate. The Desert Eagle however would just be badass. Hard kicking and heavy weight I think is awesome. Only problem with it would be that I'd have to buy a real holster for it, not just the universal ones I have. They all have Co2 mags available which is a plus for me, so I can use them year round. Anyone have some thoughts/opinions for me? Is there a better M9 out there I could get for around the same price?
Sunglasses except bb-proof?
basically yeah glare is a shit in the sunlight

Both of them were quality pistols and I never had any issues with them.
